Found your carmex & deet blend video while researching how to stop insect triggers on outdoor security cams, which led me to this upload. 😊 Any reason why you've switched to deet only? How effective has the deet treatment been at stopping false triggers? Our cameras are plagued by gnats, moths, mosquitoes & my flat mate refuses to even turn on our outdoor cams bc she's incessantly interrupted by flying bug triggers at night, which also fill up cloud storage quickly. Also, i read somewhere that deet can degrade/dissolve plastics/synthetics over time. Any thoughts on this? Have you considered using picaridin rather than deet? Or permethrin?
