Been following your videos since we got our gsd puppy who is now 5 months. Even with all the controversy of the prong collar my husband and I decided to give it a try. A day or two training with it we now rarely have to correct him! Your other videos have been so helpful too. Thanks for sharing!

how would you reward a dog that does not want to eat treats while on a walk ?

You need to get something that the dog responds to. A lot don’t respond to normal treats in the house when they are outside. We do bland boiled chicken or peanut butter when outside when they interact with people/other dogs. They’re starting to respond to normal treats because they are getting better with the training.

I have a East European Shepherd, 10 month old and 40kg... can't imagine putting a prong collar on her. Why would I ever want to give her pain when you can teach a dog like you just showed?
