  • A few weeks ago, Pilentum presented some HO gauge cab ride videos on the very large model railway layout of Mr. Hans-Peter Porsche. Now, the big movie is finished. For two days Pilentum filmed the whole model railroad museum built at 1/87 scale. Of course, not all scenes, buildings, locomotives and Marklin trains could be recorded on video. However, in this big movie, which has almost one hour playing time, you can watch a lot of the model train layout and of its details.
    The journey starts in the railroad section of Austria where trains arriving at the big central station. For example, there are some other stations, bridges and one large railway viaduct. Thereafter, the journey continues in the railway section of Switzerland. This part of the movie begins when the toy train is driving along the impressive bridge. In the Swiss section you will discover the great mountains, many railway lines and a central station again. Finally, the journey through the large model railroad layout ends in the section of Germany.
    There you can watch many castles representing Southern Germany, the landscape around the Lake Constance and some marshalling yards. If you would like to visit the Porsche railway museum, please take a look at www.hanspeterpo.... More information and a lot of photos are available at www.pilentum.de, for free.

    We stopped by the Hans Peter Porsche train layout last year while in Germany. This is quite the place! It's based on a typical day - has sun rise, day time hours, night time hours, then sun rise again. Very impressive....plus all the other toys in the building are incredible, even some of his Porsche cars are there. Visit if you can - Anger Germany just outside of Salzburg.

    great video again. I'm always thinking about to buy a tripod: it's hard to move to the next scene with it but the picture quality is great. thanks for sharing

    • @pilentum
      @pilentum  8 лет назад

      Yes, it takes a lot of time to make videos with a tripod but the results are better. Perhaps you should try a monopod-tripod?

      PILENTUM maybe... what about handle like opteka x-grip? I'm thinking about that one at moment

    • @pilentum
      @pilentum  8 лет назад

      Well, the opteka x-grip is better than nothing, but it's cheap plastic, no metal. I am using the opteka x-grip for installing a LED video light on cameras which not have an adapter. My advice: Buy a simple tripod.

    What a fantastic layout, I think what impresses me most is just how clean the track is, how do you keep all that track so clean? do you have cleaner cars attached to every train, I have 2 small layouts and seem to spend all my time cleaning.

    Why Marklin? Why choose toy track when ther is wonderful model track availible?

    • @andrewcalldridge1644
      @andrewcalldridge1644 7 лет назад

      Because too many people didn't yet understood that Marklin was totally out of date compared to others 2 rails dcc stuff..... A layout like this deserve at least a Tillig Elite track or Peco and not this parody for kids... 2 millions euros for plots in the middle of the track... Come on.... !!!

    Eine Anlage für so teures Geld ...
    schwach! Keine Erklärung, die Kamera springt ziellos durch die Gegend, dort, wo etwas passiert, ist die Kamera sicher nicht (Heissluftballons z.B.), ein totales Durcheinander! Die Landschaft lieblos und schwach gebaut, vor allem die Felsformationen. Die Züge fahren alle gleich schnell, nach Stop am Berg fährt der Personenzug mit 3 Waggons gleich schnell an, wie der Güterzug mit 15! Wo kommen die Töne her? Man hört Alphörner, doch man sieht sie nicht, man hört, dass irgendetwas geschieht, doch man sieht nichts, etz. Echt schwach, der ach so berühmte Konstrukteur hat in den 50 Jahren nichts gelernt. Echt schade, Herr Ing.Porsche! Schauen Sie sich doch einmal im Miwula in Hamburg um! Ein sehr trauriger österr. Bahnbauer (vor 50 Jahren)

      Die Firma Brima Modellanlagenbau GmbH hat die Anlage gebaut!

    • @ewilloch
      @ewilloch 3 года назад

      Ich finde MiWuLa vulgär, geschmacklos und grell, wenn auch technisch beeindruckend. Die Porsche-Anlage ist in meinen Augen viel besser, aber im 21‘ten Jahrhundert und nach etwa 40 Jahre Digitalbahn wird es langsam Zeit, dass die Züge realistisch beschleunigen und abbremsen.
