- This week we start our trek northbound on the ICW from Brunswick to Savannah, Georgia. For months and months now we have heard from fellow sailors and boaters alike that the Georgia ICW is, for lack of a better word, AWFUL! Well, we certainly get to find out if the truth is worth the hype! We have some awesome (and not so awesome!) close encounters with the wildlife and get to experience the true beauty of the rivers and inlets that make up the Intracoastal Waterway.

Love the coffee idea. I have beans from Sri Lanka, turned to my wife and asked if we have a popcorn popper? Immediately I realized an Air Fryer would do the same thing, and sure enough, someone wrote an article on how to do it.
You guys do such a great job showing the mechanics of sailing, cooking, and living on the boat. I've learned more from you than any of the other half dozen or more RUclipsr sailors I have followed.
Thank you so much for letting us into your adventures!
Wow, we can't tell you how much that means to us. We strive to make our videos fun and informative, and give a real picture of life on the water. It certainly isn't always pretty.
Please keep us updated about how well the air fryer works for your Sri Lanka beans! We don't have an air fryer onboard (our storage space is minimal) but I'm sure many people do!
Still Rockin it as usual 😅 Can't wait until you guys are off the coast!!!😎👍☮️🇨🇦
Thank you! We want to get off the coast too! We have some big projects to complete before we are able to stretch our legs again. ⛵
Wow, I never heard of roasting coffee in a popcorn popper. I will try that, Also another sailing crew love coffee. I will pass that on to them.
We've been doing it for years! Still use the same popper for popcorn too. We use a folded up piece of aluminum foil to keep the bean inside and let the chaff out. I don't remember how much we paid for the popper but pretty sure it was a Walmart/Target item.
What a lovely couple
Aw, thanks! What a lovely comment! 😁
so do you get coffee flavored popcorn? maybe with a little chocolate coating?
Not at all! Popcorn comes out perfect
ckass, love your dress code & pearls
Thank you!!! Paige has been wearing pearls for years (like 20!) and it's been her signature look even before we started all these shenanigans.
Paige: My wife Maria suffered serious cancer operation on her face
with the surgery from Ear to Ear.......She fine today she is good b I t I wat h you often Sun burned on your face so may I seriously suggest you
be more carefully and protective of your face & skin ( the both of you )
Peter Harkin of Harkin Marinr Hardware fame is married to a Dermatologist and Sells a formulated Sun Screen cream for sailors.
We do spend most of our time running from shade to shade and when we are out in the sun are keenly aware of our exposure. To be entirely honest, we're not big fans of sunscreen either. But we did find one recently that we are very keen on trying so we will definitely be wearing it in the future.
Where are you headed ?How far north? I can offer you berthing in Washington NC! let's talk
Thank you for the very kind offer! We're still working on some critical projects and are in kind of a holding pattern, but if we get done with it all we may take you up on that.
Sold my sailboat. Have lots of pearls! Just wish I’d thought to wear them. It’s a good look!
lol, you can always get another boat! Where do you hail from?
what bridle rope/ connection is that?
It's a Mantus M2 chain hook. It's a pretty awesome piece of kit. The bridal and anchor are also both Mantus products but the chain hook is universal based on the size of your anchor chain.
nothing like staying in the pink
🤣🤣🤣
Love sailing in pearls! Wish I'd done it !
Thank you! I do everything in my pearls! 😁 You should get yourself a strand of pearls and go sailing!!! 🤪
time to get a bug-a-salt gun!
Lol, I think we have enough salt in the boat! 🤣🤣🤣
You've got the best tender in the world, the OC Tender. That thing new is about 16k.
Seriously! We lucked out and got that bad boy with the purchase of the boat. It's super stable and can even carry 4 Adults + Winston!!!
@@pdgadventures What size it it?
@@robertlaird6746 it is the OC 330, which measures out to about 10' long.
@@pdgadventures The website says that a new 330 is 14k. It's a lifetime boat. Way better than any inflatable. Inflatables only last about 10 years and then the tubes need to be replaced. You might as well get a new one at that point. That's one of the reasons why the OC Tender is the best.
@@robertlaird6746 definitely! With good care, it will last as long as the boat. If/when we get a new boat we will probably invest in another OC when the time comes.
