- We got to meet John and Eli Dube from Oakledge Farm in Deep River, Connecticut back in July of 2020. They gave us an oxen demonstration at the home of the American Milking Devon Cattle Association's President's farm Maple Breeze in Westbrook, CT.

Nice looking pair!
See why they prefer this breed . Very active, fast and trotters . Alert.
Excellent. They seem smarter and more patient than horses. Focused on their handler.
By the way the day we visited the farm where the oxen live, the owner was away. So I was unable to inquire about his oxen.
Are you familiar with the term Horn Breeze 12 to14 oxen
This a very cool video and how to training vid. Do they have training classes at their farm?
Thank you. No they don't do any training classes, but I would look in to Drew Conroy. He has written a few books on oxen training and has some videos as well.
Perfect sized animal. Beautiful.
I heard this tern in Dundee, New State
Be the hayfield oxen and traveling. Moving bails . Great video. They ready to walk fast keep moving. Lol.
I get me some now if I have a farm. They look like dna to have fun working ... great video .
Perfect little cheap tractors... got me excited . Lol.
What are the contacts name and email addresses so I redirect my inquiry.
Not that I know of, but reach out the American Milking Devon Cattle Association and they could tell you. Thanks!
Oxen are a lot smarter than regular cows.
Oxen are just regular cows that are trained to work. 😒
