What a soul-healing message from two of the most talented, beautiful people in the music industry today. Thank you for this collaboration we all need more than we realize.
I must live in a cave, just heard this song for the first time on Ellen. I had to send it to my daughter immediately. Simply beautiful lyrics and voices make it one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. Thank you for sharing your talents to encourage us all that we have a voice.
This is a beautiful articulation of what women must pass on to the younger generation. We have a voice. For me personally, I think the hope of this world lies in women who understand this simple message and not those who endorse the patriarchy.

When Brandi comes in I get transfixed. Her part in this song is impeccable. Alicia’s passion in her words gives me chills. The beautiful message brings tears to my eyes. Language was invented to hide the truth. However, using our voices we can begin to speak our power and truth. Especially women who have been silenced for too long in this world. Thank you for this beautiful song! 💛

May we continue to be blessed with these sweet & steady reminders, and may we together BE and BRING the mightiest forceful wave of change. Endless love to my brothers & sisters. x
I have never heard of Brandi Carlile but after hearing only part of this song towards the end, I went to find who she is! What a beautiful song and beautiful voices. Alicia Key is always one of my favorites already-full of grace, true beauty. I can’t wait to listen to all of Brandi’s songs- she has a new fan!
So happy that this masterpiece is nominated for Grammy Song of the year!. At last Grammys nominated great music and not the best selling songs like others song been nominated...
I'm subscribed to Alicias channel and awoke at 7:30am to a notification for this song - what a great way to start my day. Its now 9:30am and I'm still listening to Brandi as I hadn't heard of her before. Thanks for the introduction Alicia. Now to actually start my day with love in my heart and peace in my mind.
THIS to me is so powerful. When all is said and done, it is not the multiple tracks, the multiple synthesizers, and the auto-tune voice in always metrical 4/4 time signature, but rather, the heart of the song, what it means. This song carries so much. It says a lot without having to be bogged down by so many other tracks. This is clean, simple, melodic, and has great harmony that goes beyond the I and V chords. I am going to school for a Masters Degree in Music for Film and Television. One of my instructors has said to us, "Think deeply. Write simply." I don't mind a lot of pop songs with heavy use of auto-tune and multiple computer programs, it's good, but sometimes it's too much. What is the essence of the message?
I haven't been able to listen to this song without breaking into tears!! It's beautifully arranged & sang, but its the raw truth of the lyrics and the pain you can hear in their voices over other people suffering is what's truly beautiful!
Two of my most favorite singer songwriters. This made my mind and my heart explode! And the Way Brandi looks a Alice, the admiration is so palpable ❤️.
Man, everything about this is beautiful. The black and white colour scheme, the two pianos, the lyrics, the voices. I am so happy that this is a thing that exists.
These are my two favorite female singers out of three, the third being Regina Spektor. I haven't gotten enough of them and out of left field these two different worlds collide...Beautiful Song!
Okay. I have never heard of Brandi Carlile's music before. But I just got chills *all* over my body from her voice.............My GOD she sounds beautiful.
Seems Brandi is living the words of this song. I personally knew very little about Brandi other than she was a young lesbian country singer. I never really heard her sing, but I think Good 4 Her!!! Go get em girl!!! Shake country music up a Lil. Now ever since Naomi Judds unexpected death I see her everywhere with Wynonna, and I want 2 say Thank U!!! A beautiful, wise soul!!!! Keeping it Real!!!! Sending U & yours an Abundance of Love & Prayer!!!! 💜💜💜
This song was meant for this time. I gather it has a lot to do with LGBTQ and acceptance etc, but for me it's all about RIGHT NOW. Standing together during this world wide assault on all our freedoms. I cried listening to this. We will net be silent. We must stand together. God bless America.
Wow. The eye contact and feels and smiles between these two musical giants are to die for. This incredible song featuring voices and pianos and lyrics is utterly gorgeous and inspiring- yes, to perfection. Did I mention cinematography and cultural symbolism on point as well? This is a true 2020 treat!
Well my top 4 concerts all time were Procol Harum's 50th reunion with the Edmonton symphony orchestra, Rogers waters doing the Wall, Broken social scene at the Windspear, and Brandy Carlile at her first Edmonton folk fest(I always loved mad world and her cover was better then any version I've ever heard). Had never heard of her before that concert haven't missed a show of hers since in Edmonton, really cool to see her getting recognition all around. :) PS. She is even better live, if you get the chance go see her, so genuine and just a beautiful voice.
I love how Brandi looks impressed in front of Queen Alicia, one of the best singer alive 👑 true music lovers knows she's got rythm she's got harmony and most of all she's got heart.
If Grammys still promoted actual good music this would win Song of the Year hands down
Couldn’t agree more. This is one of the best songs out there

You have Alicia and Brandi, a great song, and wonderful imagery.
Awesome!!!
This song was meant for this time. I gather it has a lot to do with LGBTQ and acceptance etc, but for me it's all about RIGHT NOW. Standing together during this world wide assault on all our freedoms. I cried listening to this. We will net be silent. We must stand together. God bless America.
yes! ❤️
Wow. The eye contact and feels and smiles between these two musical giants are to die for. This incredible song featuring voices and pianos and lyrics is utterly gorgeous and inspiring- yes, to perfection. Did I mention cinematography and cultural symbolism on point as well? This is a true 2020 treat!
Oh that’s lovely 😊.....hello friend how are you doing today hope you’re having a wonderful day today I guess.....!
No makeup & fully dressed, these two are simply stunning and sound incredible.
?
Wow...absolutely
`Those thumbing down are so blind to see and hear a beautiful song. Too bad. Beautiful women with beautiful voices.
Beautiful message, awesome duet. 💜✨
This was amazing. From the sound, the words, to their voices, amazing! I never heard of Brandi, glad i know now.
As a fan of Brandi I’m so happy seeing her talent finally getting recognition in the comments

It is
The only thing better than these two ladies voices is the lyrics, the message.
They really have amazing voices
I’ve been listening to this song on repeat for 4 hours. Sooo good.
I make covers of her songs 🦋 welcome to my channel and subscribe 🙏🏽💕
Ladies!!!
Your collaboration is pure magic. I love the composition. Very poignant. We all have voices....I just hope we use them.
These voices together give me goosebumps. What a song. What a performance. 💪🏻❤️
Two of my favorite female artists weaving powerful truth at a moment when it's never been needed more acutely. Perfection.
Wow. What voices, what harmony, what lyrics! Wow.
Damn, That was absolutely incredible!🤯
Those harmonies give the song such depth. Absolutely incredible. Always come back to this song.
