These videos are just so helpful in showing us how the perennials perform over the entire growing season. Pink Diamonds continues to impress me. Thanks again for documenting your gardens!
Thank you for the great video! I have both the Sage Advice and the Denim' n Lace Russian sage and I am just blown away by the Sage Advice. It's so much more vibrant purple color and the blooms are bigger and fuller for me on sturdier stems. It's also in part shade location in my zone 5b garden and for a sun loving perennial this is quite extraordinary. What's sad is that I can't seem to find it anywhere in the garden centers around Chicago area and I went to more than 10 (Denim'n Lace can be found everywhere). 😕 I saw that you still offer it on your website and I really hope that Proven Winners don't discontinue it because it's such a gorgeous plant. 🌼
Another awesome garden tour. Garden crossings is hands down my favorite garden center, only thing I would change is that I would have found you guys sooner 😂
All these annuals and perennials are gorgeous. I live in Charlotte NC, we have such a long growing season, my petunias are looking a bit sad. But I loved them a few months after planting. I planted mine late April. I had a very similar them of petunias in the front.
I had to cut my panicle hydrangea tree back ( vanilla strawberry) sadly we got a rough storm a week ago and it was damaged . I may have to replace it and I’m so tempted by your beautiful bobos
Your sun must not get so hot as mine. We have a hundred and over coming up again. We got some amazing good rain the first 2 weeks of August, but its going to warm way back up. And we also have high heat index 110 to 117. Plus high humidity 😊
Hi!Beautiful work! Lovely tour! I would like to ask about 25:13 geranium. Is that sencond bloom? Do you cut it back already??? Waiting for your answer thank you !
Question.. One hydrangea had a dried flower, not enough water. My puffer fish has several dried flowers Do I cut them off or leave them? Planted new this year. Zone 4. Thanks
My chocolate drop coleus has done lost its mind!! It's huge! I also love my watermelon mini! It's not as mini I I thought it would be. And my Surefire Whites... OMG! That's just naming a few.. ❤️ 🤍 💙
Latte…with coffee cups and a cherry cordial. Too cute!
Beautiful garden tour.
Thank you

Heidi, your display gardens are beautiful and so inspiring! I wish all garden centers looked like this 😍
It takes a lot of time and investment to pull this off. We are dedicated to the beauty
Wow so beautiful thank you for another tour watching before going to work 👍🙏😊❤️ from Washington State
Thanks for letting us be a part of your day
All those flowers and so few butterflies!~ Maybe you should plant some host plants for the caterpillars.
She does have a butterfly garden where she raises them then releases them. 🌺💚🙃
@@judymckerrow6720 awesome
We have released over 900 Monarch so far this year. We have a ton of host plants in the gardens tucked in here and there.

You may be able to trim the petunias back and have them flush back out.
So inspirational and exciting to see will be expanding our garden for sure thank you!❤️🌺
I am glad that we could inspire you
Yes, this is a long video, but it’s so informative…taking notes for next year.
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful looking flowers!!!!
Thank you for watching

It should come back after a hard trim. We did a few videos last fall of hard trims on our hydrangeas and they are beautiful this year.
@@gardencrossings thank you very much ♥️
Phlox pinkadot is one of the best rebloomer long blooming flowers. I bought another half dozen this year!
I bet you garden looks amazing

We are in Michigan so we do not get killer hot like some areas
So beautiful. I wish I can go hydrangea… too hot here in Texas…
I get that. Lots of water would be needed

We did not trim it back, but these are a second flush of flowers
Love the allium!! Do they spread??
The clump gets larger each year
What is the secret to cone flowers? I just can’t keep them blooming. I love them!! One in a melon is gorgeous!!🌸
They start blooming mid July - August usually.
Heidi, do you cutback any of your petunias that are in the ground? The ones that I put in pots got so leggy.
We haven't had to, but of need be we would
How do you plant the annuals on top of the pergola?! I’ve always wanted to do this! But not sure how to pull it off!!
We have window boxes that fit between the slots. In the window boxes we have drip irrigation.
What kind of tree is planted behind the serendipity Allium and little lime punch hydrangea?
That is A Birch called Avalanche
Meteor Shower®
Verbena bonariensis
Is it a hardy perennial?
It is an annual in our area. You may see some reseeding occur
Question..
One hydrangea had a dried flower, not enough water. My puffer fish has several dried flowers
Do I cut them off or leave them? Planted new this year. Zone 4. Thanks
I would trim the spent blooms off

I think it has been an exceptional growing year even with the heat
