- I DID not expect to be binning my holy grail for this driver but it is the full package! This brand new 2024 driver has everything I need in a driver, solid club head speed, dispersion, distance, forgiveness, I think i could gain some serious yards on the golf course by gaming this driver. It's been one of the best drivers ever, its a forgiving driver, hit the driver on the up, hit the driver longer... mid handicap golfers use this driver, low handicap golfers use this driver, average golfers use this drier! Again check swing weight after build. I watched Gary Martin have driver fitting and was amazed. Increased weight took left side out of his swings. Would love to see what would do for you. This was another great vid. Enjoy new driver.

Those near mint 2016 TaylorMade M2 drivers are getting cheaper by the day.
You can buy one and 2 more for backup drivers for $300 bucks.

I have been fitted and tried all this years drivers, ended up with Ai Smoke 9n degree, turned down to 8, but in all honesty with some tweaking any of this years drivers would have performed, they are all that good. I just felt most comfortable with the Ai Smoke, my pals have commented on how consistent i now drive the ball, and i am definitely hitting the ball further than with my old TSR2. I believe a good fitter, with a decent stock of shafts, will be able to fit you into any of the current drivers, they seem to copy each other and produce different versions of the same thing. Smoke and mirrors, pardon the pun
Joe fit me for a Qi10 last week and it was an incredible experience. I must have gone through 5-6 different shafts before settling on a set up. It’s well worth it
what shaft did you settle on & are you still loving it ?
I got the QI10 in the tensi black x stiff. Love it!! I tried the other Brands and they look so good as well, however this driver just worked better for me. I was originally going for the paradigm, but just didn't jive, loved the look of the cobras, but didn't work out.
Can't go wrong with std. Qi10! I got fit as well. Qi10 was outstanding. Callaway didn't hold a candle to TM as the numbers were quite obvious. Great choice!
You should go for the PXG, number 1 they have the PXG shaft sleeve setting which is 3 degrees flat, you would not hit it left at all then, number 2 you can have a heavy weight right out in the toe if you need more help avoiding left. Nothing can match the fitting options of the PXG drivers.
Should have hit 5 more drives with your driver at the end just out of curiosity and hit up on it like that one :P

Haven’t found any of the new drivers (except the ping) that will maintain good numbers in the cold wet conditions of the Pacific Northwest.
I too have a club speed of 158.2 on a monitor but it drops to around 95 on course lol😅 but I am old
Certainly was a very thorough fitting you hit so many drivers I lost count! You must have been exhausted after the fitting
You should also look at swing weight and grip after shaft selection. All of these change swing weight and performance.
I have 4 drivers, all last years models and cost a total of $1000aud. Im lefty so have to buy and try, however its fun rotating.
Im Callaway, TM, Titleist, Cobra then Srixon. Just not a fan of Ping other than the G400 back in the day...

Hitting on a sim is no substitute for hitting on the course , be interested to see what happens

Curious what the TSR2 would have done with the same setup. 10.5 or 10.75 loft, higher tee and hitting up. The low launch was the only thing was off on the TSR2

If your going to hit up on the driver , your going to not like your distance loss on the course. If you going to hit up you need 9 degree or less . Preferable less . Doesn't take a fitter to know what you need . .
Alex- I am doing a Fitting for the new Cobra DarkSpeed this weekend- I am a 11.0 Handicap, almost 60 years old :) Any thoughts on which one I should try LS, X or Max? Bill

For someone who hasnt been fitted for a driver, would you recommend trialling extreme in terms of shafts from senior/lightweight to x/heavier?
I wouldn’t know based on your swing to be honest!

Why are people over looking pxg?
Really would have been interested to see what it would have been like with the TSR3, or lofting up the TSR2 and seeing the ball speed numbers and maybe it with different shafts. It just really shows how close the heads are and how good and relevant the TSRs are even though they are at the end of their cycles.
Was going to say the same thing. If this is a real fitting, the fitter would have played with the loft and lie of the Titleist. Since every shot went left, even a different shaft could have straightened it out. The Titleist had the best ball speed (by 2.1 mph.... much better). Not sure what those two were looking at..... or how they missed such an obvious number. Makes me wonder if this is sponsored.

Looks like you were set on the Taylormade no matter what. Why didn’t you try the Ping with different shafts or some other brands?

Looks like all about distance really.... spin way too low for great control and accuracy .... best of luck ... wish it was more about more clubs with more shafts ... but i guess u already had ur mind set up before u got there .... tons more u could've tried... wish i'd seen u hit Kai'li 60X shaft with those ... and more ... but glad ur happy ;)

No, I've been through a fitting with an excellent fitter. Shafts don't dictate overall consistency compared to shafts. A shaft is feel and fine tuning. Confidence and dispersion is dictated by the club. He made an excellent choice.

@@edanzore if you have been to a fitting, you would understand. I guess you wouldn't understand then and only comment with wrong if you haven't been through the process. The club head is a big determination. Shafts fine tune based on a person swing speed. If your face path is open relative to your club path, no shaft will fix that. Right!

It’s not a complete test without including PXG. Try again.
Look at all the butt hurt fanboys because X driver brand wasn't included or was dropped, get over it. Not every driver works for every player. PXG fanboys need to realize that very few places are allowed to fit PXG, mostly just PXG locations and some Club Champion locations THAT is why PXG isn't included without a whole separate fitting. PXG really tries to control who can do their fittings.
Eliminating an entire brand because one of their models doesn’t work for our is bizarre. I don’t get this process at all.
