They can’t Keep doing this to us..NOT TALOS😭😭😭
THEY CANT STOP TAKING PEOPLE AWAY FROM US😭😭😭
I swear on crack if Nick Fury is next I'm gonna go to Marvel Studios and stop their movies and tv shows forever and by that I mean cancelled
Naw let it happen. These channels' theories and guesses be better than what really happens in the mcu. No Tom cruise variant, no guardian died, no x men yet. In all the yrs the only shocking thing was all the spider man's. Go bigger mcu
@@theryanreynoldsfan3674I don’t think they will kill him because he was in the marvel’s trailer
Hopefully they'll inject him with what his daughter took and bring Hill and Talos back
Can we talk about how the SAS soldiers immedietly identified Fury as the person in command and immedietly line up in a wall to cover him moving to the Stagecoach, despite him now officially having been fired. Thats respect thats earned right there.
Also, isn't Fury a war veteran?
He wasn't actually fired tho... Skrull Rhodey tells Fury's wife that he acted alone in firing him
He specifically says the President didn't request/order the firing during the church scene
I definitely noticed that
They might have knowledge from Sonya about who he is.
Which is probably what makes it all the more painful when Gravik impersonates one of them to get up close to Talos and kill him.
This episode had some great writing. And I love that it wasn't afraid to get violent when it wanted to. The half and half face of Talos was really cool aswell.
Yeah the VFX wasn’t bad
Talos' sacrifice along with Fury leaving him behind are a callback to what he told G'iah his plan was. Talos continuing to rescue the President despite showing his "true skin" gave people an opportunity to see that there's a faction of his people with a good heart. I believe that is also partly why Fury left him, not only does it make everyone else aware that Skrulls are real, but also allows those to see Talos' sacrifice to tell of it as well.
Ngl you cooking🔥🔥🔥
Gud thinking🫡
Blud who told you to cook like that 🫡
I needed this to understand what the hell Fury was thinking leaving Talos behind
eh wasn't there a bunch of skrulls on gravik's team that were shot? shouldn't they turn back to skrull form immediately when they died and people would be aware of skrulls anyway? as for talos, there was only really that one soldier who pay attention to talos rescuing the president, everybody else was pretty busy staying alive, and Idk if people would take the words of one solider. the president wasn't even conscious at the time to know that he was saved by talos.
This was such an amazing and sad episode, I hope talos isn't actually gone. The look on Fury's face as he lost one of his best and longest friends was heartbreaking. I can't wait for the next one.
He is but it’s to build character for Giah
@@babynino9224I would agree with that
Yea such a good friend that he didn’t go back 20 feet for him 😂😂😂
I hope he is. There are never any consequences.
@@Anonymous3.you say that but the main characters who have died in the mcu for the most part haven’t come back yet soo
Fury calling his wife his "greatest mistake" was disrespectfully romantic.

It wasn’t as shocking for me that Rhodey was a skrull, but a female skull?! That’s definitely what got me! 😂
Yeah thought that was Gi'ah... Got me at the first half excited for Emilia Clarke Skrull after shower only to know he is Skrodhey lol
The sassiness that he was giving off should've made it obvious, but I never could've guessed they'd make him a female skrull
@@goat9295 right? Watching the previous episodes, I was wondering why Rhodey suddenly has a big attitude especially towards someone like Fury
i mean, we have seen talos, a male skrull, impersonate a female human surfer in captain marvel, so...
They're shapeshifters. What's weird at all about it?
Real talk, this was a sad episode. The silence after the kitchen table shots was beautiful!
I think that Rhodey has been a Skrull since shortly after endgame. I believe that's why he no longer requires leg braces. He went from not being able to walk without them in endgame, to move just fine in Falcon/Winter soldier.
Conversations between Fury and Rhodey are always a delight to watch
Nothing like Negro vernacular huh?
Nicks face when he see gravik healing sets up the terror so perfectly my only complaint is that the episode are getting shorter as we moved in.
IKR? Seems like episode 6 is just gonna be a trailer for Avengers Secret Wars lmao
Well I mean this was probably originally supposed to be a movie so it kinda makes sense.
OP is a Skrull. No one calls Fury “Nick”
@@MrAngeriuswhat's secret wars got to do with this? Given that it is a multiversal event
Grammer
It's also noteworthy to point out that it was Talos who saved the President; which gives the scrulls a bargaining chip like he spoke to Gia about
Kevin Hart probably sitting home watching the series saying "Daym, Don looks old" 😂
💀
BOOM WE WEREN'T LOOKING FOR THAT!!!!
We had a feeling that Rhodey would be a Skrull but being swapped by a female Skrull was very surprising. That moment in the church really set that off me cause for Don Cheadle adding that feminine acting to his role made the twist work.
I don't want to give my hopes up on Talos yet cause we're down to two episodes but to see him die really hurt my soul.
I don't see him returning from this. There was no way for him to be able to get to the machine to get powers and if he did have them he could have broken the window easier. Sadly this is likely the end of Talos
@@lightdarksoul2097 I swear Marvel be pissing me off when it comes to killing off characters 🤦♂️
@@YRG_JRNahh they’ve been too safe these past few years. Ever since endgame they haven’t been taking the risks of letting main players in the MCU bite the dust. With Talos and even Maria mf Hill catching bullets, nobody is safe.
@@YRG_JRome people don’t want to play the roles anymore (Cap, RDJ, ScarJo, etc.) and some are getting quite a bit older. They have to let them go somehow.
@@IffyWilliamsendgame? Pfff cap should’ve died back in civil war 😂
Gravik had such an easy shot on both the President and Fury, yet he didn't do anything until Fury turned to face him.
Same logic most villians have when they want to monologue 😂
If I'm gravik I'm not trying to kill the president, I want his memories for his replacement and myself so I kidnap him instead.
His vendetta against Fury is really going to be his downfall. He’d rather destroy Fury and kill everyone he loves, than actually do what he claims he wants and make a home for his people.
Yea it’s called shifty writing
Gravik doesn't kill the president because he wants him alive, so he can extract his memories and become become the president.
He also doesn't kill Fury directly because he's pissed at Fury, so he kills Fury's best friend
Thanos’ post snap garden planet is a great idea for the Skrulls. It’s something the MCU should address if they don’t use that option. I also appreciate G’iah obtaining the Extremis abilities, something closest to Abigail Brand.
@@the_0racle it's maybe because Carol danvers scanned the whole planet and said there's no one there except for thanos

The bullet more than likely fragmented because Fury shot Gravik in the jaw. So the bullet hit the bone, kept up enough momentum to tear through his face, but a tiny piece flaked off, up through the cheek and hit his ear.
I commented nearly the same thing and then saw your reply. Yep.
@@russellcowart Great minds(who know about firearms) think alike it seems.
I was just about to say the same haha
I'd like to think thathe turned away a little, in order to brace himself against the bullet.
...the bone fragments.
The look on Fury’s face tells me that Talos is really gone. That was pain, and it was clear on his face long after Gravik was gone, so I doubt it was an act for his benefit.
also we Literally just did the got shot at the end of the episode but not really dead thing. They can't pull the exact same thing 2 episodes in a row
@@west3Dgaming Exactly that’s facts. It’s a shame but yes Talo’s may really be dead
Only a Skrull would’ve came up with the joke, “boom you looking for this?!” 😂
@@the_0raclenah it makes sense 😂
@@the_0raclehow do you know ?
Cuz Rhodey was hurt.... when he fell in his suit when they pass out t they turn back into skrull form and Rhodey was passed out on CACW
@@richoffmaelingbecause why would rhodey cry over tony dying if hes just a skrull? It both, makes no sense in universe and would completely ruin the emotional moments in endgame.
@@richoffmaelingseriously? Because first of all they only started the invasion after fury came back and second of all when he was unconscious and paralyzed he never turned back
Rhodey waking up ,and finding out that Tony died ,and that his technology has fallen into the wrong hand is such a good premise for armor wars.
I think rhodey was captured after the endgame
Yeah that would take some feeling off the death if Rhodey isn't there to say goodbye to his best friend
Rhodes was captured after endgame
I think Rhodey was captured during around Wakanda Forever, same time as everet Ross.
But then that would ruin his character in infinity war and endgame
Fury’s gun is a Smith and Wesson M&P9. Priscilla’s gun is a Glock 17.
I came looking for another gun person
Not a gun person at all, but even I could see those were different models...
That’s exactly the reason I’m looking through the comments, to see if anyone else caught that.
@@BrandonRice-hy5owsame lol
Haha posted nope a Glock! Glad more than me noticed!
I did not have fury getting his heart broken on my secret invasion bingo card. But I’m glad they are giving his backstory some substance. And that scene was so sad. I hadn’t realized how messed up the situation was until you mentioned it though… impersonating someone to get in his pants basically.
It was cool to see that no matter the position, and power was stripped away from fury. Fury is fury he just had to say one line for the military to not shoot at an alien trying to break into the car with the president.
He’s got that authoritative BDE 😅
Yeah I was kind of surprised he de-escalated that so quickly.
Yeah same thing with Cap, Wolverines the type of hero where he's a very big lone wolf but in the comics if Steve tells Logan to do something Logan won't think twice and no questions asked for him
Maybe next episode starts with them showing backstory on how Rhodey got captured
I’m going to guess that he got taken on a mission he first took on as the Foreign Secretary. I’m going to guess they threatened Rhodey by forcing him to go into a pod or else they kill hundreds in Russia (which they do anyway).
That would be a good idea, instead of rushing it for the last episode
@@FaustainedI think that that would be saved for the coming Rhodey movie
I think Rhode just became a Skrull and they have him in one those pods like the others he going to be saved by the end of the season
That’s what I’m thinking as well cause there’s no way he’s been a skrull the whole time in the mcu it would have to be after endgame maybe even a few months before fury came back or at most a year or two
He is definitely still alive.
They still need Rhodey for Armor Wars, considering he will be starring in it.
They got him sometime after falcon and winter soldier take place I assume.
@@shanedbunting i think it just happened because I think Marvel is not going to take away that sad moment of seeing his best friend Tony dying in End Game
If it’s true that he’s been a skrull the whole time, it’s going to be very weird when armor wars come out lol
I love how you fact checked Rody about the Undertaker 😂😂
Fantastic episode... just wanted to throw out though that the gun Varra uses is a Glock (probably the Glock 17), not the S&W MP 9. Hill and Natasha also are using Glocks in the clips you showed. Fury is using a S&W MP 9.
I think skrull Rhodey has different intentions than Gravik.
Gravik had several opportunities to kill Fury directly but is actually opting to kill those close to him and making sure that he knows that it's him Gravik killing them.
Skrull Rhodes wants Fury killed.
It seems like there is splinter group within the skrulls.
The trailers kept saying that only Fury knows where something they want is. Gravik wants that information, which is likely Steve Rodgers' location to complete his super Skrull to keep everyone else in line. Rhodey is either part of a faction trying to avoid Fury giving the location or doesn't know about Graik's plans and killing Fury is for personal reasons.
It seems that with the unfortunate events involving the death of Maria Hill, the disappearance of the real Rhodey, and the Avengers going their separate ways, along with the subsequent loss of Talos himself, there is a strong possibility that Nick Fury will feel compelled to summon the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a forthcoming episode to confront the threat posed by Gravik.
Gravik vs Quake? Yes, please!
Not gonna happen
You should totally keep your hopes down.
You'll be upset if they dont...
If they do, you'll be surprised and happy.

10:22 absolutely not an M&P 9. Thats a Glock.
Pretty sure it changes from a 17 to a 26 from episode 3 to 4 as well.
Lol I was just gonna comment that obviously a glock
Fury looks to have an M&P but this I definitely a G17 turned into G23 😂
To be fair, the Undertaker reference was probably more so referencing the iconic Hell In The Cell moment where he threw Mankind (Mick Foley) off the top of the cell. INCREDIBLY famous pop-culture moment even a Skrull would have seen replayed on television over the years.
I yelled out loud when G'iah ascended from the dead like a boss!🤙🏾

had me STRESSING
DC is such an amazing actor. That slight change in delivery this episode was perfect.
1) Pappy Van Winkle is doing a little product placement 2) Talos isn't dead. His daughter is going to come on his body and take him to become a Super Skrull so he can heal (ala The Last Crusade) & 3) Talos will have a moment with Fury where he says "You said you would come back for me". - I hope I'm wrong and can still be surprised.
I don’t want to believe Talos is dead😭
Talos told Gia that they needed to gain the trust of people like Ridson. The fact that Talos died saving Ridson will probably be a key part of that.
Interestingly, the conversation between Fury and his wife is a very common one in relationships when one or the other hides something they are doing - particularly something involving crime or sex work… although a lot of military veterans also don’t talk about their service and their PTSD with their spouses for similar reasons. While the lies and secrets often kill the relationship, there is always a question about whether there would have been a relationship at all if they had been upfront about everything. That “we’ll never know” was profound.
If Nick Fury & Carol Danvers are trying to help find an empty planet for the Skrulls, why not Thanos' Garden?
I was thinking the same thing but it has to be far away from the Kree empire too... idk why it would be so hard to find a planet.
@@robertoconnell8153 Yeah, we don't know exactly if The Garden is far from Kree or not, even tho I'm sure at that point in time, Kree Empire also blipped half the population, making its possible for the Skrulls to inhabited the Garden to not worry about immediate invasions
During the with Skrhodey and Fury, skhodey say that if fury doesn’t leave, that they’ll have him defenestrated, which I feel could be a reference to Mace Windu in Star Wars: Episode III. While the word does have another meaning, I can’t be the only one who caught that.
Tbh I had no idea what that meant
@@devonbriney”Defenestrate” means “throw out of a window.”
Who is complaining about this series? It’s awesome!
it was so weird having a full mcu action sequence without any powers (besides a quick groot arm)
I am groot.
There were powers. WORLD POWERS.
I think it’s super cool that you’ve started shouting out the writers
The best part of this was the Secret Service just rolling with fury showing up out of nowhere with a shapeshifting alien no one’s ever seen before. “he’s with me“ 😂
As a massive wrestling fan, I took the undertaker top rope reference as undertakers “old school” move where he walks the top rope. I agree though taker doesn’t do a top rope DDT
I’m saying
Yeah I don't think that I've ever seen anyone do a top rope DDT. That could break a neck for real. Then again maybe that's just what Skrhodey wants to do to Fury.
Anyone else frustrated it was only a 34 minute episode this week?
Fr it ended and I was like “what?”
Why only 1 a week

The cgi was abit wonky on the Groot.
This is probably some of the best marvel television ive seen since defenders saga. Solid B+ so far. (I feel like they shouldve started w short episodes and extended the runtime deeper into the season though.)
But be grateful bc this is probably some of the best writing n acting were gonna see for a while w this writer & actor strike.
Episode 4 is always CRAZY!!
Can I just say I find it funny Gravik is freely exposing himself as a Skrull and still some how changes into a soldier.
Being a huge fan of his Captain Planet skit, I just love how Don Cheadle plays evil Rhodey
The ear damage on Gravik is probably from bone shrapnel, as the bullet went through his cheekbone with such force (and Fury's bullets seem to pack an absurd punch since he downed 2-3 armored enemies with bodyshots) that bone exploded and hurt Gravik a bit more!
Nobody gonna talk about how Gravik stabbed Talos, an talos was shot in the part of chest where the purple glow comes from? “Where the Skrulls Shapeshift from”
If true, kinda gives the phrase "a change of heart" a different meaning. Especially with the skrulls that also take on someone's full life memories (and therefore at least partially their attachments)
Great analysis in calling out that the Russian approach may sometimes be crude and inelegant, they are almost never noisy and over the top in espionage/counter espionage. It was just playing on tropes of how Russians act. Besides that, hoping that Fury can still display emphatically, that even when he's out, he's still in 💪💪
It wouldn't really be espionage IMO tho, it would be an act of revenge for those Americans that openly bombed the Unity Day festival and killed thousands of Russians.
It did remind me of the infamous COD mission "No Russian" tho
The details and context of the song in the church scene blew my mind. That’s why I love the details that get written into these shows (and y’all for noticing them).
Davis and Fury played that scene so well. This is what happens when you let top actors just do their thing.
12:12 love that set design detail
I'd like to give a thought about the thicker stache and other nitpicky appearance for the de-aging of Fury. This could be how Fury sees himself during the flashback, maybe he thinks that's what he appears during that time that's why the beard is much thicker or some minor differences that we see. It could be a reason, not the actual reason XD But it's something to look past it. :D
Literally been waiting in this video ALL DAY since 10 am but thank you 😅
The bullet in the face could've splintered off a piece that went sideways to hit the ear when it hot his skull
I've been thinking about this for a few days - why can't Fury and Captain Marvel just give the Skrulls that planet Thanos retired on where it was just him in the cabin before Thor killed him? Uninhabited planet that can support life, seems simple enough.
I think they covered that: basically, Fury never really looked for a homeworld for them. He needed them on Earth working for him. Remember, he didn't know there were a million Skrulls on the planet. He thought he had a small set of Skrulls he was keeping on a string while he was out in space.
How are they going to get there?
Right lol and the fact that there’s gotta be some capable technology in the MCU to find a planet for them. Questions like that we aren’t supposed to ask I guess lol
might not be radioactive enough for them. Not all lifeforms require the same living conditions

It was how roadie was talking that made me think he was a skrull. It was too much, he was too casual, that ain't rhoades.
That is not an M&P it was a glock. And if if you look closely the one from the safety deposit box was glock 17 but the one on the table was the double stack subcompact most likely a 26
That's right. Funny enough, the majority of the agents in the Agents of SHIELD series, did carry M&Ps.
Fury shooting one of the faces on the wall back means One of the Many Faces of Varra is discovered by Fury; there's still some faces of Varra we don't know about yet.
The Undertaker is MCU cannon!!! Honestly I don't think anyone does a DDT from the top rope. Very correct Eric you rule.
I think the soldier that was holding Talos told Fury to use one of their cars, before saying he had his own. I think that’s how Fury knew it was Gravik cuz he had just seen that soldier.
I thought it was the soldier that was about to shoot Talos till fury stopped him and that's what gave it away. The soldier went from wanting to kill Talos to helping him in a matter of 20 seconds so fury knew they weren't the same person and that it was gravik
You think? That’s what happened 😂 & Fury knew because of how the soldier just stood there with Talos 🤦♂️
My guess for the ending is Gi'ah becomes the Skrull Queen (also a Super Skrull) after killing Gravik
It’s obvious isn’t it
I feel like fury needs to be the one to kill him after Maria hill and Talos being taken from him right infront of his face
Gravik is a great villain ! Love his character!!
this episode had one of the top works in the mcu. This episode ws really great
I've said this elsewhere, but, given their power set I now want to see a Super Skrull transform into a tree and spontaneously burst into flames.
I kid you not when Rhodey appeared on screen in this episode I immediately thought “SKRHODEY!!!!”
19:12 Maybe the bullet didn't curve, but the ear just healed faster
...maybe the bone fragments from the jaw (and teeth?) that exploded off and through the softer tissue were simply enough to cause the apparent secondary trajectory.
I definitely felt like Rhodes hasn't been his normal self. I knew he was a Skrull but he's definitely a newer Skrull.
BEST episode so far! There was so much to unwrap! Can't wait for G'iahs wrath!🙌🏾
There really isn’t that much to unwrap but it was the best episode
I think Gravik is more important to Scrull culture than they are currently saying. I also think that while spying for Fury, they obtained their own information for their species.
I mean he seems pretty important. He is literally in charge and the council of skrulls is backing him starting a world war
I thought the purple was from that gem on their shoulders which is what changes their cloths.

It’s not odd at all that Skrull who came to Earth in the mid-90s would reference The Undertaker.
Thank you writers and investigators! Excellent breakdown.
Brilliant episode. Really enjoying it.
Don't know if it was on purpose but in the conversation between Fury and Priscilla, Fury's blind eye was sometimes reflecting green, from the trees outside maybe, but it was a nice detail, don't know if it was intended tho
Idk if this has been brought up yet but are the books in Fury’s home meant to be a visual representation of DNA? I was reminded of the box of a certain DNA testing kit while watching your video just now. Our DNA holds information just like books do and at 10:45 there is even a section where two different colors meet like the rungs of our DNA ladder.
The writing for these get better and better. Great team.
Thank you so much for all your work. Love from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤
Definitely the best episode so far could definitely be best of the series.
I dont think Skrody knows that Fury was listening in on their convo. Skrody seems a little too over confident that he fooled (or at least thinks he did) Fury. If he was smart enough to figure that out then I dont think he would have went ahead and had a drink with Fury knowing how sneaky Fury is. Further more look at his cockiness wen he shows Fury the video of Gravik shooting Hill. Plus Gravik was surprised wen Fury turned up at the shoot out. And as u rightly said about Skrody letting his wounded bodyguard open his door and that the real Rhody would never do that it makes me think that the skrull posing as Rhody has his memories but not his instincts. The real Rhody would have figured out that Fury would never turn up at his apartment with a peace offering while begging for his job back. Especially a job he himself didn't officially relinquish.
