@@typekkleks4013 really? you genuinely believe ksante and smolder were well designed champions? smolder, is a generic infinite scaler with a twist that his abilities can evolve. ksante is a tank that can turn into skirmisher by ulting. on paper ksante seems interesting but he has three dashes and he basically stays the same champion after ulting, the only difference is different base stats and instead of having a knockback he has faster dashes. how is that good design.

They arent balanced champs by any means, but they only need tweaked numbers, the kit is fine

@@sh0ckwavex yes there are a lot of reworks I didn't really agree with at the time but I got used to it and now it's ok, others were on point (Mundo and Udyr were perfect imo and they were part of my champion pool so it's unbiased) but Skarner...I don't know man for me it's a total failure of a rework (like Aatrox) and I'm sure I will not play him anymore. I'm very disappointed.
The ult now is the most useless skill of his kits, it really not that matter. Maybe if you playing support or AP but yeah, i dont know why you playing support or AP skarner when you can go tank and demolish the other team yourself.

@@purpleguy6837 5% pick rate, 3% ban rate = pick ban. Even when he was strong, he was 12% pick rate, 11% ban rate. It was far lower before the rework btw.

I thought we all knew aoe suppress was coming since they showed year ago their plan for his R, in fact the teaser gif they showed back then was more OP: it was the exact same ult as old skarner aka instant. but in a cone shape that dragged 5 annies
this one is only 3 and in a shape that gets thinner the further it goes and takes time to charge

Remember guys, it has cast time ans they need to be all together, the most common way this is gonna happen is in QC combat with a heavy cc comp and still skarner will need to front line to impale all 3 champs, is gonna be like a yasuo 5 champ R, the conditions are very weird

Also you can easily flash/dash out of it if you're not pre cc... what make him strong is probably his e and q but it still depend on hiw much damage he do in real game

it's funny how they said "skarner R will be aoe and it can suppress the entire team" nobody said a word now that they lowered the number of enemies u can ul everybody is going crazy, skarner is strong bc it didn't even came out, the numbers are a bit high but the kit is completely fine skarner is really immobile and it's easy to escape from him, the only problem is that his e is an easy escape, that's the only issue i see but even if u want to use it to escape u can't use it to engage so not that big of a problem

Honestly his ult is now weaker than his old ult. Not only can they dodge it now, it might bring in more of your teammates with you to help you and tank for you. The stun is shorter too.

My prediction is that once people know how to play around this new skarner, he's going to be frighteningly mid-tier in lower elos, and low-tier/troll in pros. His damage isn't insane, his kit isn't overloaded, he doesn't have crazy movespeed, and his ult now has a windup.
Yeah, I also found it a bit strange that a pro player reacts like this to an extremely telegraphed AOE ability lol

@@atifzaman8095 Nah, this Skarner iteration is definitely balancable. He can combo his e into his ult, even with the windup time, so he still has playmaking potential, but its mostly gated behind his e cd. I'm mostly saying with his kit in its current balancing state, it will probably end up a bit underwhelming.

Yeah it’s a skill shot so you can dodge it. Also nearly everyone playing against skarner both new and old bought QSS or took cleanse. That’s like complaining about Amumu CC but not buying merc treads or taking tenacity runes.

@@angbinh2043 Her E is the straight Line and her W is the AOE disarm thing. After playing the new skarner in PBE i can confirm that its super easy to dodge and the range isnt even great

His Q isn’t even an auto reset so honestly I’d wish they’d fix that but his W is like old ornn W, his E is Poppy E but kayn at the same time but doesn’t heal him and his Ult is his old ult just can grab up to 3 now. Let’s compare it to like amumu and his kit is very similar.

His Q do too much damage for a tank, his Darius bleed make no sense, his E will suppress and stun you while can go through wall. This is not ok
@@DuyHa1001 There are so many things wrong with what you just said. First off Skarner after rework isn't a tank anymore. He's a bruiser. Sure you can build him as tank but he has pretty good AD scaling. He's also slow as shit, he needs his E to just clear his jg in a timely manner because of how slow he moves. Also if you want to talk about Damage he is actually severely underperforming compared to other bruisers like Illaoi. Also you complain about a passive that doesn't proc unless he autos you three times... a passive that does less damage than a single fiora passive proc at level 1.

The animation is so long, I feel like a lot of champs can get out of the area in time. The only reliable way I see it working is to combo into it from cc already on the target
Yes, it is not as bad as people in this comment section making it up to be. He is not as mobile as before, his e is most likely not going to hit adc ever unless he comes from an unexpected place(in which case assassins would be just better anyways) so this ult would mostly be used on the guys at front. It also feels like the cc is shorter than before. What were they supposed to do, remove the characters identity? Every other ability is already different and his scaling is just full hp from what the trailer showed. Let his ult stay at least
yes a move that takes 15 years to channel so it can pull 3 people for 0.007 seconds is so op guys. league community really never misses
It probably cancels some abilities, it lasts about 2 seconds, and if it works with Flash... And even if it doesn't it still allows you to CC and pull for 2 seconds. I'm not even part of the league community anymore, and I know that's more than you need to win a TF.
If you want to give an actual decent argument against it being op, you should point out it has a cast time, however short it is. That's important because you can interrupt him out of it or jump away from it. But the better the player, the easier they can get around that.
Skarner is likely going to be a perma ban in the pro scene.

Anyone remember steroid ryze, blood boil snowball nunu, no yone, no yasuo, no zed, no yumi, irelia hadn't gotten her obnoxious rework, warwick ult was point and click, aatrox wasn't lifesteal riven, poppy had that funny ass ult, gangplank didnt 1 shot everyone he just farmed gold per 5 items, olaf was kinda ksante but not nearly as annoying, shen had the lifesteal q goated times

They literally said they weren’t changing Impale lol. And they made it last way shorter, can’t move as far with the target, can’t flash during it, can’t use his other abilities, and it’s a skill shot with a cast time instead of a point and click ability. Who cares

Him bringing 3 targets rather than 1 is a nerf. Only skarner mains get this I feel. He can no longer single out 1 carry and fully bring him in into his whole team. Now he might bring in a tank support or something to tank projectiles and he doesnt have as much freedom as to where to carry the enemy and the stun is shorter. He also can no longer insta cc right after the impale ends.

I liked the new sprites on tabi, bf’s voice in the second and third song just don’t really hit like before or in tenzalt’s remastered versions of the song. If the 2nd song was longer, and bf’s sprites for genocide were finished it might have hit a lot harder. Still such a great fanmade restoration of the mod everyone should have gotten. Wish the songs were tenzalt’s remastered versions of the original songs, but I loved the 4 additional ones.

Tbf after playing him, the trade-off of the ult not triggering instantly with it being able to grab 3 people at most is good and bad at the same time, there were a lot of plays where I could've secured a kill if skarner ult was instant cast and I got one single play where I was able to catch 3 people in my ult and buy enough time so that my team could catch up to the enemy and do a triple, but even in that play I died so I'd say it's still balanced
To be fair, the fact that it’s no longer point and click honestly feels like it’s less oppressive than it used to be.

They should make it to where only one impales one does dot damage and the other one slows all on one person. And were ever that person walks that was just impaled leaves some sort of path on the floor following him for a few seconds, whoever walks on that path will be slowed or take dot dmg. Its pretty strong but not as op as 3 ccs.
