Straight to the point great information. I love it you got a thumbs up from me
Thanks for the positive feedback! Always appreciated
The ESP 32 has a two core processor! So, you can do TWO things at once. There are a few more things that make it far, far superior to the other MPs. But, all in all I enjoyed your video.
💪
It's true that Raspberry Pi can have a proper operating system and serve as a computer, but it can also serve as a micro-controller, or both. There's lots of pins to attach sensors too and other electronics. You can run python Arduino, C, etc. on it to control the electronics and/or whatever else. I like to think of ESP32, etc. as the assistants to my Pi's and Windows computers.
Excellent view point. Agree with you on the function. It would just be an expensive micro controller if you choose to use it for that purpose
Very helpful; thank you.
You’re most welcome :)
Thank you for your video sir very helpful ❤
So glad to hear!
What a fantastic video and explanation!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. When are you going to start coding?
thank you for the clarifications on these components
You are most welcome. Which of the devices brought you over to my channel?
I have ZERO exp. I am looking at building an ambitious project that will use RPI as the overarching controller, with either arduino, or ESP32 to control multiple components. @@RevengersHammer
Glad that you got interested in electronics and programming as a hobby. Do you have any cool projects to share on YT ?
Working on a pocket-desktop next. Will do that video in due course 😃
Thanks, great comparison!
Glad it was helpful!
you can use esp32 as a very good emulator. There are also some very good graphics libraries on the esp32 like fabgl for graphics programming and making games. Is an interesting area to get into.
What emulations have you run on ESP32? I’ve only tested RetroPi thus far on my Pi3b+
@@RevengersHammer you can emulate for example ancient computers like bbc and then program the fabgl using things like that. I believe snes can be emulated as well as other older 8 bit computers
8-bit gaming! You’re a true retro gaming fan 😎
Thanx for your info! Very useful! You asked to mention a wanted purpose. My wish is to build a polyphonic synthesizer! Greetings from the Netherlands
That is an awesome use! Please connect on Twitter and share your project with me. I’d love to see it! Greetings to you from South Africa. I loved my stay in Netherlands back in 2016, I will definitely return at some point.
Which one is best for robotics??
Raspberry Pi for complex robotics, Arduino/ESP for simple robotics
Great informations. Thank you. 😊
Glad that you found the video worthwhile
You sound South African? Awesome video by the way!
Thanks Wian! And yes SA, good observation.
Great video!!
Thanks so much Robert!
Please update this for 2350 ££££. Noone has done this yet.
I will definitely keep this in mind
If i could i would give this video two likes.
What an epic thing to say, thank you!
Hi bro can we use them in realtime i means can i develop product with them and sell will they go for long time 24/7
Yea you definitely can. Not much heat is generated so it can last 24/7 for a long time to come
you left out literally the best and most powerful microcontroller... Teensy 4.1
It’s not so popular here in South Africa, and it’s about 5 times the price in our markets. It’s priced closer to a RPi (second hand) but at a fraction of the computational power. To each their own I guess
@@RevengersHammer I hear ya. All good choices.
you should consider the pi zero too 😅
Didn’t have stock at the time when I recorded the video 😂
👍
