Loved this. A few other League tracks you might consider - Love action, The Things That Dreams are Made of, Open your heart, The Sound Of The Crowd, The Lebanon, Mirror Man.
Great but very un-Human League like song. Nick, STILL waiting for you to do some Jesus and Mary Chain. I'm sure they will be right up your street. Just like Honey, Some Candy Talking and April Skies would be my recommendations.
Jam & Lewis were rather unlikely producers for this band. Mind you, Phil Oakey himself had branched-out by doing ‘Electric Dreams’ with Georgio Moroder a couple of years earlier.
(a suggestion about being "blocked") Me and my wife did a show for a long time K-REB The Rockabilly Talk Show" We played the vids to all our songs (if no vid we'd show a live version) when we started, we had being blocked problems (especially with The Cramps) This is a way we "got around worrying about it. She got her own separate RUclips account with no subscribers. We'd upload are whole playlist/vids to play on her's a week prior. We'd know right away ones to forget, some would get blocked over the course of the week. Anyway get a second account
I'd love to show you our show we did but I took them all down because of a "weird rule" (I won't go into it but) but I will say I did have surgery recently, while recovering I made alot of fun shorts I know you'd enjoy. Check my station out (what's left of it) AND how do I make requests? I grew up in the 80's DJ still and have lots of good ones for ya (ones 1st heard even)
This song wasn't written by anybody in the band. It was written by an American duo (Jam and Lewis), so lacks any of the peculiarities and personality of The Human League's earlier material. Essentially, this was a deliberate move for a commercial hit in the US to re-establish the band in the wider public consciousness. The only thing which immediately identifies it as a Human League song is Phil Oakey's voice.
It BLEEDS 1986. Just adore that song. It was a huge hit in Brazil.
Loved this.

He is so underrated singer! He has really good voice!
Another classic 80's song by them is Keep Feeling Fascination and i'm sure u know it already
Woah, didn't know it went to #1. 1986 was all over the map musically.
This is from the time they worked with Jam/Lewis famous producers.
I always thought this song was so "Human League" that I didn't even realise it was "Human League" until a few years ago.
Rather good song for it's time
Now that's a great reaction.... Others fail to grasp the context of the song they're reacting to.... Salut
The girls didnt come along till 1981. Before that it was four guys.
Beautiful video. The girls make up looks great.
Pulp bassist Steve Mackey recently passed away, a reaction to a Pulp song would be good, I suggest Joyriders.
Great but very un-Human League like song.

Funny thing - the backing vocals weren’t done by either of the women in the band.
AAAAA Awesome!!!
If you want a cracking Human League song react to Seconds from the Dare Album .. About the JFK assassination..🤘
You should have heard the complete album version instead of this single edit version!
Try listening to "Empire State Human" instead!😉

ya gotta do a reaction to 27 questions by black midi
Not my favourite league song, many better. Has that mid 80's slick production, not for me.
