    WHAT ARE AMIGDALOTA?
    Amigdalota are traditional Greek almond cookies that hold a cherished place in the heart of Tinos locals. These delicate sweets are characterised by their almond-rich flavour, subtle sweetness and tender texture.
    TINOS CULINARY HISTORY
    Tinos island, nestled in the Aegean Sea, is not only celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes but also for its rich culinary heritage. Amigdalota have been a staple on the island for generations, reflecting the island's deep-rooted traditions.
    GLYKISMA
    Glykisma is a family business in the heart of Tinos town (Chora), with special local traditional sweets of its own production. It also sells authentic, traditional Tinian produce such as Tinian artichokes, capers, honey, spoon sweets from local producers, as well as a variety of unique sweets for all tastes.

    NOTE
    We managed to find out some of the flavours of the Amigdalota we tried in this video!! The original flavour included rosewater, and we also tried chocolate, strawberry and orange flavour ones. We are still not sure about the green one!! Unfortunately, we have not yet found a UK online shop that sells Amigdalota from Tinos!
