This phone looks awesome One of the best phones of the year so far for me. I think we expect a little bit too much from a $330 phone that looks like this. The camera is more than enough for majority of the casual shooters like myself plus with updates it's going to get better
@@joshuaj5071 I watched a speed comparison video with Nothing 2 and it was almost as fast as the other phone in opening apps. The RAM management was also good.
If your use case requires Ufs 3.0 or higher then it's understandable but if you're a casual user them I'm sure you won't even notice like the majority of us. I think it's blown out of proportion @@joshuaj5071
I really like the Nothing 2a. I wasn't struck on the design at first but it's actually grown on me. I've never been a massive fan of the lights on the back as with the others ( I have a NP2 ) but less of them I'm actually a fan of. For some less is more. I'm about to buy one when they start shipping. What really suprised me was the fact that I really like the milk version. I like the fact that the back cover is slightly obscuring the detail. But all in all if the phone gives me 90% of what I get from the NO2, I will be happy. I'm happy it's made from plastic. When plastic is done right, it's fantastic. Cameras I'm not to fussed about as it will be a work phone. Just had to be fast enough, good screen and good battery. Obviously those boxes are ticked.
I was very tempted to get this, love everything about the design and the os. In the end I had to go for the x100 pro for the camera. If Nothing can match the big boys with camera performance they will become huge.
The X100 Pro is in a different league when it comes to photography, but it's also much more expensive so that's to be expected. Enjoy it, I'm sure you will :) bring on the Phone (3), hopefully it'll pack Nothing's camera A game.
I'm considered getting this as an alternative to A35/A55. Even though Samsung offers better camera and premium build on A55, virtual proximity sensor makes it a hard pass so I expected Nothing to fix camera updates.
Hi there. Does it have support for Dolby Atmos or spatial audio or an equalize or hi-res audior? Can it do multi -window multitasking side by side or top & bottom? Would you know what bitrate is the audio when recording video?
No overheating while playing Genshin Impact isn't just commendable it's AMAZING considering Pixel 7a is known for overheating while doing even the most mundane task. Google should use an overclocked Mediatek Deminsity SOC for Pixel 8a but they won't, unfortunately.

I think the camera housing is a bit reminiscent of what Google did with their new Pixel phones. With a case it'll sit flatter on a surface rather than wobbling with it sitting on the corner. I still believe that the lights are a gimmick for 99% of people. I don't know anyone who wants to lie their device on the screen to be able to see notifications as they come in.

Replacing Poco X2 (one of the best android allrounder phones launched till date) & I think 2A can surass that one in each category. That's why waited for this long to get a budget phone that might not chart topping in specific department but can work reliably in each & every scenario. No it won't. The quality is too good. I ordered on 12th morning and I received in the evening. It's too premium and glossy touch. I have fallen in love with it.
Thanks for the comment. No, actually it's incredible. I fell ill shortly after I received the phone, so will be posting a long-term review soon. Let me know if you have any questions about it in the meantime and I'll do my best to answer. Basil
Pixel is your main option around that price. Most low-cost phones have bloat, though Moto and Nokia phones are pretty good on that front too. It depends on where you are and what options are available for you.
This phone is for people who understands how about what good software is... Not for those who care only for specification and camera pixel and have no sense of bloatware, advertisement and the love the Chinese garbage os

Your options are:
Pixel 7a or Pixel 7
Motorola Edge 40
Nothing 2a
Samsung A55 (a month or two after release)
hate Alastair Campbell, love the Nothing (2a)
🤣
Ufs 2.2

Poco x6 Pro > Nothing Phone 2a.Significantly more powerful processor, better screen, faster RAM and UFS 4.0.
Poco x6 pro battery draining issues many are unsatisfied
Cons: Your phone is called POCO
Cons:-
Design
Software
Bugs(can be included in software)
Camera
POCO(yes that's a con)
Staying away from poco after the battery drains like no tomorrow plus heats so easily 😡
Dead motherboard as well and worst UI😂
He good for gameing?
Dragon ball legends ?
Brawl stars?
Warzone mobile?
I just need that all
Camera need be fine for me
Don't buy phone's that don't provide chargers in box
