Went to the game and chatted with a lot of northampton fans before and in the stand during the game. They were convinced they would slip up, but who'd have thought rovers would have pulled it out of the bag like that! To be fair though northampton never really turned up in the 2nd half, if they had carried on in the same vein as the first they would have gone up i reckon. Great vlog, enjoyed it.

I sincerely believe that _most_ Professional Sports Leagues would benefit tremendously from some version of Relegation.
Personally, I think the way that the Premier League does it is 100% the best.
And, without question, living here in the States, the 2 Pro Leagues that would benefit the most are MLB (Major League Baseball), and The NHL (National Hockey League). Both leagues would be highly improved with Relegation!
I 100% agree. But I also don’t think relegation in US sports will ever be accepted unfortunately. That was the main reason behind the super league, that the American owners didn’t understand or respect promotion/relegation

Scunthorpe didn't care. If they cared they would not have put a 6 year old in goal who had only played 1 first team game before. They had no pride and went down another rung the following season. Good!

As a cobblers fan since my first game in 69 that play off game was one of the most electrifying games I’d ever seen, the atmosphere was incredible

Haha it was really weird. They knew there was a lot of Northampton fans in the home end, so to avoid a pitch invasion becoming nasty they just asked who wanted to go in the away end. I went in with 3 other people! Don’t know how I blagged it tbh 😂
