Great vid mate. Just on the battery terminals, you could of just used some stud material and a nut to suit. You can then clamp as many cables as you like.
Hey mate thanks for the vid, very informative. Do you personally, or do you know, if you could run an ARB twin compressor off this in the back? I've only ever run my compressor off the main battery
Hi mate Yes I can, should be no problems. Te ABR twin compressor is listed to use Current Draw- Load/ No Load: 50/ 28 Amps. So looking at the stats, this should be no issue with appropriate wiring.
Hey mate! No we disconnected the shunt from almost new. Used to hate watching the volt gushed on the dash move around. Much rather have good steady voltage personally. I’m saying that, tons of people keep it connected without issues too.
Hey mate. Thank you! Honestly been a great little unit so far. No troubles or faults at all. We are heading in a 2 month trip shortly, so I’ll check back in with another follow up video once we are back I think 👍

Hi guys i own and have tested 4 of the itech120x. firstly they are great performers and opening them up are built well. clean bms pcb with big heatsink. neat wiring and laser welded busbars. they are a 2p 4s pack to 2 parallel cells of which 4 of those are in series so 8 cells total. i have had no issues pulling 145amp loads on my 3000w inverter running welders and induction cooktops etc. The battery is advertised as 120ah but 105ah usable to 10v at a 20hr rate. this means it is in fact a 105ah battery not 120ah. i have also removed the cell bank and bypassed the bms and have done a discharge test with a computer tester along side itechs 20hr rating which is 5amps discharge - from 14.4v down to 10v. my test was 103.6ah. this is basically a 105ah battery. not 120ah. that said the quality and price coupled with the higher 150amp continuous discharge rate i would still say compared to other 100ah batteries with a 100amp continuous discharge rate its still a good buy and you do get the 105ah usable they state. but i don't know why they say its a 120ah battery when its simply not. i am still happy with how mine perform and how solid they are built. the weight and 10v voltage cut off gives it away. i also at first thought it had a low amp cut off so 80% dod but no. the 10v cut off should have given that away but since all the specs are so mixed up on all their batteries i didn't think much of it at first. if you look at all the battery specs across the site there are many miss matched figures. i even bought the cranking battery and the sticker specs were way off from the online specs. same with the manuals on both my batteries and the cranking battery only had 26ah capacity when its advertised at 60ah so i sent it back of which they said it was faulty and would send another but i decided on a refund. i was not sure about the cranking battery as it charged and discharged to the correct voltages but did not give 60ah usable but instead 26ah.

Hey have you still got the smart alternator connected?
Hey mate! No we disconnected the shunt from almost new. Used to hate watching the volt gushed on the dash move around. Much rather have good steady voltage personally. I’m saying that, tons of people keep it connected without issues too.
Just wondering what size wiring you have from the front? 6BnS or 3BnS?
We went way (unnecessarily ) over sized. 0 B&S. But for a 5m run, Enerdrive say16-25mm2 for 50a output on the 40+ charger
Great vid mate. How is the battery going after a few months of use?
