Finally “someone” shown Move as an instrument, like guitar with 4 strings or Vermona PerFourMer synth. (Not limited sequencer, sampler or whining on 4 tracks lol). Sorry I had to use someone, because this resolves “why” exists to all its other features. What you did making music is beautiful, mate! ❤ ….. I wish Ableton add more MIDI, incl ability to send chord from on instrument to other with other is arp locked and you start twisting them both … or 4 😊
Thank you for kind words. Glad you like the video! I'm actually an instrumentalist (play guitar, bass and piano), so I tend to use these electronic devices the same way I tend to play other instruments. It's a lot of fun :) I'm sure more features will be added in firmware updates. I'm really looking forward to that!
@@JohanWaveNice! I noticed you very flexible with notes. Also, I noticed layout you use and finally got it. I do put it all to scale and one per raw usually. While it cover most and handy, the layout you use can very liberating in give more space to move around. TNX!
Thank you, glad you like them. I record audio and video from Move - USB to computer (Ableton). Video from phone. Don’t know if it’s possible to go directly to iPhone, never tried it yet. But I know you can use it as an interface in Ableton. 😊
No, unfortunately. I tried. Would be nice 2way audio to the phone. Maybe my iPhone 14 is lightening, not USB-C. Though either way, I think it’s just matter of time. Ableton will do it. The ironed only few flows yet, but that few is huge indeed.
I doubt that a newer phone would help. It doesn’t work as an audio interface for my new iPad Pro (which has usb-c) either. I do hope that Ableton might add that feature in a firmware update in the future.
@@DavidParlin Thanks for confirming! I skip the phone 🤣 I hope so too. BTW, any issue on Mac? It messes up my audio interface with Live (Ultra M1, UAD TwinX, PreSonus 1824c). Need to stop Live when exchange files to Move over USB. Can’t add to aggregate device neither. Prolly 44.1 vs 48 kHz issue.
Yes it’s extremely immediate. Had it for a couple of weeks and end up making music every time I turn it on. I might do a keyboard/layout-tutorial for Move soon. 😊
I used to have a Circuit Tracks and switched to the MPC One, but I find I’m missing the opportunity to just sit in bed and work on ideas. Wonder if it would be worth it to get one of these in addition to my MPC setup.
I’ve never used Circuit Tracks but I can say that this device is very mobile and quick when it comes to making new music. You won’t regret getting one. :)
Dope! Best one out there. Would love to see more move videos!
Thank you ❤️🙏 More vids soon!
Awesome, Fantastic!! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!!!!! ❤️❤️🎶
Brilliant demo and I really want one!
Thank you! 🙏❤️ It’s a great instrument!
Wow thank you for this. I was able to reproduce this set exactly and have made a leap forward in my progress.
Glad you like the vid! Cool you were able to reproduce it. Good luck with your progress. More vids soon!

Drums…maybe next time on track four 😉
great move videos. how do you record video&audio? do you know if its possible to connect move directly to iphone as an audio interface for video?

Yesss. Move is so immediate. I'm not getting the keyboard layout though but if I end up buying it I'm sure a nice RTFM will do me.

@@JohanWave that would be nice. Interested in the different ways of playing the move which I look forward to exploring once the 2nd batch ships..
@@hubspin cool! Good luck with that. Move is very fun to use as a playable instrument, not just a looper or sketch pad.
@JohanWave ill watch that!
