Discovering SAPA Vietnam 2024 - Fansipan Mountain, Cat Cat, Moana & Eco Stay

- This week we journey to the mountain town of Sapa, located in Northern Vietnam we discover the stunning Vistas, from atop of Fansipan mountain. We visit the Local Cat Cat village and take in the beautiful valley views from Moana Sapa.
In this video we stay in a cozy Eco homestay in Ta Van village. We explore the lively streets of Sapa, then hop on the train to Fansipan mountain for breathtaking vistas from the cable car! 🏔️ Feel the chill as we ascend the final steps, passing by temples, and soaking in the beauty.
After a day of exploration, we savour local delicacies before resting up.The next day, waking up to valley views at our eco stay, we hop on a scooter to Moanasapa for pure serenity and Insta-worthy snapshots! 📸
We then dive into Cat Cat village, immersing in local culture, and marvelling at the waterfalls and valleys. All before Indulging in delicious ice cream and bidding farewell to this enchanting journey.

FYI The name Cat Cat came from the French word Cascade because there is a waterfall in that village . That name is not at all related to the feline animal . So don't look for cats there .

Love it!! Shame there were no cat cats. I think at a certain altitude your sense of taste changes.... "our perception of saltiness and sweetness drops by around 30 percent at high altitude" (according to google) maybe why you didnt enjoy the popcorn.... Xx
Oo interesting! we didn’t know that! It might be that but then we bought it at the train station before we went up and ate it throughout the day, even when we got back to our room at night and it was still rubbish 😂🙈

Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and the food vendors practiced safety and hygiene. Sad.

There are definitely areas that could improve in terms of cleanliness and food safety, but there are also many locals working hard to make things better. Supporting vendors who prioritize hygiene can really help. We always made sure to base our food decisions on positively reviewed venues whilst making sure to filter reviews by newest first!
