That vinyl frog is absolutely thrilled with its job.
It was a toss up between one of these without a frog and the CETME-L bayonet for me a couple weeks ago. I might go back and buy the STG57 bayonet if itβs still there.
The green frog is actually for the stg 90 bayonet,the stg57 was obsolete before it was adopted.

When i purchased my K31 i had to buy the mod. 1918 bayonet too
Remember paying UK Β£10 for mine which was even cheaper than a no4 pig sticker at the time "barking" !
is this rare? i got one today for 64usd
They are pretty common, but very nice. Some are rarer than others, depends on the manufacturers markings
