I think wrapping any vehicle is a 2 man job...until i walked into a professional wrapping shop and saw a guy doing a Porsche Cayenne all by himself. These guys are insanely good at wrapping cars. He did the entire SUV in just over 2 hours.
I don't get why people have to invent terms like "laying glass" that don't describe at all what is being done and then act like this is some term others should use.
What’s in the spray? I’ve read that it should be cleaned and wiped with alcohol, is that not true? I have a stripe I want to put down the side of my car and I really don’t want to mess it up.
Question regarding durability of wrap material, I purchased a used side by side utility vehicle that has a lot of scratches. I was thinking of wrapping it to make it look nicer but wondered how wrap material would hold up to dirt and mud and maybe brush rubbing across it on the trails?
Wraps are actually very thin, we use all 3M 2080 at my shop for color changes and I wouldn't recommend it for protection. A paint guard might be a better material to use if you're looking for protection, it's very expensive though.

@@frostbtn Really depends on the attention to detail. Also If you're doing a car like a Porsche why wouldn't you charge more money! Clearly they have money to spend lmao
What don't you understand? You really don't realize there are costs involved outside the cost of the goods? Go find someone to design a webpage for the cost of electricity. 🙄

That's a generous 3 inches lol
Thank you
"3 inches, boom." - if I had a dollar for everytime I said that

Really Really Really wish you all would do one on the VIVID windshield wrap. I just ruined a whole bunch of it.
Is there a way I can contact you guys personally with a serious inquiry ?
How would you wrap with a cowl cover on the car? Like, the corner protective plastic pieces that were installed by the manufacturer
you guys should leave the factory stick protector sheet on it and slowly peel sections off as you iron out imperfections
Where I can get the wrapping paper
What spray so I use to put the vinyl down. 😅

so automotive grade grade wrap is extremely tough just don't cheap out and you should be fine

look into paint protection film. they even have color changing forms. Stek or Xpel
Awesome vid
Vivid or avery which is good
They are using vivid
@@cody2957 which one is good? Better quality
@@NidhinSuseelan I'd recommend Vvivid, especially if you plan on doing a gloss wrap because the orange peele looks pretty bad with avery.

3m is the best one
Material cost is $300/75ft retail. How is this costing us 4k is beyond my imagination.
ikr even for labor its insane.. like 2-2500 is reasonable

Were do i found the green tape or the one you are using for the perfect cuts?

Why's bro keeping the razor in his hat!? 😂
what color is that?
I don't get it. Why make a tutorial video on something you have no idea how to do?
How much wrap would I need roughly for a VX commodore
Is vinyl weatherproof?
Ever use fabric tape? People who sew have them and it's reusable...lol.
Watching you guys do this gives me anxiety.
4 people would be best lol
