You know what would be great? Just make a company that sells an open source camera body, with open source code. Literally waiting years for blackmagic and Ed Lachman to come to some sort of a deal. Hire the programmers who made magic lantern, sell a cheap camera body, and let's bypass these money hungry, and very petty, camera companies. Cameras could become like building a PC. Oh, you want to sue us for putting raw in the camera? guess what, the software is open source with anon programmers
I was frustrated with most of the exposure tools on the market and created my own zone system inspired by Ansel Adams. I have heard of EL Zone but never looked into it. Thanks to your video I realized I basically recreated it... :/ Anyway, it's basically an FX6 / FX3 LUT that I leave running on the small screen while using a dedicated external monitor / raw recorder for composition.
