At 12:00, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Frisco conducted their weekly test of the Emergency Alert System.
Met up with Whammy for this video. Not much to say other than the fact that the echos are insane. Развлечения
the DTMF wants to be its own siren tone

Nice! In front of Stars Head office!
Why siren plays dtmf tones? I'm new to this world, in Italy we do not have such sirens (at list in my town). I know that it's a radio signal to activate sirens, but why can be heard?
This only happens when the siren receives activation/deactivation tones during live PA function (basically intercom mode) in this mode whatever it receives through the radio is played through the siren, and the siren continues to play those tones before the controller processes them to cancel live PA.
I tought only phones used those
@@polhpolh64 It's a radio transmission type, yes it is primarily used by phones but it is not limited to that.
why do they play the DTMF tones?
When do they do wail? Is it a certain time?
Today at 12
It will not be done today because it’s raining
Ok
This Is Only Test
How does the dtmf tome activate the sirèn
DTMF is essentially just like dialing a phone, the siren recognizes it
@@tomatosoupwoo any videos that explain the code itself or is it kept a secret to prevent unauthorized acess
@@kettleshot6044 dtmf is your phone dial sir
@@kettleshot6044 there are absolutely videos, especially on the different tones, the history and AT&T's influence on these tones.
@@kettleshot6044these sirens use a 10 digit DTMF code to communicate with one another
The first 3 digits are a system ID number (im going to use 864 as an example) the next 4 digits are to represent specific units in the system (# meaning all units) the 8th digit is the ID to the base station being used to send the signal and the last two digits represent the function the siren is going to run
In this example the tones used for this type of activation would be
(P.A) 864####0D4
(Siren polling response)
(Cancel) 864####0DD
The codes for an actual wail activation would be
864####0D1
Wasn't I here too?
Nah fam
That was the one off of Preston and Warren, we were standing not too far from an Academy and were making pretty crude jokes lmaooo
Re-watch the video for your sarcastic laugh after it cuts off. *high pitched* BWAGHAHAH WAHGAGAAAH
