Cant tell you how much I like the new format, especially the little notes pointing to exactly what the problems are. Keep it up man, keep innovating the gunpla review genre. Kits cool but it was too much for me to consider as usual with most P-bandai
I constantly had decals falling, but i changed my way of applying clear coat, and now there's no more issues. Just lay down a thick wet coat on them as first layer, instead of the thin layers. Either Mr color or Alclad, works great.
This is the very first time I actually shared a RUclips video. And it was to my Facebook. No one gives a [redacted] about Gunpla in my circle, but helping PapaGundam whenever I can. And I believe this video talked me into buying a GM! Another GM Sniper though, [redacted] this thing.
The inner mono eye looks so good! The effect through the visor is sweet. I like how it has the dual effect of lighting up the whole screen while highlighting the inner camera. I really like the lore behind Freddie’s doing this. Many of the mass produced models only have a single main camera like the zeeks, but because of the bad connotations, they just put a screen in front of it. You could probably parse some ironic symbolism about the Feddie’s not being too different from the zeeks or Titians, but I will leave that to someone with the flare for the artistic. I think this is most evident between the Byarlant and Byarlant custom, but you can see in in most close up shorts in Unicorn at least Also RIP Kobe Byarlant. Never forget. And to be honest, if anyone wants it, the GM sniper II/command are very good kits.
Gotta agree with you about those third party chinese waterslides, even without mark setter or topcoat they still grip the plastic much better than the bandai ones
I love your videos and voice over. You don't use a script do you? I'm starting out my channel and to be honest I take a lot of inspiration from you. Either way, you're amazing at keeping the audience interested and I can sense your mood through the tone and movement of your voice. Thanks for making content and I hope you never stop. Oh, and obviously your talent when it comes to painting is unrivaled. Cheers man :)
By the time I finish painting, filming & editing I have no soul left for scriptwriting. So I shoot from the hip tis a double edge sword. Good luck starting a youtube page now, you'll need it with the way this site is going. They wont let you have any fun these days.
I am not sure for US customers, but in Asia it's possible to get the kit directly from p-bandai sites that cost under 70 USD. So for those who are watching in Asia, this would be a pretty decent buy. On a separate note, really dig your videos since you paint your kits well and go through the trouble to learn and execute certain details that require some standard of dedication. Also, since learning about your depression, do take care and I hope you surround yourself with good people. God bless, you're doing great!
Your reviews are great. You speak your mind and I honestly agree with you on this kit especially, it's cool looking but ovr priced for a re coloring with and you dont get much extra. I think that about almost all p bandia stuff hence why I've never got one I'm a builder on a budget lol. The only pbandia I've been interested in is the mg dwadge custom from what I seen not a bad price it's weird but cool looking and I'm a fan of the dom line of mobile suits
Well tbf with the car comparisons. The GM Sniper II rivaled the gundam. Then by wars end there were mass produced suits that surpassed gundam like the Gelgoog
I’ve got a question. I’m considering to start airbrushing but inside my apartment. If I have a spray booth, will the gaianotes still leave a toxic smell ?
Yea the price sucks i mean for that price i could get a couple of kits they charge you for the plastic but then you have so many parts left over sorry no thank you i just ordered the zaku 2 and chars zaku from newtype im happy with that and that was only 85 bucks but anyway it looks awesome as always man keep it up
Well, P-Bandai kits are expensive so you really have to be a hardcore fan of series and or the mobile suit itself. Bandai is all about recycling and reusing kits over and over for variations. Bandai charges a _premium_ for the recoloring and the additional accessories and/or changes to the armor parts.
The kit originally sold for about $55-60 over in Japan, but NewType’s markup is what is killing it here. $140 is the highest I’ve seen it go for. While they do have a nice selection of tools and paint, I cannot get behind their overpriced stock of kits.
Your dead on with the price. Unfortunately I am an idiot an just buy anything new that shows up on Newtype lol its a dope kit but ya, the price is a bit ridiculous for two gatling guns. Anywho, I like what you did. Very clean and crispy. Im going to send you a tool that destroys seam lines quickly and efficiently, just might take a bit. I buy alot of tools and this one is an everyday user.
Gundam: "Gimme a PG Sinanju, and maybe I'll forgive you." Bandai: "Yeah okay." *monkey paw curls* *Bandai announces the PG Sinanju sometime in late March, but to everyone's horror, it's reusing the PG Mark II's frame much like its RG counterpart*
Lol, this is going to sound so.....girly?!..But, IF you wanted to pose him permanently (forgive me if this is a huge OMG, girl!!! You do not EVER perma-stance a Gunpla!!!)...when I want to permanently pose a doll Im working on or cut the sides of her mouth out a bit and fill it back in to make it look like she's straight faced & not smiling making her more creepy looking or I want to make dug in shapes on her forehead but need to smooth out the edges, I use plumbers epoxy, the 2 part putty kind. It works SO good, you can smooth it out and even sand it down once it dries so you cant even see it, then you can paint right over it. I've found smaller tubes of plumbers epoxy in Walmart clearance bins for $2, lol! If you smooth it on along the joints as you pose it, then let it dry (which takes no time), it works great! I re-paint thrift shop dolls into creepy dolls and sell them at my booth in an antique mall, lol, I'm not a doll mutilator...Lol! Well, not JUST for the hell of it anyway, lol! ;P
its funny how much a custom GM gets done in every era in the hands of a capable pilot despite the base units or generic pilots being total fucking fodder GM snipers are fucking sexual aesthetically tho for specialist or special GM units..... especially them white dingos ..... god damn they are amazing and i wana get a good kit of one
I dont ever use Mark Setter on my decals, i ONLY use the Mark Softer but i use it every fucking time. On all decals, from all manufacturers. Also if you want to eliminate silvering, the easiest way is to trim as much of the excess film away before you even put it in water. Get yourself some super sharp scissors specifically for decal work, dont use them for anything else and make sure they dont pinch the paper when they come to a complete close. A proper sharp pair of small scissors shouldnt pinch like that, otherwise its going to put a small tear in your decal at a corner that can result in it tearing in half. Also, if you want to go offroad with some fine lines added to your model, you can buy sheets of plain white decal that you can cut up any way you want. You can use this to create super fine narrow lines that would be impossible to paint otherwise.
Sounds like the Fallout game series of Gundam Also my family swear like sailors and your friendly enough so wheres youtube goin with that, huh? Still trying for that 1950s poster smile family image. They should let your ass be so you can just be yourself.

I know I’m basically a year late but still I love this kit
THERE'S A GUNDAM DOWN HERE!
The GM sniper 2 has alot those same problems
Wow, it's more expensive than I would have imagined. The price of this kit here in Asia is around 57 bucks. It is almost 250% of the price

I checked my box 110 pieces bot used in the box give or take

you got to melt down some excess plastic in some plastic glue/cement, and use that to fill in the gaps, and sand down any excess.
