      What's the best city to land Calgary or Vancouver for first time visitor?
      Also, please advise what's the situation of Wildfire in both the cities.
      Hopefully 1st week of September is appropriate time to visit Canada

      Most of the fires are in BC, but Alberta gets them too. Both cities are not in any danger of fires and both cities are affected by the smoke depending on the direction of the wind. As far as which city is best to visit, it really depends on your objective. Are you just visiting or moving to Canada?
