It's just easier to understand what I mean when I say Tolkien cause you instantly think of Orcs and Elves and such which are inherent to high fantasy so you don't have to wiki it to understand. ES is High Fantasy, that is for sure.
This song is awesome. It makes tons of references that many people won't catch. Oh, and when you referred to the Orsimer as Pariah, I felt a strong pride that I could tell you were using their old name. Before their Patron was consumed, and before they were changed and looked down upon. In a time when they were seen as brothers to the High Elves of the Summerset Isles.
That was beautiful, inspires me the same way those old WoW raps used to, but this song was so much more awesome. Would recommend, hope to hear more in the future.

Different types of armor are better at blocking different weapons. And no matter what armor you are wearing you must make some sacrifices in favor of mobility. I was only able to see two of the knives land, and they did hit the empty space, so we can assume the Breton just has unnaturally good aim. Of course, though the face shot I counted is fine, the shoulder-shot wouldn't have dropped anyone that fast, so we must also assume the knives are enchanted.
Am I the only one who thinks that this game is not nearly as bad as everyone says it is? it certainly has faults but everytime I have played it I have fun and I play it alot, is that not what games are supposed to do?

It is not supposed to be skyrim, although skyrim was an AMAZING game it was actually quite different from the rest of the elderscrolls series, major differences are: Dragons No guilds Imperials are not the good guys Many addons in the lore with all of the nord heroes and dragons and how it ties into the divines and the dragonborn There is alot more controversy in skyrim ranging from the stormcloaks being rather racist and the empire cowering and whoring themselves out for money. Most elder scrolls games don't have that much controversy and are as simple as "Daedra bad, you good" Alot more polished, in the other elder scrolls games you would have to be a fairly dedicated fan to give enough of crap to even bother understanding them. Skyrim is very polished, dumbed down, and changed to be better for mainstream audiences. Anyway, The Elder Scrolls Online is not skyrim, not in the slightest but it is quite a good game. In my opinion if you are dedicated enough player to get up past level 10, maybe to level 20 you will either see that it is pretty good, or you will have a proper reason to dislike it.
+Ahzidal it's just that it had SOOOO much potential!!! Imagine an Elder Scrolls where it is an MMO but with Skyrim combat!!! Not WoW knockoff combat. Also the exploration is not very fun. I just really wanted the story to inter grate the war for the ruby throne into it. Plus to remove Microtramsactions and have better loot plus the ability to fight for The Empire and defend Cyrodiil.

Daniel Jones Actually, since it's pretty agreeable that human provinces are getting boring, I think I read somewhere that the Akivir province got overran by the beasts living there. I think it'd be a pretty cool concept for you to play as some of the factions (Imperial, Aldimeri Dominion, etc.) that want the place or someone that's like a frontiersman that's trying to settle the land.
zigzag11875 Akivir is actually run by beast mer similar to the Khajiit, not like animal beasts. Also I think the Akivir themselves are still there, giant vampiric snake people, so I think frontiersmen wouldn't last too long and the entire place would be hostile to the player if they came from Tamriel.

"White gold, burning sky" is for Cyrodiil. The White Gold Tower is in the Imperial City, and the burning sky for the invasion. ESO takes place long before the White Gold Concordat, so that line is either referring to the tower or the alcohol.

Say Gavin, it's probably a bit much to ask for, but is there a chance you will make a song about (one of) the individual aliances in game? I really liked the references in this song, but I feel that they can be worked out more.
Although I hope that the people who get this game enjoy it I can't help but feel repulsed by the idea of an Elder Scrolls MMO. What would be much better is an Elder Scrolls game in the main series with drop-in/drop-out multiplayer for a maximum of five people. Take a moment and imagine how awesome it would have been if Skyrim had a feature like that. Just dropping into your friend's game or vice versa as your character from your own game. And it wouldn't have been one of those multi-player modes where you have to stick together. You could all walk off in different directions (although that would be quite boring). I'm getting shivers of joy just imagining it!
Man, that would've been great. Skyrim would have been the perfect candidate for that, it being open-world and first-person without cutscenes and everything. Also, it didn't take up that much processing power, other than the norm for games. Hopefully we can see something like that in future games. TESO seems good in that fact that you can travel between all the provinces, rather than just one, such as Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim.

I love this game i dont get it why it gets so much hate. More then 80% of the haters watched Angry joe or something like that. I watched/liked Angry joe as well but after a couple of reviews i unsubscribed him. The game is much better now no quests bugs smooth game engine. Except Cyrodil that is some time not good. But the game is so awesome please try it out once and dont join the big youtuberse who says it sucks.

It is not only the bugs and rushed release that pissed us off Brandon. They blatantly screwed us all over with the ESO launch. It is one thing to have a buggy game that is potentially unforeseeable but to blatantly turn us into cash cows and withholding important Elder Scrolls content? What is Elder scrolls without the Imperials? They really are the heart of Elder scrolls. To do this with a collectors edition price AND a sub model is unheard of really. Consoles were snubbed completely despite selling tens of millions of copies Skyrim. Where is the love for massive console support right? They went too far and thus payed the price for pissing off loyal fans. People are so angry because we did trust them and expected integrity out of them. When they screwed us over they went from being the holy grail of gaming to EA and Activision combined. They were so greedy come release that they put even EA to shame. To put things into perspective Skyrim is one of the highest selling console and PC games to date and considered most loved. You screw us over with a name like that you are bound to cop a mountain of venom to the knee. -.- Yeah i just said that. This is what being a fan of ES reduces you to. >.>
SamWinchester11 I still enjoy and is steadily getting better but I do agree the launch was immensely bad and the prices for the mounts in game is FUCKING ridiculous but luckily update 6 is coming along with he crown store and I know what you will be saying about pay-to-win but I have seen the pay-to-win elements in the Crown store and the potions and gems in the store are honestly not that good in comparison to in game potions the rest is just vanity items as well as mounts and the way to get crown coins is monthly with the same subscription model as before but is optional and only gives a ten percent boost in gold and xp gain which frankly is not that much.
President_Sheogorath They appear to be copying the successful DC universe model. Whether that is good or bad for ESO remains to be seen. I had hoped they would learn from their mistake at launch on PC and they have in part. I am annoyed to learn that they still haven't dropped the whole Imperial for Imperial edition garbage. I inquired at my local store what changes they made to attempt to gain a little respect back from ES fans with the console edition and i wasn't all that impressed. They removed the sub fee which is only fair considering how poorly they treated console owners. Apparently they have the scuttler and horse on all region editions. The part that annoyed me was the fact Imperials were still cut out and hidden behind a fee and ironically such copies are now sold out worldwide. Sorry console kids no Imperials which has always been my race of choice building a Ezio like character. (see Ezio Skyrim character build) Do i need to buy Imperials for every new Skyrim game from now on? Or will another vital race be withheld? I don't like where that greed is headed. I have decided i will buy the console version to see if they have learnt from all the in game mistakes as well with the new launch. If they have i will consider keeping it and playing both versions after all it is no sub fee. If not then i am going back for a full refund and wiping my hands of ESO for good. They got one last chance to earn back my respect.

I just bought the imperial edition of this game after getting rid of it a year ago. And I have to say that my love for ESO has returned. Long live the Queen and the Aldmeri Dominion!
People are happier now that ESO went back to their ES roots of NOT stuffing loyal fans around. We trusted them to produce a quality title because of past games setting a good example. Having a good name is worth more than any cash grab. It means they are virtually guaranteed loyal purchases and massive fan publicity despite possibly poor reviews. Once you cash out on that good name you ruin that good name fans see in you and thus forfeit all trust purchases and fan publicity in the future. I am personally pissed to see so many good names (Mass Effect and Destiny cough) cash in for quick Moolah just because others do it out of greed. Ultimately you would make more in the long term maintaining that trust and integrity. Zenimax has a lot to answer for when the next game comes to help rebuild that trust again.

And we see how much good that armor does them.
it's not their fault, the Breton just used blade of woe on them and got the throwing animation.
Different types of armor are better at blocking different weapons. And no matter what armor you are wearing you must make some sacrifices in favor of mobility. I was only able to see two of the knives land, and they did hit the empty space, so we can assume the Breton just has unnaturally good aim. Of course, though the face shot I counted is fine, the shoulder-shot wouldn't have dropped anyone that fast, so we must also assume the knives are enchanted.

It is not supposed to be skyrim, although skyrim was an AMAZING game it was actually quite different from the rest of the elderscrolls series, major differences are:
Dragons
No guilds
Imperials are not the good guys
Many addons in the lore with all of the nord heroes and dragons and how it ties into the divines and the dragonborn
There is alot more controversy in skyrim ranging from the stormcloaks being rather racist and the empire cowering and whoring themselves out for money. Most elder scrolls games don't have that much controversy and are as simple as "Daedra bad, you good"
Alot more polished, in the other elder scrolls games you would have to be a fairly dedicated fan to give enough of crap to even bother understanding them. Skyrim is very polished, dumbed down, and changed to be better for mainstream audiences.
Anyway, The Elder Scrolls Online is not skyrim, not in the slightest but it is quite a good game. In my opinion if you are dedicated enough player to get up past level 10, maybe to level 20 you will either see that it is pretty good, or you will have a proper reason to dislike it.

I just really wanted the story to inter grate the war for the ruby throne into it. Plus to remove Microtramsactions and have better loot plus the ability to fight for The Empire and defend Cyrodiil.

Daniel Jones I think the next Elder Scrolls game could be in more than one province. No like the online, because a lot of detail would be loss. Maybe 5 provinces. I was thinking about morrowind, skyrim, black marsh, high rock and Orlisium(or maybe hammerfell in place of some of these). The next gen consoles can surely run it. Wgat do you think?
Daniel Jones Actually, since it's pretty agreeable that human provinces are getting boring, I think I read somewhere that the Akivir province got overran by the beasts living there. I think it'd be a pretty cool concept for you to play as some of the factions (Imperial, Aldimeri Dominion, etc.) that want the place or someone that's like a frontiersman that's trying to settle the land.
zigzag11875 Akivir is actually run by beast mer similar to the Khajiit, not like animal beasts. Also I think the Akivir themselves are still there, giant vampiric snake people, so I think frontiersmen wouldn't last too long and the entire place would be hostile to the player if they came from Tamriel.

The "Pariahs of yore" line refers to the Orsimer, since their name literally means 'Pariah Folk'.
"White gold, burning sky" is for Cyrodiil. The White Gold Tower is in the Imperial City, and the burning sky for the invasion. ESO takes place long before the White Gold Concordat, so that line is either referring to the tower or the alcohol.

Although I hope that the people who get this game enjoy it I can't help but feel repulsed by the idea of an Elder Scrolls MMO. What would be much better is an Elder Scrolls game in the main series with drop-in/drop-out multiplayer for a maximum of five people. Take a moment and imagine how awesome it would have been if Skyrim had a feature like that. Just dropping into your friend's game or vice versa as your character from your own game. And it wouldn't have been one of those multi-player modes where you have to stick together. You could all walk off in different directions (although that would be quite boring). I'm getting shivers of joy just imagining it!
Man, that would've been great. Skyrim would have been the perfect candidate for that, it being open-world and first-person without cutscenes and everything. Also, it didn't take up that much processing power, other than the norm for games. Hopefully we can see something like that in future games. TESO seems good in that fact that you can travel between all the provinces, rather than just one, such as Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim.
Exactly my thoughts, I think dozends of People jumping around and writing stupid stuff in the Chat aren't really that immersive. Also, there is actually an Online Mod for Skyrim, but it is not really far developed.

the leather on the fingers make it actually easier tried it with a pair of of gauntlets I took from a suit of armor I bought off eBay for 1200$
The guy simply has a bard skill of 100 (ones you reach master level, gauntlets and gloves will no longer hinder you while playing instruments) XD

ppl judge this game too harshly, IMO (IN MY OPINION, NOT A FACT, NO FLAME WARS!!!!) i mean they rushed it to release, that's true, and maybe they can add a bit more intensity to the deadric invasions, but all this goes back to the simple fact; it's unfinished. And i hate when ppl flame the small bugs like lag and shit. its an mmo, its gonna have bugs, and zenimax is fixing these (i hope :\) but other than that, there's no reason to hate the game, well i salute those who love the game because they can look past all of these flaws and focus on what makes the game fun and not what makes it bad :) thank you for reading, Pruzah sul!

It is not only the bugs and rushed release that pissed us off Brandon. They blatantly screwed us all over with the ESO launch. It is one thing to have a buggy game that is potentially unforeseeable but to blatantly turn us into cash cows and withholding important Elder Scrolls content? What is Elder scrolls without the Imperials? They really are the heart of Elder scrolls. To do this with a collectors edition price AND a sub model is unheard of really. Consoles were snubbed completely despite selling tens of millions of copies Skyrim. Where is the love for massive console support right?
They went too far and thus payed the price for pissing off loyal fans. People are so angry because we did trust them and expected integrity out of them. When they screwed us over they went from being the holy grail of gaming to EA and Activision combined. They were so greedy come release that they put even EA to shame. To put things into perspective Skyrim is one of the highest selling console and PC games to date and considered most loved. You screw us over with a name like that you are bound to cop a mountain of venom to the knee. -.- Yeah i just said that. This is what being a fan of ES reduces you to. >.>
SamWinchester11 I still enjoy and is steadily getting better but I do agree the launch was immensely bad and the prices for the mounts in game is FUCKING ridiculous but luckily update 6 is coming along with he crown store and I know what you will be saying about pay-to-win but I have seen the pay-to-win elements in the Crown store and the potions and gems in the store are honestly not that good in comparison to in game potions the rest is just vanity items as well as mounts and the way to get crown coins is monthly with the same subscription model as before but is optional and only gives a ten percent boost in gold and xp gain which frankly is not that much.
President_Sheogorath They appear to be copying the successful DC universe model. Whether that is good or bad for ESO remains to be seen. I had hoped they would learn from their mistake at launch on PC and they have in part.
I am annoyed to learn that they still haven't dropped the whole Imperial for Imperial edition garbage. I inquired at my local store what changes they made to attempt to gain a little respect back from ES fans with the console edition and i wasn't all that impressed.
They removed the sub fee which is only fair considering how poorly they treated console owners. Apparently they have the scuttler and horse on all region editions. The part that annoyed me was the fact Imperials were still cut out and hidden behind a fee and ironically such copies are now sold out worldwide.
Sorry console kids no Imperials which has always been my race of choice building a Ezio like character. (see Ezio Skyrim character build) Do i need to buy Imperials for every new Skyrim game from now on? Or will another vital race be withheld? I don't like where that greed is headed.
I have decided i will buy the console version to see if they have learnt from all the in game mistakes as well with the new launch. If they have i will consider keeping it and playing both versions after all it is no sub fee. If not then i am going back for a full refund and wiping my hands of ESO for good. They got one last chance to earn back my respect.

People are happier now that ESO went back to their ES roots of NOT stuffing loyal fans around. We trusted them to produce a quality title because of past games setting a good example. Having a good name is worth more than any cash grab. It means they are virtually guaranteed loyal purchases and massive fan publicity despite possibly poor reviews. Once you cash out on that good name you ruin that good name fans see in you and thus forfeit all trust purchases and fan publicity in the future.
I am personally pissed to see so many good names (Mass Effect and Destiny cough) cash in for quick Moolah just because others do it out of greed. Ultimately you would make more in the long term maintaining that trust and integrity. Zenimax has a lot to answer for when the next game comes to help rebuild that trust again.
