0:12 That's amazing; I have the same Fluke meter, over 40 years old, works great!

Nice video presentation on conducted emissions. Looking on the emissions, best also to demonstrate the source of noise or the fundamental frequency which produce those harmonics which is actually around 100kHz (SMPS switching frequency). Knowing the fundamentamal frequency, engineers would able to effectively design the differential common-mode filter of its 3dB cut-off frequency and expected Attenuation or emission suppression. Also best to mention correction factors e.g. Transient Limter which has an attenuation of 10dB and LISN of around 0.5dB plus cable loss between the LISN and EMI receiver which you've added into your transducer. Viewer doesn't know that and they might expect the measurement is straight forward. LISN has to be placed on top of ground plane bonded to earth. If the EUT has grounding provision, additional ground braid has to be connected between the EUT and LISN front grounding terminal. I suppose you deliberately removed the missing common-mode filter on the SMPS PCB for demonstration purposes as normally most SMPS already have mains filter. Just subscribed and I found your channel very informative. Cheers, ECErcuit

    Thank you for presentation!
Real experiments in presentation are always exceptional!
Idea for next presentation could be to comment increased resonance around 20MHz as the common monde choke was applied. ;-)
