  • This is a fun demonstration of how you can use the drawing tools in Silhouette Studio Basic Edition to create different design elements. This video focuses on food items, but can be applied to anything you want to create.
I combine different shapes with the weld function, modify new shapes with editing points, switch up colors and transparency, and more.
This would be a fun series if anyone is interested in more content like this.

Thank you! I was hoping to have a live scheduled to go with this, but the Vegas trip put me behind schedule. 🙈😂I'm definitely getting mixed feedback, but it was a lot of fun to make, so it's all good either way! LOL

Love this video! Right now, I am in between projects, looking around the house for things to make, and came upon this video. I am going to practice these drawing skills so I can up my game.

I love just playing around in the software! Quite a few of these videos ideas come from that.

I hate being negative, but this is not at all like the videos you usually put out. I found it hard to follow along. It's like it's missing the voice over and it moves too fast. I like when you walk us through step by step, like most of your other videos.
You are a great teacher by the way.

Having an opinion doesn't mean you're being negative. Not all content can be for every viewer, and that's ok. I am going to be trying out different formats from time to time to try to reach a wider audience, but the majority of the videos will be the typical tutorial style. The original plan with this one was to have a live session scheduled at the time of posting the video so that we could all get online and create together step by step, but we ended up going to Vegas and I fell behind.
I always appreciate feedback. It let's me know what you guys want to see more of.

@@silhouettesuccess I love your training tutorials. I truly enjoyed watching this video, it was an inspiration for what a person can create and not so much as a training tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing.❤

This was really good but I have the most difficult time using the points to move things around

It's easier if you zoom in real close, then use the arrows on your keyboard to move them.

Are you able to show slower how you made the two interal of sets for the watermelon. I think I understand but i want to make sure.

One thing you can do is click the little settings cog wheel and change the playback speed to be slower.

You want to do the regular internal offset, then just click on internal offset again while the first one is still selected. Then select both offsets, right click, and make a compound path.

If you could help me figure out how to get to my saved projects and even the new images I’ve bought I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve reached out to Silhouette a couple of times but never hear anything. I’m using my Cricut more now but much prefer my Silhouette. I have Business Edition and the latest software I think. I’m not sure I can even find the latest software. Looks like they’ve redone several -things…Thank you so much if you feel you can help me..
