*Love this unit! Using upstairs in my sons bedroom **Fastly.Cool** and he’s finally able to be comfortable upstairs without me freezing downstairs. Works for more sqft than expected!*
Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
This has got to be one of the best reviews I have ever seen (for any product)! Very to the point, very easy to understand, very relevant information (such as actual watt used). Great job jobs!! I wish you didn't just do Dehumidifiers. Please start reviewing more things!! :)
agreeeee
you can also consider reviewing the website on dehumidifierbuyerguide .com
How do i see which ones you have selected that fit the best practicality and efficiency with the most features like timer, defrost mode, multiple fan speeds, auto shut off, humidistat variability and ease and a good easy to read temperature display, auto restart, continuous mode and auto mode, quietest, energy star rating, and 3 way drainage, etc?
After watching this review, I'm even more confused.
You guys did a amazing job. I was worried about energy cost, fan noise and how much moisture it takes from the air per hour. Hats off to you guys for answering all my questions in under 11 minutes. I hope you guys expand your review videos to other products, tech, and other appliances.
I have a 35 ft rv that has moisture. what do you think would be the best buy
Hi like your video very informative. I have a Garrison /70pint Dehumidifier I’ve had it for 2/ 3 years ? The problem I had in the first yr when I would adjust the temperature gage to Low setting ( 35c ) it would run for 30 to 40 seconds and shut off but would start up again ? fist it would give out cold air flow followed by hot air ? My question is why does it keep shutting off ? Even do my reader dehumidifier read high humidity and dehumidifier reader is different So I’m looking for another product which would recommend? I’m done with this Garrison product looking forward in your reply thx u
I made some maintenance repairs like cleaning the filter and the water retainer now the unit works.
Thank you for this in depth video, and the link to the buying guide. I'm in the market for a dehumidifier and your info was the best I found!
Excellent. Checking out your website now.

Very well done video
Of all the Dehumidifier which would be more suitable for a 300 sq ft basement with durability and easy operation (Thanks)
Why would you check the noise on a 50pint but do the rest of the test on a 70 pint??
Thank you.
Why has the Frigidaire FAD704DWD been discontinued? But it's #1 on your website?
Dehumidifier Buyer's Guide My heart sunk last night after realizing that i bought a frigidaire FAD504DWD. and saw there is a newer model to this one. though the one i bought is a best seller and rated by over 2 thousand people saying its amazing. the newer model only a bit above 600. So is it better to go with the latest or one that has been around the block and know to work well.
Either the Danby one was the best in most categories or this is a very discreet ad for the Danby one
Can I expect using a dehumidifier that my electric bill will probably be around $30 use per month on average
This wasn't a a buying guide. This was an overly long outline of your testing and review procedure, without any meaningful information. Just wanted to let you know so you can correct the title.
are there ant 12 v dc compresor type dehumidifyers
+Christopher Pierce Hi, thanks for your video. it's helpful. I'd like to recommend you an electric compact dehumidifier from plus.google.com/102351676961548414968/posts/4paFRRuntui . It's actually light in weight and is very quiet. Doesn't take up a huge amount of space since it is smaller in size.
Hello is this helpful, for moist room, and mold on the wall , and help with the asthma symptoms?
Nicolas Leon Yes, depending on the severity of the problem a dehumidifier can definitely help.
For the easing of asthma symptoms look for a dehumidifier with an anti-bacterial filter and ionizer.
Where didn't you go to school?
What ones did you test for safety? Won't catch on fire? Which is the safest?
Thank you so much for this video. Our home is very damp with little sunlight and poor ventilation. I am the only one who is affected by the quality of our air. We have a small dehumidifier in our room which is partially in the ground. Our brand new DH is only three weeks old, and already, the filter is clogged and the internal parts as well. The bucket is lined with orange colored slime and on top of the bucket, I find small vegetative, leaf-like fragments. Our bathroom is also in our room. Of lately, am experiencing soar throat and air constriction. When outside, I am better. We have a dog who has constant ear infections, who drinks water from our bathroom. Lastly, the mold experts found two unidentifiable yeast in our bathroom. Also, they advised our home be kept dry with no standing water due to high mold in our home. We have four levels with humidity approximately 59-66 and at times upper 70's. My partner and I have been battling over this issue for years, as he does not want the expense of purchasing more DH and the expense.
Keeping the above in mind, would you share your knowledge about what could be growing in the bucket? The filters collect fuzz-like particles, and the air output vent has fine powdery dark grey soot. Is the orange growth inside the bucket what is extracted from the air? Are the fuzz-like particles a growth some sort? Given that DH usually do not have a HEPA filter, if the two growth or particles are mold and or bacteria , (or could it even be DUST mites or sand flies), are we dispersing pathogens into the air, causing my sickness?
I would very much appreciate your expert opinion on the above matter. Any recommendations on how we could solve this air/DH situation in suggesting the right DH would be greatly, appreciated. Thank you in advance.
You have answered your own problem- you need to ventilate better, keep the place warm and possibly invest in a dehumidifier. Check for rising and penetrating damp too, you mention you are partially below ground level.
I thank you for your response.
Hello ,, can you please tell me which Dehumidifiers to buy for a 900 square feet apartment . Every years around winter time , My family wake up with dry nose and mouths and sometime our nose bleed, because of the dry air . I have a 5 months baby . every night I put a little Vaseline in his little nose, Which should I buy ? God bless
I think you need a humidifier, not a de-humidifier :D
Ditto
yolandachristmas1975 yo wtf gurl lolololol
Is the water a dehumidifier makes clean enough to drink?
yo. man.
Lenny Tompkins just stop
no, too many impurities in the air
Yes .go ahead.
🙄
Can a dehumidifier kill off a flea infestation?
Only the ones with radar-controlled lasers or those with turret-mounted insecticide lances.
You need 3 men armed with m4 carbine, grenades and pistols as side arms.
Did not consider room temperature below 65 degrees for basement use.
Well that was a long fancy video with zero conclusions
way too long of a video with no conclusion.
It's the Frigidaire in every class.
I have two of them. My sweet ex-wife bought me the second one which I use it in my bedroom.
They did not say a thing here!!! No conclusion!!
