@@nodatastored684no, Luke is literally Anakin. I wonder what passed through Anakin's mind when he found out that the Princess that he put through Hell, was, in fact, his daughter. And, I do mean Anakin Skywalker, not Vader.
It's understandable that Leia would react to Anakin's Force Ghost the way she did. I would've reacted the same way. Glad she eventually came to something of an understanding.
Leia being so apprehensive about forgiving Anakin is completely understandable, while Luke was undoubtedly the better Jedi, Leia is the more relatable of the two in my personal opinion.
The book 📖 The Battle of Bakura was when Anakin Skywalker as a Force Ghost reached out to Leia. This happened only days after The Battle of Endor. Leia was already a bit weary from that battle and was worried about what was to be expected from the battle to come when Anakin surprised her by appearing. She had nothing but hatred in her heart about him and couldn’t understand why Luke forgave him. She told him (Anakin) she couldn’t forgive him because of what he did to Han. If Han would forgive him, so would she. Anakin told her it didn’t quite work that way. And he wasn’t sure if he would ever see her again. Her reply was “Good”. She later told Han about her encounter with Anakin and he was shocked 😳. Han was in disbelief 🫢 how Anakin could ask for forgiveness after everything he had done to the galaxy.
This is very nice scene. We can understand Leia but she understood at the end. Anakin and Leia are extremely similar. Abrasive, brave, hot tempered, leaping into action. Leia led the Rebellion. Anakin led his 501. Two brilliant commanders and tacticians. Luke is like Padme. He shows love, compassion, empathy to everyone. He shows understanding. He like diplomacy and uses lightsaber and the Force only when needed. He shows this a lot. May the Force be with you too, have a great day too😀
@@leoroemer6085 i think she would feel uneasy at first. Giving their history, before. I think she would understand a lot later. She would understood Anakin much better and quicker. In my mind, Anakin and Leia had one last conversation and they were able to achieve catharsis. Not to say that she forgives him, but at least understands the complexity and tragic life of Anakin Skywalker.
Perhaps becasue she needed to know more of her own family history? Where her true origins are from? Also influence from Luke and wondering why did he forgive Vader? Her brothers words and opinion carry respect. Sometimes in order to understand yourself, you have to go back a few generations. Ya she could have just wrote it off, but think about it. If she is the daughter of Vader, that meant Vader had a partner, her mother. That also meant that Vader was capable of love and someone did love vader back. Curiousity of how did vader come to being? So this probably was a bunch of questions that needed to be answerd.
She probably would have stilled blamed Vader because it's easier for her to pin the blame on someone else who was there with her but didn't do anything stop Tarkin from giving the order to destroy Alderaan.
Its talked like they're different people buy honestly Vader ISN'T a different person more like an Alias who's persona Anakin lived in for most of his life.
The stupendous wave we all know the force has a will of its own and works in mysterious ways, so why not next time make a video about what if Anakin Skywalker was trained by the force itself, because who better to be the best and perfect teacher, mentor master of Anakin Skywalker not the Jedi, sith, mortis gods or force priestesses for the force itself his creator, his father because the rest, you know everything everyone knows in Star Wars, canon, everything
I read the Canon book, Bloodline, and she was still unwilling to forgive her biological father till she read the diary of her grandmother, Shmi!!! Eventually, she did forgive him albeit reluctantly!!
And also out of every what if scenario of Anakin Skywalker? You guys know it as well.
He was consumed by whininess, fear, hate and finally, jealousy. Why didn’t he just go and take his mother from Tatooine? Not like he hadn’t disobeyed the Council before. Oh yeah, because George didn’t write that, or a reason why.
Vader having a force ghost is still the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.. to learn the ability requires a mindset antithetical to the sith doctrine.. redeemed? He was a whole indiscriminate serial killer up until the moment he died, but plot armor i guess
Vader didn't have a Force Ghost. Anakin did. And he had help from Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan and Yoda who guided his spirit. It's different from doing all by yourself like Qui-Gon did, which Anakin probably wouldn't have managed, yeah. When Anakin died he was at peace with himself and let go of his anger and hate. As the Chosen One, he was the embodiment of the Force, by fulfilling the prophecy, he restored balance to the Force (both within himself and the Galaxy), which allowed him to become one with it.
Luke is a saint. Leia is what a realistic reaction would be. I’m for one glad that the new canon has her never reading some diary and suddenly forgiving him. It’s a cop out. I always watch these videos to learn more about Star Wars lore but I’ve never understood this part. If you took Hitler and told me he was some amazing man before he turned evil… I wouldn’t care. He’s still evil and killed millions. Vader is worse than a 1,000 Hitlers. Sooooo 🤷♀️

I think that Leia was correct and justified to be upset and traumatized because of all the evil actions she experienced at the hands of Vader and the Empire. I can see how looking at Vader and Anakin as two separate people helped her to reach a point of some form of forgiveness/peace. And yet I also think Leia could have at least been open more to trying to forgive her father. Because she was the only person after the encounter with Anakin that was angry, resentful, unwilling to forgive and would carry that burden and all its weight until finding Shmi’s journal. When someone else wrongs us often we are unwilling to listen and more unwilling to forgive. But when you turn the tables when we wrong others we want them to listen to us, and be open to forgiveness. Because she’s half Anakin.
In The end Anakin more then likely knew that Liea had forgiven him. After all she was is his daughter.
Technically Tarkin destroyed Leias home...But I get it Tarkin is dead next best thing is to hate Vader plus he was there lol.
Vader and Anakin are not separate individuals. They are irreversibly the same, just under different angle and circumstances.

Darth Vader is indirectly responsible for the complete genocide of Leia’s people, not directly.
All Vader had to do was say Tarkin was responsible for the Death Star. Wonder what she would’ve said?
