Aloha, Amanda & Felix....Love this Korean Series. I have been to both Ireh and Debu. Both places are great to eat at. The food spread you ordered was fantastic. The mandoo is outstanding there and homemade. Debu is really unusual. I enjoyed the different toppings. There was not as much of a selection when I visited, so I need to go back and try the ones that I missed. Hats off to the creativity from these owners. Nice to have a different out of box experience. Yi Fang...Sometimes at night there are long lines at this location. Great Great Teas... One of my favorites. The episode was Kool because there were so many bloopers...Hahaha. And the quote of the day from Amanda at Yi Fang regarding the Strawberry tea..."I can never get a satisfying poke". Funny... Amanda....All kidding aside you're the best. Wow it was so windy if you had fly fans, they would blow away in the wind...LOL! Cheers!
OMG, I watched this on an empty stomach -- a definite rookie error I should know by now never to do when watching your videos! The Korean food looked so ono, and I was really fascinated by those "Korean inari" at Debu. I gotta check those out! Good to know about the parking too. Thanks as always for highlighting local eateries and taking us along with you. And for making us laugh with those outtakes....so funny! 🤣
Guys. LA galbi stands for “lateral cut” the thin sideways cut. Regular galbi used to be the “big bone” English cut ribs and whether it’s marinated depends on where you are. Im Korea the meats aren’t marinated well but they’re served with lots of dipping sauces. Locally, the meat is usually very well marinated. All of my ancestors are from Korea, Seoul and Cheju and meat was such a treat and expensive thing to have. But even their meat and fish chon was not seasoned because it was served with cho jang and Ko choojang sauces to dip. Im new to your channel and enjoying it very much!
Hi guys! I am a new recruit to your channel and I love your videos, especially with Devon! I just wanted to leave a comment to let you know that you have a new fan all the way in Ireland! You guys are so fun together and I appreciate you giving honest reviews. The bloopers at the end are my favourite! Sending love from Ireland 💚
I think this is your most enjoyable bloopers yet!!😂❤. Those inari looked amazing. I thought how perfect that dine in; grab n go sushi and tea were all in same location. Very cool! Nice weather. Cute watching Amanda running around chasing napkins. You guys are awesome! Keep up the great video content❤
Amanda, at 12:06....been there, done that at Foodland! I wanted the haupia-sweet potato dessert in the glass display case. Looked like there was glass in front! I asked the little Filipino lady behind the counter if she could get it for me, so she walks around to the front, reaches in, and hands me the dessert. LOL! She looked at me really funny! Anyway, love your trip to Koreamoku! I thought only we called it that!
Hana is my favorite Tea place but then they up and moved to Pearl City. So Yi Fang is my back up tea place after Wen's which is up the street from that Yi Fang location. But I have like 3 free drink cards filled for Yi Fang. The whole area has a lot of Korean restaurants. Down the street from where I live is Frog House and there is a Korean spa also there.
OMG Egg Pancakes @ YiFang one of my favs, their drinks are good too! Glad to see them in a new location. That Ahi Debu Roll looked almost too pretty to eat, lol!
BTW, did you get the drink carrier from Yi Fang? It's heavy duty! Made of corrugated cardboard with a waterproof coating, not the thin flimsy kind from burger joints. I have one that's 6 months old! I keep it in the car and use it whenever I have extra drinks to carry. Even better than those formed paper drink holders.
Ireh looks like an awesome place. The yukjeon ( Pan-fried Battered Beef) - haven't had those in ages . @22:48 Felix that was funny ! Great outtakes showing the lighter side of #AmandaandFelixEats but also the work that goes into these camera shots followed by hours of editing to make the finished product appear seamless and flawless .
Hi you guys! I just finished watching this video, sooo great. Of course it's about the food, but really it's just so wonderfuly funny the way you two interact with each other! The outtakes are to cute! Thanks for making us smile 😂
You were right in the neighborhood by Choi’s! When you gonna check them out? They do everything great. Love their kalbi, bbq beef, bbq chicken and meat jun! Our family caters out from them when we have special events. They are very mom n pop - had to get a kitchen out of a convenient store to keep going.
My family just ordered out from them a week or two ago and still the same. Mama Choi is still there so far, but has some new help. Not sure about new owners. They might still be operating out of Hana Market 930 McCully St. (Take out only? Not sure)
tofu skin sushi is my FAVORITE type of sushi. do you know how hard it is to find even the mmeehhhh knockoff versions of that stuff where i live?? i would do some serious stuff to get some of that right about now!!!
Hi Amanda & Felix…omg every restaurant looked fantastic! The food made my mouth water and now I’m craving some Korean food. Love your content and always have a laugh at the bloopers. Oh Felix…your comment maybe you should do the poking lol 😉😉 take care you two 😊🇨🇦
I know on non-shooting days you try to eat healthier, so based on your success with this pattern, what would you say was the golden ratio of healthy eating/cheat days?
Oh, oh, oh, only problem watching your vlogs--make me HUNGRY! Im with felix, eat the meat clean off the rib bone! Oh forgot, aloha from Caliente, NV. Oh man, id go for the la ribs and meat jon. Forget the appetizers.
Your explanation of galbi is not correct. LA means short for lateral cut which were popularized in US. Most galbi comes marinated so LA galbi doesn’t necessarily mean marinated short ribs.
I like the twists that the Asian community puts on their food in Hawaii, so yummy 😋
All that Korean Food looked amazing!
It sure was! Mahalo Danny! 🤙

I think it's called "muddling": when you crush the lime or mint for a cocktail.
Yes! That’s the word 🙌🏼🙌🏼 lol

Oh my! Debu looks soooo good. Did you say what the parking was like? Sorry if I missed that.
No worries! They have commercial parking in the condo! Entrance of keeaumoku! Only thing they said not to park and go off property or they will tow🤙🏻
Looks delicious! Watching from Seoul. Went to Ireh awhile ago on Keeaumoku Street.
OMG Egg Pancakes @ YiFang one of my favs, their drinks are good too! Glad to see them in a new location. That Ahi Debu Roll looked almost too pretty to eat, lol!

No we didn’t get the carrier 😨 lol sounds better than the cardboard ones!
They all look great😍 Amanda chasing things is hilarious 😂There’s a Yi Fang in my area, hopefully they carry those teas.
😂😂😂 mahalo Yvonne 🤙🏻
Being Korean (south), I never tried food from my homeland until I was an adult, it all looks good
LA galbi is referring to the cut. Korea has both marinated and salt/pepper galbi.
LOVE Ireh! Used to go to the one in McCully Shopping Center!
Such onolicious home cooking!🤤 so glad we got to feature them🤙🏻
"If you like kim chee and you like bacon", silly question!😋
"You don't spit into the wind, and you don't mess around with Jim."
lol!! Love that combo🤤
Ireh looks like an awesome place. The yukjeon ( Pan-fried Battered Beef) - haven't had those in ages .
