I got to admit it was pretty hot when he said, "you wanted the Devil, well you got him" with the red eyes and everything. My heart broke when Amenadiel called his younger brother evil. 😢💔

But Lucifer still takes it easy on amenadiel.. all he wanted was to bait amenadiel into getting angry ans raging so he could "fall" like he did. That's why he stills hitting him and just starts taking hits.. he wants him to keep going.

I couldn’t believe Amenadiel said that. I think that was the first time watching the show that I’ve actually gasped out loud. Poor Lucifer. I adore Tom Ellis. You can literally see every emotion play across his face in this scene.
Amenadiel has always been annoyed with Luci. Deeply uncomfortable, constantly on his guard and feeling used, humiliated, manipulated...
Amenadiel sees Lucifer as the source of all his self-appointed problems.

In this fight he knew he could get amenadiel to get angry and fight back, he wanted him to rage and "fall" like he did"
Lucifer was deeply hurt by amenadiel calling him "evil" so his mindset was if in so evil then punish me and be evil as well.

The Lucifer here...in this series is much more like the literary Hades...not a bad guy...his jobs are a) King of the Underworld and b) Punisher of evildoers...🤷♂️🤔🤨 Hades in the traditional myths is not a cause for people being bad...he just has a tough job to do...
