I highly appreciate the zoom! It really gives the honest view of how the products perform and look on the skin. I have always wanted to use a beauty sponge but believe it or not I find them very difficult to use. Maybe you can teach us gals like myself all the trick and tips on using them.... Thank you!
Love love love the fact that you zoomed into your face and showed us how the products work. It reinforces the idea that yes every skin is textured and it’s okay. Thank you 😊❤️
Love this skincare video, Melissa! As an esthetician myself, I appreciate how you show your real skin texture. Yesss to realistic beauty standards! ✨💯💖
I loved this video!! I especially appreciate the zooming in and showing what it really looks like on your skin. It makes me appreciate your content so much more, because it’s real!
I appreciate the zoom! New to your channel, but I’m already obsessing over these looks! Girl… your makeup always looks flawless! So exited to learn about all your secrets! 😉 Happy Holiday season by the way! Xx
Your skin looks great, it me time to realize with my foundation a little goes a long way and to move around texture spots. I love the Fenty blush!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations on your recent engagement!💍 Your skin is beautiful. I’ve used Cetaphil for decades. It always worked for me. Always wear sunscreen!! Edit-I wasn’t aware Cetaphil came out with all these new products. Guess I need to shop their store displays better.
U are stunning in and out girl ❤ U can tell ur are just a stunning person and true to who u are....I ADORE watching u, because of this fact! And LOVE ALL ur tips and the fact u zoom in and we can all see the TRUENESS of ALL u are doing, its so refreshing to see! And helps me with all my skin concerns. I have just recently started to use Cetaphil and all I use is amazing and does what it says, ive never read or seen anything negative about it at all..atm I use Cetaphil and Nip and Fab skin products as I have to switch it up skincare wise every year or so, but I have a feeling Cetaphil is here to stay Lol and watching this has made me see all the other amazingness they have to offer, so thank u girl ❤ Keep doing u, being true to u...and us all, NOTHING but respect and love to u babe, love from London, UK X
You should still wear sunscreen underneath your makeup because even though some foundations claim to have sunscreen it’s not enough! you would have to use a lot in order to get only some protection, so yea I wouldn’t rely on it, even dermatologists have said this so just an FYI
I usually like your content but feel a certain way about this specific video. You should clarify the type of "sensitive skin" you are talking about. I have sensitive-atopic skin and the only line of products that hasn't provoked me a break out is Toleriane from La Roche Posay (I tried Cetaphil, Cerave and several others). MAC Fix broke me up upon minutes of applying it so I ever only use it to spray some foiled eyeshadows and upon talking with a colleague who worked at a Mac counter, she told me it's not a good match for sensitive skin and they avoid it when they see skins that could react to it. The ELF Camo CC Cream isn't suitable either as it contains a lot of Dimethicone and it isn't oil free (oil free products are the safest for sensitive skin). I trust in your good will to help out people out there with sensitive skin but it is a tricky topic and I believe it's very important to be responsible about these matters.
It breaks you out because it isn't really for sensitive skin. Like my dermatologist says, it doesn't matter what a company claims but the actual ingredients it contains.
Hmmm you have golden olive skin but I think it’s more muted golden olive that leans more neutral olive then warm olive because while the foundations lean warm olive or olive friendly your skin needs a balance of blue which is why I think a lot warm blushes turn brassy on you . I also see that a lot of blue tones flatter you .
I really miss your non-sponsored tutorials and videos. I understand that this is your job, but I would love a non-sponsored video Just every once in a while.
Would you accept it if someone told you to come to work for a day, but you shouldn’t get paid because you should do the work just for the joy of it? Not sure why we expect unpaid labor from youtubers. RUclips is like a magazine - you know the products here are sponsored, just take the tips and take everything else with a grain of salt.
@@ankad5050 Myski I subscribe to many many RUclips creators. Almost all of them make a mixture of videos, some sponsored but many not. I understand that this is how Melissa wants her channel to be and I respect that. Just making a request, that’s all.
@Anka D I fully agree with your comment. RUclips is free for us and even so we also expect it to be ad free / sponsorship free. I won’t imagine asking any other worker to work for free!
@@marials9245 Even if there is no sponsor, youtubers get paid from youtube ads as well as their views. Sponsorship are extra money on top of all of this. Not judging, just saying a video with no sponsor doesn't mean the youtuber works for free, especially when they make views. I don't mind sponsors, but sometimes, youtubers just do videos when they have something to advertise on youtube and we never hear from them otherwise on their channels.. sometimes they don't post for weeks until they have a sponsor ! My dermatologist recommended this brand for the cleanser, and it’s been great for my dry/sensitive skin 🥰 I didn’t know they carried other products other than face cleanser and body lotions, good to know!
For years! 5years i have always used cetaphil only & nivea lotion. I had the perfect skin, my makeup would glide on perfectly. Now I started using toner, vitamin c, retinol, eye cream & basically having a skin care routine I am breaking out like crazy, my makeup gets patches no matter what brush or sponge I use. 😩 i take my makeup off & just not use anything anymore. I need help. 😩
How long have you been doing the new routine for? Sometimes products can cause skin to purge all the stuff that was hiding underneath and sometimes the skin just needs to adjust. That's why it's better to build a routine slowly.
The best line for really sensitive skin is Toleriane from La Roche Posay (as far as it comes to creams, serum, hydrating spray). I can hardly use any cleanser, just micellar water (Bioderma for sensitive skin) and bare water.
@@lavanity7 Yes, it is called "Toleriane". I use the Toleriane Ultra (Cream), the eye contour from the same line and they have a hydrating mist/spray and a serum. All very good products I have been using for a long time and my safest bet when working with clients.
Love that you’re not afraid to zoom in! Gorgeous as always! 💞

Love the closeups bc sometimes it’s hard to tell what people are doing or how much from a distance.
My dermatologist recommended me to use this brand and honestly my skin has been at its best since I started using it.
everytime I go to them for something gone wrong with my skin "just use cetaphil" hahaha

Yeah, I agree with you.
I was just getting ready to comment this. She would need in excess of a teaspoon of the CC cream to get the full effect of the SPF it contains.
She can even top it with an SPF setting spray
Stunning tutorial thank you for sharing!!!

Cetaphil literally burns my face 😭 it’s way too harsh for me
I tried Cetaphil and my skin broke out. Nothing works for my sensitive skin.
Have you tried Vanicream? It has really simple ingredients and gets recommended for people with extremely sensitive skin
