Pablo Douros and 'The Exile Lute'

A unique musical instrument born out of an architectural research project. Conceived, designed and built by Pablo Douros.
Pablo was studying architecture aT U.C. Berkeley. The final year required a project that spanned two semesters. Simply put: out of a list of wildly varying objects/concepts/media, select three; then find a common theme connecting them and finally design and build a physical object that embodied that theme.
