An expensive, but exceptional switch. I really didn’t think I’d be saying that about an MX based tactile switch.

As always you outdid yourself. Terrific review.
This was the first switch that really impressed me. I've since moved on to other tactiles, but I'll always remember U4Ts fondly.
What switches are you mainly using now?
Very nice review! You should check out Designer Studio White Jades. They're so tactile and can rival U4Ts
As a tactile switch enjoyer, I've always been interested in trying this out, but still on the fence. Reduced travel due to the long pole feels a bit daunting, I've had Kailh Pro Burgundies and I really hate the reduced travel, so I'm still hesitating even though this has the reputation. How does the bump compare to Durock T1 though? (I have T1 but in full nylon housings like JWK)
the bump is very slightly weaker and more rounded compared to the T1
Hey man you can do a review of Gateron’s Purple Dragon! I’m a huge tactile fan ✌🏼
you should try to review jwk ultimate blacks. they're pretty good.
I love them as spacebars, but for the alphas and numerics I prefer Feker Panda more.
Hey Keeb im looking for a creamy switch that is well suited for typing large amounts of texts fast. Do you have a recommendation/ video about that?
These U4Ts are pretty nice to use for typing. But there are also switches like the Buckling Spring, Alps SKCM Blue and my personal favourite switch - The Kailh BOX Pink. All of which are great switches for typing. I may make a video about it... not too sure when though.
They sound great, but I don't understand having the tactile bump at the top. It defeats its raison d'etre when it's divorced from the contact event. Have you tried Clickiez?
Like a lot of things in this hobby, it’s a matter of preference. For the most part, I happen to like tactile bumps at the top of keypresses instead of them being in the middle. Also, I haven’t tried Clickiez, but I really want to!!
The tactile bump is looong on the u4t, it feels like the whole key travel is a bump (very small post-bump travel before bottoming out). That's why this kind of bump is called a "D" shaped bump, so the actuation still is actually on the bump even if it's at 2mm.
Good video but I think the boba u4t is cheaper on like every other site than aliexpress it's more like 8 euro/dollar for 10 switches
Yep, it really depends where you shop and how many you're buying!
Yeah, from daily clack (australian vendor) its 8.7 AUD for 10, which is about 6.2 USD
GreaT review
Do the newer U4tX
What switch would you suggest for fps gaming?
the best switch for you
think the "chatter" is more to do with the stabilisers rather than the switches
I want to say so too, but I've reviewed quite a bit of switches now and chattering was never an issue. The stabs I’m using are less than a year old, and I re-lube them every now and then, so there shouldn’t be any problems here…in theory.
I figured GMK stabs were quite good, but I could try out some new, higher quality stabs since there’s so many of them out there now!
How can you say that's it's worth 12 pounds on ali express when it's 6.6 euros on keygem?
Because it was £12 on AliExpress at the time.
I don't usually use other sites, but if you find them cheaper elsewhere, go and buy them there instead.
bro my red switch is sounding better, why is this so expensive
They are stock
It's because of the keyboard chassi and microphone not the switch.
Depends on the board and keycaps as well
Comparing the sounds of tactiles vs linears isn't an apple to apple comparison smh 🤦♂️
Care to upload how your red sounds like so we can judge?
