This is what passion does to you. No shiny dresses, no glitter just pure commitment to their music. It makes me so happy that they are still sticking to each other after so many years. :)
She is a treasure, and such a kind, pure, and sweet person and the same time a fiercely strong, shining, amazingly talented person. .one of my favorite people ...truly one of the best examples we have to offer, should we have to present someone of the highest regard to represent humanity in order to demonstrate a reason that we should be spared ...she is easily our best and brightest hope
What a class act! Got to see them perform last month at the Bellwether in LA while vacationing there. They were brilliant live - such a great show and a great venue too!
This new album is, for my tastes (and I have practically memorized every song from every album, I've been such a HUGE fan of theirs for so long now), is their finest since Crane Wife. It's just a perfect beauty, and so touching in all the ways we love Colin's songwriting and the Band's craft. BTW, his voice here is amazing, as well, no strain at all.
When I heard this song for the first time I absolutely loved it but didn't find out right away who the artist is. I heard it on my car radio and although I could have pulled over to record some of it, I was in a hurry to get home, so I figured I'd just look up the few lyrics I could make out. No luck. I finally heard it again in the car on the way to the gym and when I got to the parking lot I did record some of it and was so happy to finally find out whose work it is. Now it's in my frequent play list. Awesome song!!
What needs to be said is already known...Jenny Conlee-Drizos iis a treasure, and such a kind, pure, and sweet person and the same time a fiercely strong, shining, amazingly talented person. .one of my favorite people in this dimension ...truly one of the best examples we have to offer, should we have to present someone of the highest regard to represent humanity in order to demonstrate a reason that we should be spared ...she is easily our best and brightest hope I had no eyed deer what i was walking into last night...i left that Portland show a better man... Lighter in Body, Mind, and Spirit for finally, seeing the beauty and the elegance in dancing into the Abyss
They are coming to Phoenix in July. I wasn't sure if I should ($65) as I Haven't really dialed into them... Though I've heard of them, and I really like they're latest album... Watching this makes me want to see them at the venue they'll be playing at as it is a great sounding venue! Thanks for this really appreciate seeing this!!
I feel like my heart only has room for so much decemberists. I loved their first couple albums more than anything. But i was a kid then. Now im in my 30s. Maybe eventually this will sink in. Ill always love california one youth and beauty brigade
Good evening, if its possible. I am sure that this artist is very good, Deus abençoe, but could you bring Aldous Harding for one more presentation s'il vous plait
I love the fact that they look like the faculty at a progressive middle school.
Thanks for the laugh. Cheers.

This is the best Decemberist album. EVERY song is a banger and they're absolutely at the top of their game right now.
I LOVE the The Decemberists and especially Jenny Conlee-Drizos - on Keys and Accordion. She's a brilliant musician!!!
SPARKLE PONY!

They did the version of “Oh No!” with lyrics! 😜
Lol, I thought I was losing my mind the other day when the vocals disappeared off the tidal version of the track!

Thanks Decemberists!
One of the only bands who sound just as good or even better live than on the album🩵
Absolutely!
There's plenty of bands that sound just as good or better live. But you're right, they are one of them
They still sound great!

i'm thinking of getting a divorce so i can get remarried and have All I Want Is You for the first dance song
Yea I’m thinking about contracting fatal malaria just so I can have Burial Ground played at my funeral.
I’m just thinking in general
omg yas
Fuckin hell, they sound great. Here's hoping Lizzy Ellison sticks around. Her backing vocals add a lot. Perfect match to Colin's voice.
Totally agree!
❤
❤❤❤
Some of these songs are very Decemberist roots, but some also give off a Reverend Glass Eye vibe, which is very cool!
❤️🇧🇷
So cool he said the Beach Boys! I felt they were inspired by them. (Sloop John B).
I feel like my heart only has room for so much decemberists. I loved their first couple albums more than anything. But i was a kid then. Now im in my 30s. Maybe eventually this will sink in. Ill always love california one youth and beauty brigade
Midwest tour? I understand not going too far. I was on the road for twenty years, that's a lot of work in itself.
Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis, st. Louis? Not Midwest enough?
Good evening, if its possible.
I am sure that this artist is very good, Deus abençoe, but could you bring Aldous Harding for one more presentation s'il vous plait
Over the Garden Wall, season 2
The melody of oh no is the same as tom waits jockey full of bourbon
Band sounds great. Colin sounds great. I just don't care to hear any of these songs again
Sounds Celtic, though American.
Let's see some Lawrence. Audiotree got you beat by seven years. No Tiny Desk, either. The fuck?
I like the Decembrists very much. But I wish they would learn to spell ;-)
Not bad, band would be better with a different singer.
They've done pretty well with this singer for the last 24 years, and guess what he writes the songs deerrrp
no it wouldn't. hope this helps
Er Colin is what makes them so them. 😂😂
🤦♂️
