I feel like a lot of what I've loved from them has been discontinued. If the fresh complexion concealer is still available, give it a try. I also have been a fan of their outlast lipsticks for years- before I went cruelty free. The outlast is part of the reason I was so excited they went cruelty free.
There is a Covergirl powder foundation that is incredible. I can’t remember the name offhand, but I love it. It is great for touching up. Also I enjoy that pink Covergirl powder.
This is perfect! I always see Covergirl on sale at Target and CVS, but I don't know what's actually good from them. Thanks for making a video about it!
My biggest problem with Covergirl is that they seem to discontinue the products I love so quickly, while the products I feel nothing about seem to never die. I know that some of the products I am bitter about would look really dated now, but their original formula of the Trublend foundation was the only base product I ever used that blended into my skin seamlessly, while still filling in my acne scars, and they reformulated it and I'm still bitter about it, 15 years later. I guess I should just be resigned to the fact that my aesthetic and theirs don't mesh, so if I like one of their products, it is more likely that it will be discontinued to keep their products in line with their aesthetic.
Gray eyeshadow looks so good on you!! Those trunaked palettes carried my makeup collection on their backs during college 😂 Recently I LOVEDDD the healthy elixir powder from CG, of course it’s discontinued now lol. I’m currently panning it mixed with the dregs of an hourglass powder as a Franken-powder 🧟♂️
Cover Girl was my go-to brand in high school and college. I miss the Lipslicks glosses and Extension mascara. Today I love the Lashblast and Clump Crusher mascara. I'm currently trying their lash and br9w serum. It's about the only one I've found that doesn't sting the crap out of my eyes.
Those eyeliners in hunter green and burgundy are my favorite. I don't know if they're discontinued, but I can't find any other brand that compares. I think they were the first non black eyeliners I ever finished, that's how good they are.
I have a Covergirl Outlast lipstick. It's a couple years old but still going strong. I wasn't aware they now make a matte lip color; I'd like to try it.
I feel like Soft Sable might be easier to use on more light-to-medium skin tones - it looks natural and kind of bronzy on me (and it's still my best friend's favorite!). The CG products I keep repurchasing are the Cheekers blushes, the Exhibitionist mascara, and the pressed powders (they don't all smell like Noxzema!). I've been using the brand since before you were born (and my mother used it before I was born, LOL), so I will always have a soft spot for them, but their eyeshadows really need an update!
@@SarahRoseBeauty I have found that a lot of their powder products are very highly scented with that old school Cover Girl fragrance that they have been putting into pressed powders and other things like blushes for as long as I can remember (umm..and that is the late 80's when I was in middle school and started experimenting with makeup)
Covergirl was the first makeup I ever used starting in high school. The orange Lash Blast mascara was a long time favorite. Currently, I love the eye primer. It is the best one I’ve ever tried.
I know this is a late comment, but have you ever tried the maybelline fit me foundation? Or a review video? I've always been using Bareminerals but they upped their price quite a bit and I'm considering drugstore.
I love the Covergirl highlighter palette, also a lot of people love the single too, they have bronzers but I can’t speak to that formula, but I own the highlighter palette for fair to light skin in it’s lit
I just bought the powder today! I was in need of a new one, and even though I haven't bought much from Covergirl in a while, the packaging definitely pulled me in haha 😬I'm glad you like it, that's reassuring!
That soft sable blush only looked good when I had a tan. I could blend it better with my powder foundation or translucent powder to even it out. I loved your eye look.
@@SarahRoseBeauty I was tempted to repurchase it to see if they had reformulated it. Glad you chose that shade to try because I was intrigued by the CG display at my CVS last night. So thank you for reading my mind. Haha!
I had or had soft sable but i think in decluttered it, if i still have it i keep meaning to throw it out cause i feel like its too much for me. like too dark on me,
The glitter glue makes a huge difference!! Not sure if you caught the side by side comparison swatch in this video but I'd definitely recommend using it with a glitter glue :)
I haven't bothered trying their eyeshadows because they're not my favourite.. I think covergirl is one of those brands that caters to all makeup users and not just people who watch RUclips beauty videos.. I think they strike a good balance between catering to both demographics because they're not totally irrelevant like Revlon or Almay
I used to think that Covergirl was like the top makeup brand because of ANTM and all my makeup was from them, now I don't think I own any Covergirl products.
Thank you for review Cover Girl ! BRAVO for become CRUELTY FREE BRANDS! I try and use the Cover Girl the milky light foundation- love it! The new lipstick love it ! Clean mascara great! Are there any hidden gems from Covergirl you think I should try next?!
I really liked their blush shade classic pink:) haven’t tried much from them at all the past few years
If you ever get through your dipbrow the CG brow pomade is nice. 😌

I wish the ready set gorgeous foundation wasn't discontinued
I love the grey/ silver eyeshadow look and you blended it so well!
Thank you Carolynne!!
I like the Ageless foundation. It feels so luxurious and makes my skin look perfect.
This is perfect! I always see Covergirl on sale at Target and CVS, but I don't know what's actually good from them. Thanks for making a video about it!
Yes same here!! I feel like they don’t get much hype on RUclips so I haven’t known what to try! They do have some great affordable products ☺️

Covergirl was my go to in high school. Great video as always.

I’ve heard good things about the Outlast lipsticks!! I’ll have to check them out too 😊

Oh my gosh, someone with red-ish hair and blue eyes. I will check below for sponsored links. Thanks for posting these affordable options. 👋🏻😁👍🏻
I love a good grey/silver eyeshadow 😍 Haven't used much Covergirl, but I am using lashblast atm and enjoy it
This was a fun video. I tend to avoid Cover Girl. Nothing from that brand has ever really worked out for me.
Thanks for watching!! Yeah some of their stuff does feel very “drugstore.”
Cover girl outlast all day lip color is a good liquid lipstick that’s comfortable in my opinion
Covergirl was the first makeup I ever used starting in high school. The orange Lash Blast mascara was a long time favorite. Currently, I love the eye primer. It is the best one I’ve ever tried.
You look great in these tones!
Thank you Christie!!

I haven't! unfortunately maybelline is not cruelty free so I don't use their products.
I love the Covergirl highlighter palette, also a lot of people love the single too, they have bronzers but I can’t speak to that formula, but I own the highlighter palette for fair to light skin in it’s lit
i haven't actually looked at the ingredients but i heard that the skin milk has some kind of salt in it, maybe that's why it balls up?
Hmm interesting!!
I have the excat cover girl quad that you used and it's my most used
I just bought the powder today! I was in need of a new one, and even though I haven't bought much from Covergirl in a while, the packaging definitely pulled me in haha 😬I'm glad you like it, that's reassuring!
I have heard nothing but good things about that powder. I might pick it up today.
It looks like the blush is sticking to your foundation. Maybe they don’t mix?
i really enjoy that pressed powder!
Me too!! I think I will be getting a lot of use out of it!
@@SarahRoseBeauty i’ve almost hit pan on it 😭 i can see the rings forming lol !
That soft sable blush only looked good when I had a tan. I could blend it better with my powder foundation or translucent powder to even it out. I loved your eye look.
Ooh darn!! It’s such a pretty shade but yeah it’s surprisingly tricky to work with!

I have light to medium skin tone...soft Sable is my go to shade when I want to look natural.

Would love an update with the shadows paired with nyx glitter glue

@@SarahRoseBeauty darn I kust have kissed it I work while listening to videos I'll definitely go back and watch that part
I don't think it was user error with the blush as l use that 1st BK Beauty brush you used to apply my blushes without issue.
Ahh good to know!! It definitely seemed like the blush was going on patchy!

Couldn’t tell you one modern standout product by Almay! Covergirl seems like the drugstore equivalent of The Balm !
It would be so cool if you started to review products from YesStyle!
I'll definitely keep that in mind!! 😊
I used to think that Covergirl was like the top makeup brand because of ANTM and all my makeup was from them, now I don't think I own any Covergirl products.
I have no CoverGirl !!😭
This new blush seems not easy to blend.
It is trickier to use than I expected!!
I swore you owned anther covergirl blush, hmm lol
I think Natural Twinkle is the only one I've owned!
