I can confirm. I only swing it @ 100-103mph and generate too much spin. I got fitted into the tour head. Great driver. One tip though, they use the pxg ball which is a higher spinning ball

It would have been interesting to see two year cycle drivers included in this. It was have been good to see Srixon and Titleist included since this as far as I know was the first year testing all lofts.

@@FullyEquippedGolfI think a single table source would really make sense here. It just feels like you’re trying to get click throughs to multiple articles. I understand you deserve advertising revenue for your work but you’re completely sacrificing the opportunity to be the premier source for unbiased club reviews

I want to see the data comparison between the models including offline misses. No one cares if driver is long when the ball goes totally offline with misshits.

Would be interesting to see how these drivers perform at a different aoa. Take the highest and lowest launching heads and retest at -1 & +1 to see how performance changes

You mentioned several times the Cobar LTDx Driver has been exceptional for forgiveness. How does it compare to the drivers you just reviewed. From your statement it's really forgiving. What about distance. I have a 90 MPH swing speed. a. I can buy one use much cheaper than I could buy a new one, and if the performance is the same, that's what I would do.

  • @nickmillar9651

Was the Pxg forgiving. I have a Pxg black ops standard 9 degree. If I loft up can I get move launch without distance loss

i just tested a few drivers ended up with cobra darkspeed non ls. im 2 cap 110.. my bud 6 cap 105. i know i dont like tm products. not a fan of twist face. he went into the fitting basically gonna buy the best shaft combo with qi10. walked out with nothing. it was that bad. not even close to his tsr 3 or my cobra or the xl2 we tested as well. ill likely get fitted for the pxg though. i like the ability to move weight to the toe. and the darkspeed ls with heavy toe weight was just too right....high toe is my shot...

That’s crazy. I have the ping G lst and my worst miss is the high toe. Spin drops to 1500 and ball dives left. The newer product from ping and taylormade seems like it would completely eliminate that shot

TM quality control is the worst of the major OEMs. It’s a chronic issue that has been going on for ages. Hope you’re right that they’re taking it seriously now. Put me down as skeptical.

Carbon does not flex the way metals do, this is why they don't build planes out of it because when carbon fails is catastrophic unlike aluminum planes. That being said, why does TM think that a carbon face is better than titanium and why do they put a piece of vinyl on the face? I've already seen the carbon face fail on a friend with a high swing speed and also on a RUclips golfer.
