titleist 970 were the holy grail fairway woods back in the day

Really too many shafts in the matrix for mini drivers ?? The Taylor Mini shaft is the same length as their 3 woods, I am sure you have different weighted 3 wood shafts with a universal adaptor, the Taylor Titanium 3 woods have the removable shaft and I switched out the stock mini shaft for a heavier AD DI 75s which I found worked better for myself. I found these mini drivers fit a wide range of players from the strong player that wants a option of the tee thats more accurate or that player that just doesnt driver it very well so the shorter shaft gets them in play more often.

Yeah, that comment doesn’t make a lot of sense. I put a Tensei AV Blue fairway shaft in my Original One mini driver and it’s my short par four weapon off the tee. Any hole 380 yards or under and I’m putting my “mini-drive” 250 yards in the fairway at 75% FIR. Kind of funny they also brought up the Callaway UW as I have the 17 and 21 in the bag!

If the mini driver is so niche explain to me why the TM BRNR is now selling on eBay for higher than retail in some cases? There is demand for mini drivers because they WORK. The other OEMs must be watching and realizing it might be worth offering a mini driver of their own.

Update: so after introducing the idea that Titleist has a mini-driver and 15 minutes of rambling discussion about mini-drivers, etc. you announce it most likely isn’t going to be available retail. WTH?!
