It’s the park we feel is most “skipable” but it is so highly themed that I always feel like I should try to enjoy it more. PS if you’re the one to go down that first drop backwards, you’re getting soaked! lol
We like animals so we always do the walk through attractions to see the gorillas and the tigers. We also like the safari ride. If you need to cool off in some a/c, go watch the festival of the Lion King show.
They used to have a scavenger hunt where you pay $7 and get a map and go hunt down things in Africa and you got magnets. Ask at a gift shop in Africa if they still have it. It made us slow down and appreciate all the details.

The Crocs you got are a type of Crocs called Crocbands. They're definitely not as soft as regular Crocs. They're actually pretty hard. Just so you know. I believe Jacob the Carpetbagger wears the Classic Clogs.
I came here to tell him the same thing. He would probably be happier with the ones that have the holes all the way around it including in the toes. Much more comfortable especially if your feet get wet.
I actually was curious to know if they were actually name brand Crocs?? They look like the "Crocsband" line, but I can't make out the logo that should be at the base of the straps. If they are knock-off Crocs, they won't be as comfortable. Real Crocs are made from a patented polymer that only they use. I hope Adam didn't get ripped off from one of those I-Drive gift shops... there are plenty of knock-offs out there.

That water ride is the design of my cousin! He first deployed it at heritage USA then he put it in circus circus the new part under the pink glass. Mikey had a sense of humor. He made you think you could steer that round tube NO! Fun video:)

He retired after that. He's gone now but every time a park puts that in his widow gets paid.
I designed some of the landscapes at the Anaheim location. I like the Orlando location better. So cool to see us Americans projects built and enjoyed. Disney is a high needs client with the most specialized specifications I've ever seen.
My husband and I went to Islands of Adventure for our 15th wedding anniversary ( 19 yrs ago), we rode the Popeye raft ride 15 times back to back. We were dripping all the way to the parking lot. 😆 best anniversary ever! ❤️
Grizzly River Run is a way superior raft ride over Kali Rapids. My only gripe with GRR is the lack of animatronics, but other then that, I love that ride.
I truly love AK!!! The beautiful greenery! Theming! Tree of Life ! The Safari! Rides like Kahi and Everest! Ahhh ...it's a favorite of mine for sure! Thanks for taking me along Adam!
I Love Animal Kingdom. Was there in 98 when it opened and it's always been special to me. I've still got a T-shirt even. I've always heard Walts words about the trees growing and it getting more beautiful each year. Very applicable to AK. Will always be a favourite. Adam it’s a ride about the destruction of the rain forests I believe. Animal kingdom is about conservation and animal and nature protection. Loved your video. Seeing you hold the phone freaked me out cause somehow I always end up going down backwards and getting soaked every single time!!!!
And you thought Splash Mountain was gone 😆 I haven’t ridden this since before 2020 myself - it’s nice - but only with a poncho 🌊 The theming of DAK is superb imo - to me, it’s the best park just to have a chill day at, especially when the weather is cooler, I love it at night, but the hours are not long enough! 🐒🦖🦁🐅🦌🦕🦒🦜🦓🦛🦧🐆🦍
Crocs take a little bit to get use too. My daughter gave me my first pair 3 years ago. Didn’t think I would like them. Now I have several pairs & wear them all the time. 😅 Thanks for the video Adam!

Just a note on how professional you are. You did what you could to not show the other riders’ faces as you pan around to show the ride. Nicely done! That is one ride I have not been on either. Maybe our next visit we can!
The thing about Crocs I find, at least for me, they run big! So I’m a size 13 in a shoe, but the size 12 in Crocs fit perfectly! My feet don’t slide around. 😎👍
We were at DW last week as well and yes, it was a zoo. My daughter's DAS pass was the only thing that saved us having a miserable time. We ended up having a ton of fun. My 8 year old is all about characters and they had plenty out, including Russell and Dug from Up which we were told just got brought back. We made sure to ride Dinosaur since it was likely our last time before they tear it down. It's horribly outdated and falling apart, but still fun to ride.
I love ride stops like the one you had on the river ride! Hear me out: - First, it’s good that safety systems are working properly and preventing issues/injuries 🙌 - Second, you wait so long in line to get on a ride, I appreciate being able to spend more time on the ride itself even if it’s not moving - Third you get time to relax and take in all the beautiful scenery around you, soak up the theming🙌
Crocs are definitely NOT tennis shoes, so they take time to adapt to. I didn’t like them at first, but my feet adjusted to them and now I can’t imagine not wearing them. 😎

I always wear my socks with crocs at Disney but take the socks off when it rains or when doing wet rides. My family constantly takes the mickey out of me for it but it’s way more comfortable 😊

Just got my first pair of Crocs a month ago.. they will get MUCH more comfortable once you wear them more. When you wear them more, they will form to fit your specific feet. i also wear socks with mine but they will get more comfortable with time,

I've never worn Crocs, but they don't look very comfortable. I'd rather carry an extra pair of sneakers 👟 than walk around all day in uncomfortable footwear! But I guess a lot of people think they are comfortable, so I'm not going to be anti-Croc! 😊 🐊
when I was in HS one of our band trips was up to LA to a museum and then to disney. they closed disney early for a movie premiere of one of the pirates movies. Anyways they let us finish off in California adventure. one of the guys in our group didn’t want to get wet so he held our bags as we rode it. we closed the ride down basically and got soaked riding it like three times. it was the best. we have a ride like that at San Diego seaworld too.
I learned that there are no more Mickey D's in Russia and you can buy horse meat at the grocery there. The blood of Kali and a river of lost phones! Wonderful themes!
Hey Adam, I am about 10 years older than u - always thought crocs were lame… they are the most comfortable shoes to wear all day… get some regular crocs - you won’t regret it…I wear them to the parks in CA everytime! Enjoy!

Suggest investigate ADDIDAS WATER SHOES. COMFORT HIGHEST PRIORITY

Are you talking about the Circus circus that was in Florida and the became Boardwalk and Baseball?
Can always take socks with you and take them off before the ride and put them back on after your feet dry.

Popeye’s and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges blows both of these away . You will not come off this ride dry unless you prepare

Wool socks could be an option for you. They are nice socks to wear when you know they are going to get wet. They make summer styles that aren't hot :)

Hey Adam, I am about 10 years older than u - always thought crocs were lame… they are the most comfortable shoes to wear all day… get some regular crocs - you won’t regret it…I wear them to the parks in CA everytime! Enjoy!

Last time I rode that water 💦 ride I never got wet but at least you was prepared for it with crocs and the go pro!
