Thanks, Jay! This was so interesting to watch. I use an IKEA toiletries bag for my stuff. It has many compartments, elastic bands, zippers. It has a hook, which I can hang on to my tripod (adds a bitnof weight and stability) or a tree when painting outside. Very clever to switch from tape to clips. A tape roll is so big! I am trying washi tape now, which comes in smaller rolls. Thanks for the tour -it was enjoyable to have the calm background music too.
V soothing and refreshing to watch, J. Uncanny how you have to arrange those clips exactly like I wd HAVE to... I think I have a slight CONDITION! This is an important little bag: a rational and beautiful nugget of order and sanity: can't be overstated. Good on yer mate! EXCELLENT.
Thank you for this interesting and relaxing video. Your calm and pleasant voice, and the soft and lovely piano music in the background, created a very soothing and comforting respite from this jarring world of today. Have a blessed day!
yes i have a lot of stuff everywhere but love a neat go- to package for most things. It's just a case of getting round to making one up for me! Always full of good intentions...thanks for showing us your kit
I don't have a travel bag but I don't bring a lot when I'm traveling. Just a small palette, my Polychromos, a clutch pencil with a HB led, a eraser and a ruler. Sometimes I have some JellyRoll pens, Copic Multiliner and binder clips, too. But when I'm traveling I only want to have everything that I really need. If you're looking for a fountain pen ink that is waterproof you should try the Platinum Carbon Ink or Noodler's Black Eal.
I was considering the Platinum ink and will probably end up getting it eventually but I've got some Baoke waterproof ink on the way so will see how that is.
@@JayNathanWatercolor Noodler's Black Eal is a good ink but if you have a fine nib the lines on the paper will look more like you have used a medium nib. At the Moment I'm using my waterproof fineliner because I have it for a long time and never used it up.
Thanks for the idea, I've seen someone else (smoothie77 here on RUclips) using these tech organizer pouches for their drawing supplies, but seeing it also can carry small palettes is awesome, I'll probably buy one solely for that on shopee 😂 my art supplies are a mix of "all over the place" but organized in boxes or inside pencil cases/plastic drawers
It's a pretty useful bag. Not perfect but does the job for now and just happens to fit my 2 small palettes perfectly. 'All over the place but organized in boxes' is far better than my art supply situation 🤣
Wow! You make videos more often! I love watching your videos. I so you on my notifications and i clicked it immediately. Not disappointed. Have a great day!
I don't really understand everything but i got the point though. This is what they said- "Both pb36 and pg26 are inorganic pigments. When making inorganic pigments from raw materials, "sintering" is performed, and at this time, it changes into various colors depending on the difference in temperature and time to which heat is applied. Therefore, even the same pigment can be used as a raw material for paints that produce different colors. The pb36 used in Mijello's cobalt green deep is a greenish blue raw material, which gives it a cobalt green color through sintering. Each company has its own recipe, which is slightly different for the combination of ingredients for each color."
Wow Nathan, your video production quality is really improving! You could probably do some reviews of pens and brushes as well as paints to attract more viewers.
Thank you very much. I'm slowly getting better hopefully 🙏☺️ I've done a few brush reviews but not many people seem to watch them (Apart from the Raphael Soft Aqua Mop one). Either my brush reviews aren't very good, or I choose the wrong brushes to review or people just aren't that interested in them? Probably the first one 🤣 As for Pen reviews, I don't really know anything about pens and I'm not a very good sketcher. Though I will be doing a review of my fude nib pen and some ink pretty soon. We will see how that one goes. Thanks again for watching and commenting 🙏
omg! great minds think alike! i was literally thinking yesterday about doing one on my hospital bag 😄 i had a similar collapsible cup as well but i kept tipping it over because of the narrow base ☹️ questions... that “sable” mop brush, the tube roller, and the seikai riggers, would you recommend them? and what ink are you currently using?
You should definitely do the video on your hospital bag. Yeah the cup isn't the most stable but I just have to make sure I'm careful with it. The 'Sable' mop brush is from Art Secret and if it's sable then it's the worse sable ever 🤣. I've done paintings with it but it's not the best quality. Save money for a better brush. The tube roller is ok for larger tubes. Probably need something better for small tubes. I like the Sekai riggers for their price. 20-30 baht each I think. The smallest one is best I think. For my dip pen I use Kuretake Black Ink 60. It's great. I've ordered some Baoke Ink for my fountain pen after someone made a great RUclips video about it 😉
@@JayNathanWatercolor OMG u ordered the baoke?! let me know what you think after :D and... awesome advice! thank you so much! u have no idea how many times i allllllmost clicked “buy” on that mop brush 😅 i almost got the same tube roller because it’s affordable but my fingers dont have strength so i decided against it 5555. i guess i might get one of those that have the winding(?) thing.
Yes I did order it. I will probably do a review of it along with the Duke fude pen once I get it. I have one of the metal winding tube squeezers also. It's much better but it's almost the size of my palette 🤣
@@JayNathanWatercolor it's a very nice bag, I have never seen one like this. What it was originally sold for? That little bag is just right for the job and the green leaf is new to me, what a good idea. Thank you for sharing
You're very welcome. Thank you for watching and commenting. The leaf is really good. Makes it much easier to separate the paper from the block.

Fineliners are much simpler than fountain pens. I wouldn't bother with a fountain pen usually but the fude nib is so much fun.

I think the bag is originally meant for keeping your chargers and cables. There are 3 little pictures on the front.
