Angron versus all challengers that appear in this Colosseum of Carnage. Can the combined strength of the brave soldiers of the Astra Militarum tear down the Red Angel? Can a King make the beast bow down? What about an Ancient Knight? Or will it take an equally red, equally winged, but probably less angry brother to send Angron back to Khorne?
The Astra Militarum, Necrons, Aeldari, and Thousand Sons will all engage the rage of Angron.

Loved this. If you do a part 2 I’d recommend the named Keeper of Secrets. She is a blender against named characters.
Shelaxi Helbane. Her Soulpiercer does D3+3 Damage instead of 3 against characters and her warlord trait is that she can re-roll her hit rolls and against characters she re-roll wound rolls, but they said they're not playing without warlord traits.

@@Swampert919 not even sure if thats correct. It isn't on his data sheet but we also don't know what the "Epic hero" keyword does so its not 100% confirmed gone yet
@@Godofallmadness we know what epic hero means, they explained it during the army building reveal, basically means he's a named character and you are restricted to only 1 copy of him in an army, no affect on gameplay.
So its 100% confirmed gone for him, only question left is who else lost it.

I feel like you guys aren't describing what values you're rolling for enough. At all lot of points when you were showing the dice tray I didn't know what you wanted to roll. Makes following and cheering along difficult.

Let's not forget Angron was defeated by Perturabo in a turkey shoot, lost to humans and got butcher nail weave installed in scalp only to lose to Sanguinius because he snatched Angy's said weave, only to go on to lose to old ass Johnson because Angron is a casual and forgot how to parry.
As someone who is new to the game and doesn't have enough wisdom to probably back this claim, but, hitting on 2's and rerolling 1's seems so stupid to me.

Guard needed a Command Squad with bodyguard, Marbo, a squad of Melta/Plasma Kasrkin with Trophy Hunters and some infantry squads.
If they got first turn, with orders, they'd put some serious hurt on Big Red.
Morty vs Angron fight would be interesting to see
How about a coliseum with just space wolf and dark angel characters fighting the Lion & the Wolf duel. And include 30k Johnson vs 30k Russ as the starting point.
If you survive ONE round with Angron, Khorne himself takes notice. Two, you earn his approval. Three...? You get promoted to Daemon Prince, no questions asked (and with approving nods from the other Chaos Gods).
