May through early /mid July but June is definitely peak for our gardens in zone 7b, South Carolina. In our area, at current month of August, we still have some plants going strong but some are beginning to peter out with the consistent hot summer days .
Oh, Heidi! Your garden has exploded! So beautiful! Thanks so much for the tour. I’ll be watching this video again later with my husband. He enjoys your tours as well. We’ll be going to our local garden center tomorrow armed with ideas we’ve gotten from your tour. We live on Cape Cod, MA. Our gardens typically peak in August, although our Hydrangea Festival is held in July. Thanks, Heidi!❤
I wish you were my neighbor and I would drive you crazy trying to garden with you 😂😂..what a beautiful landscape and flowers you have created..So calming and restful.. I absolutely love your videos and the knowledge you share..Happy gardening from Orlando Florida 😊😊
I enjoy watching your home garden tours. This is my second time watching your video. I watched it once yesterday and I'm watching it again this morning. I'll probably watch it again tomorrow ....lol. Im NJ zone 7a. My front yard garden looks the best in the month of June. Some years it varies I guess to be a little more specific from Mother's Day to Father's Day... my front garden looks the best!!!
I'm in Nova Scotia, and last summer I was sad thinking my calla's wouldn't come back as I'd forgotten to take them in, but they all came back. I was stoked. lol
Hi Heidi 🌺. This tour looks wonderful in late July every things looks so pretty . I like may because in this month , flowers begin to bloom here in my country and also the begining of June when the hydrangeas bloom. Have afantastic day .🌻🌺🌻
@@gardencrossings Good morning Heidi here in Upper Galilee, we have amild climats , but the summer here is hot and now we have ahigh heat wave.Have a wonderful day .🌺🌻🌺
The Missouri Botanical Garden used to have a lythrum plant with a sign next to it stating that it was a noxious weed in Missouri and we aren't allowed to propogate or sell it.
May and June are prime flowering times in my southeastern NC, zone 8a garden. At this point, I'm just trying to keep plants from dying. Some things have already petered out.
WOW! Absolutely beautiful! I'm learning so many new words, names of different plants. Is there a way to assess the plants that you talked about in your videos do you list them or is there a website that maybe has pictures that go along with some of the words I'm hearing. And so I can order directly from you? 🌺
Hi Heidi, what is the size of your circle garden (the one with the dwarf lilacs, My Monet Purple Efects and the Limelight standard) in the backyard? Thank you.

That makes sense. It is hard to extend that late summer color

Up here in zone 3 I personally feel that August is the best.
That would make sense that August looks best in zone 3. You get a bit later start, I hope you can enjoy the gardens into the fall as well.
What a gorgeous garden! The size of those Hydrangeas is really impressive.
Thank you for walking through the garden with me
late May is my favorite month here in southern Missouri zone 6b /7a for the garden

It is a weed that many don't like. It stays in place in my garden.
My favorite is mid to late June with all my salvias are blooming 😍
So much color from salvias.
Love your garden tours Heidi! The clematis and of course the Peruvian Lilies look amazing! 😃😃😃

Absolutely beautiful garden !!

Agree July
I think this may vary based on where people live, but I am guessing zones 5/6 July would be best all around
May and June are prime flowering times in my southeastern NC, zone 8a garden. At this point, I'm just trying to keep plants from dying. Some things have already petered out.
I can see how those would be your prime months.
Love these monthly tours!
Wondering where to find one of those metal flower sculptures?
That was found at a local craft show years ago

That garden is about 10 feet wide
Do you protect your mountain hydrangea as over winter?
We do not protect it at all.
