@@kevincarballo8668 I clearly can’t visualise back to front lol. I was thinking the volume knob is on the right hand side, and he keeps signalling to the sound dude to crank it up. However; I now see, my right is Thom’s left. These cows are small, those cows are far away
He used to always use the Rhodes, probably because his vintage prophet 5 was too unreliable for live performance, but he might be using the newer 2020 version of the synth now, which is more stable in live situations
@@jibberish00 Actually he also used the Prophet 08 live, which makes sense. Who knows why he's using the Prophet 5 now, maybe it's just because he likes to switch his gear around, or he uses the Prophet 5 for the other songs he is performing by himself on tour.
Thanks for taking it as i was at the last row of the seating. Seeing how he could do it all on his own was astonishing. It was such a memorable night. Love it!
Happens during every live performance of "Everything...". Crowd clapping beat like it was a cheery tune. Clapping disappears to make room for proper despair.
This song lives so powerfully in our minds. Love to see him using these machines. I remember in 2009 in Sydney Radiohead played Kid A against the wishes of their record company, he dragged a modular rig onto stage and it was rough and a bit unrehearsed, but it brought the house down. Thanks for the vid!
You are so lucky to be at these concerts🙏🏻 This performance is perfection❣💃🏻🎵🏌️♀️💜 Thank you from the top, bottom , inside & out for sharing your wondrous experiences. 😻🏴
if only. I guess he just knows everyone is happy when he plays a few gems. But for the most part it seems he plays his own songs. I mean I guess the concert will be around 80 minutes long and from the videos on youtube he seems to play maybe 2-3 Radiohead songs.
MAGNIFICANT! ✨ The good news is; the next album involving Thom in any project will blast the globe! The bad news is; there won't be any wadiohead bcoz thm is the new tomitohead!
There are two Prophets playing on the original studio recording, panned hard left and right, playing identical notes (probably midi playback) but with different filter sounds. Just a guess but maybe he's recreating that here
@@Eldufo is this a fact? no wonder why it sounds so fricking good and i havent been able to recreate that sound on the prophet. i also heard he did the same thing on 'dawn chorus'. every note was recorded seperately on the prophet 6. now i wonder, maybe they just used 3-4 prophets to create the ultra wide phat sound? fricking bastards! eye opening though.
Weird that you say that since Thom and jonny's (and all radiohead) politics involvement has DRASTICALLY decreased in recent years. Now they just stand in the side of everything or just show mild acceptance with the wrong one (Israel over Palestine for example). I mean if people without their fame are being ignorant to important conflicts in our world, radiohead, with the power they have to influence their fans, are wasting their position to potentially change people's mind into realizing what's wrong rn in palestine
@@chinchirap yeah right because if there's one group of wrong-headed people that really need to get their politics in order, it's people who listen to radiohead. Hey here's an idea -- read my initial comment again, and then realize that you just took the opportunity to soap box about something completely unrelated. I'm talking about an artist who is displaying an intense devotion, decades-long, to the craft of his expression. I used the word 'political' in a very neutral sense here. And then you bring up Palestine. To quote Wayne Campbell, are you mental?
we're very lucky to has Thom in our world. he's a freak but very good at what he does
Thom knows where all the filter cutoff knobs are.
...but not much else
Pretty sure it was the volume knob on the P5 he was twiddling with for ages lol!
He’s tweaking the POLY MOD amount

Holy shit! Had no idea Thom was performing it this way! He had always done it on piano, this is fucking great. A mad scientist.

@@maxmeier532 I’m sure he used the ‘08, but I think the Rhodes was always to go-to for that song most of the time.
my fav KID A song

Waking up sucking on lemon since 2000 and still such a great song and performance.

the lyrics are political but I feel there's an ethics on display here that is deeply non-political. It sometimes is called craft.
