I am 2 weeks from having our 7th baby and I totally agree with all of your suggestions. For the most part with babies- less is more. Just get what you will actually use. They don’t need a ton of clothes either and I totally agree with zippers and not buttons. I do a changing station in my room and main part of the house and one seat in the main house for them to be set down in.
This is so helpful! I’m 15 weeks pregnant with our first baby so this list is so good to have of what we actually need. Thank you!
Happy to help and congratulations on the pregnancy!
Been waiting for a REAL must have list 🎉🎉
Hope this was helpful!
Pump suggestion- spectraS1 plus, it is hospital grade and portable, I have four kids, and tried several different kinds of pumps, this one is my favorite. It’s quiet, has a small light that you can use if needed and it’s pretty quiet. My youngest is still small so I’m still using my pump daily.
Spectra 100%!!! It was a life saver when I unexpectedly had a premie who physically didn’t have enough strength to breastfeed! Although I don’t consider much about pumping enjoyable, buying a PUMPING BRA** and the spectra was a game changer!
The Elvie pump was a life saver for me! Portable, sits right in your bra, quiet, and I personally found the force to be perfect.
My boss liked it for the ease of function at work, but in general she preferred a stronger one at home, pumping for twins.
Not a mother yet!! But I've heard alot about HaaKaa cup, it collects let-down milk while breastfeeding. Heard people say that it's a must have!
One like = one prayer for the third boy!
Prayers!! Haha May God bless their wonderful family. God bless you as well!! 💕🤗
@@FlourishInFaith thank you! you as well!
These tips are awesome. It is about getting what you want and thinking about it ahead of time.
😂😂😂😂😂the way Nate spoke about baby boy's hair😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like the name ends with an "in, en or un" since Oaky and Houlsty has an and on😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Flowing" lol. God bless you!!🙏💕
so good to hear everything is fine with the pregnancy with the baby is moving Glory to God!!!! the one I know in The Bible with very long hair was .........Samson.. sad that he was trapped by a evil woman Delilah....God bless you!!! 🙏❤️❤️
Pump suggestion: the Motif Duo! My baby was in the NICU for almost 3 weeks, so I had to pump before I could breastfeed. I found that it was far more comfortable and it removed the milk better then the Medela Symphony that the hospital had. It is about the size of a walkie talkie, does not need an outlet, the parts are easy to clean, and the battery lasts about a week for me! I absolutely love it.
Ah 13 weeks pregnant with our first babe, a BOY! love how practical this list is!! Just added the book you recommended to our registry! And the need for movement with sleep- never thought of that!!! Praise be for your placenta moving 🙌!! Thanks for sharing 💕!
Aw yay!! You will love the book! It is so helpful!
Thank God for answered prayers! Placenta previa is no joke. I saw another RUclipsr who had to have a C-section at 35 weeks because of that. Watching this at 24 weeks waiting for my baby shower
Praying for all of you! How exciting..a new baby soon! God is SOOO great!
Yes very excited! He’ll be here before we know it!
I'm almost 14 weeks pregnant with our first and I needed this!! Thank you! ❤
I’m currently pregnant with my second, and used the Spectra S1 pump the first time and liked it! Chargeable and I carried it with me and has a lot of force to play around with. It is a bit clunky to travel with but definitely nice to not have to plug in. I have heard people like the Elvie pump that fits in your bra/shirt but may not have as significant of a suction🤷🏻♀️
I absolutely love the elvie pump! It's discrete so you can pump in the store or driving etc
I heard you guys talk about Mom's On Call in a video I think when Halston was a baby. So I got the books when I was pregnant, my baby is now 10 weeks old and those books are amazing!! Thank you so much for telling us about them! I would have been so lost without them. I used the elvie pump I really like it. I thought the suction was good but I didn't use any other pump so I dont know how others work. It doesn't have lot of parts which is awesome and you can be pumping and walk around your house. We loved the ollie swaddle.
I’m glad it worked for you! We are definitely passionate about that book! It has been so helpful to us! And thank you so much for the suggestions!
10/10 recommend the Medela Freestyle! I love mine.
Our 3 babies never liked the pacifier either and I’m so thankful they didn’t because it wasn’t something we had to wean them off of. Great tips, and I agree on all accounts. Praying for you guys as you get ready to meet little guy soon! Can’t wait to find out his name ❤️
Yeah it’s so nice! And thank you so much! 💛
I have a Madela freestyle pump. It allows both a battery charge and wall charge. Thanks for all the tips, these were very helpful!
Hello Nate and Sutton , you are gems!!
Elvie was awesome and has different Suction options definitely recommend it
Great ideas. Not all babies are the same tho. My babies and grands all had swings & were great sleepers through the night very early.
Eeeee was praying a lot for your placenta! Happy for you guys God is good
Thank you so much for the prayers, that is so sweet! 😭
I heard the lansinoh hand help pump works great no long tubes or anything and even the haaka I have used it for both my baby’s but the cheaper Amazon brand and I like them 💕☺️
First of all thank you so much for your videos!!!
Also to Sutton I use the haakaa onthe opposite boob while nursing and it works really well! It also doesn't damage your boob like many other pumps. And you can bring it anywhere and it's very affordable. I was able to build up a stash just using the haakaa. Whether it was just 2 oz or 6....every lil bit counts!
Blessings on your labor and recovery!
you should get a cordless one like elvie. then you can pump while doing something else. you can walk around and do not have to hold anything in your hand. I just found out about it. Have not tried it but plan to buy a similar kind when I have my second baby.
The Ameda Mya is really great and cordless pump
May God bless you guys and your upcoming birth!
I was going to mention about the cordless pump, I used the Medela one with a cord and also wanted to try a cordless one. I just bought 1 Elvie pump because they are quite expensive and I tried it and it's nothing close to the Medela pump unfortunately. I pumped for 30 min and with the Elvie and got half of what the Medela would pump out. Just my experience, maybe you will find another cordless pump that works great for you so let us know :)
Momcozy is my #1 cordless choice. Amazing suction
Thank you!
You should try the spectra s2 pump!!! I belive that’s the one that you can recharge it is blue in color. It’s really great pump it has many different settings but the suction is great and it’s hospital grade. I think it’s a little cheaper than madella one
Great folks 👍 👏 👏👏👏👏
I know it sounds crazy but hand pumps are awesome and I found it so much faster and easier than any pump
Totally agree on the sleep thing! I think postpartum would be so much harder if the mother/baby are not getting good sleep. Such a game changer!! At least in my situation
Hey Guys,
Praying for a healthy rest of your pregnancy and delivery. Love y'all 💕
Thank you so much!
Babies tend to get rashes because they sit in moisture too long. Keep the bottom (butt) dry and change more often. There was a product called “butt paste” Try this as well.
Raw cow's milk or goat's milk is a great substitute for breast milk. Especially raw cow's milk because it has alot of nutrients found in breast milk.
That’s what we did for halston when I stopped breast-feeding was raw cow‘s milk!
Yeah good idea to have drawers under the changing pad so you don't have to turn away to get anything
My first baby didn't like the paci or breastfeeding. LOVED his bottle! My second baby loved breastfeeding and her paci and gave it up at 18 months. My third baby would pop the paci, hold it and then suck his thumb. He gave up thumb sucking at 3 years. Have you tried an Ollie Swaddle?
No we haven’t tried one of those but I see a couple of people suggesting that! We will have to try it!
Could you guys make a video about how will you educate your kids with so much propaganda at schools
That’s a good idea for a topic!
Pizza is my favorite too. I could eat it everyday. Sometimes do. 😊
Saaame!
1. Lots of freezer meals!
2. Baby bathtub to put across kitchen sink
3. Infant carseat
4. Diapers & wipes
5. Hired help few hrs a day if toddlers around and no family will help
6. Some babies may tolerate the swing
Then of course momma’s breasts and bed.
Ur now set for months n months!
I think I know maybe 3 or 4 people who swear up and down about the haakaa pump. Sometimes the simplest is the best.
Nate did not say "practically professionals"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Nate will be the end of me today 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂
Wish I knew the pram one earlier 🤰
With your history on having painful births what is the plan for this baby’s delivery? Will you go in early or? Just to avoid such pain and have an epidural and have a pain free birth.
Definitely going to try to get there early! Although it’s my last one I didn’t intentionally get there late. I left when they told me too but this time I am just going to leave when I think I should!
Dont have children, amd never will ,but i watched the whole video👌👌
😂
Please talk about the vaccine
that is so random?
Watch the documentary “It’s worse than you think” it talks about it in detail. Here is the link: m.ruclips.net/video/xrzOCkcD-IM/видео.html
My water broke at 14 weeks and my baby was born at 30 weeks.
What?? I have never heard of anything like that. Is your baby OK?
@@nateandsutton I hadn't either until it happened to us. Doctors wanted us to abort and didn't give us any help until I reached 24 weeks. They told us our baby's lungs 🫁 and kidneys wouldn't develop and that she could have maybe health issues. She was born at 3lb 1oz and she's completely healthy. She does catch colds easily tho she's thriving 🙌
