The kind of hurtful comments you describe in essence only reflect negatively on the person who makes them, and not on you. As far as I'm concerned, your channel is entertaining and interesting and reflects the genuine enthusiasm of a decent, articulate man for probably the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen. I very rarely comment anywhere. But after listening to the end, I just had to throw in my two cents. First, I absolutely love your Elvis reactions. I found Elvis in my early teens and I'm an old lady now. His singing has memorized me for many, many years. It never grows old. And I love hearing you talk about each clip you show. I also enjoy seeing the display behind you. I made a point of showing my son one day all your figures and he loved it too. Him and his dad were very big movie fans. And like someone already said, haters are going to hate. That's all that do. I know it's easier said than done, but please, please don't let anything they say get to you. Some people never learned the lesson that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. Keep doing what you're doing. I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to you.

He really was and is the most ultimate performer. It’s a shame people have to be so nasty. You can hide them I believe and if it gets too bad you can report it to U tube. I know it happened to someone else and eventually U tube blocked them or made them hidden so people can’t see them unless they want to. You are a lovely , polite and respectful man. The more popular people get, others who can’t succeed have to go after others that do. After awhile the Elvis fans ( a very strong and tough family) will make life difficult for them , so just ignore them and do what you do best. Your loving reactions to beloved Elvis. ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊

My partner used to be a training facilitator and he was brilliant. But inevitably there’d be one or two negative people in the group and my partner would work his butt off trying to turn these negative sods around. I told him, just focus on the positive ones, they’re the ones getting the most out of your session. So, my advice to you …. focus on those of who love your Elvis reactions, they’re the ones getting the most enjoyment from your genuine efforts. 💕

Good morning Nick! While listening to the close of your video, my heart sunk. I have seen my fair share of such comments when viewing various channels. It’s always most surprising to me when they come from an Elvis fan. People come from many different emotional places. Who knows what fuels such anger in a person that they are compelled to diminish another. I know only that I look so very forward to your videos because I crave high caliber commentary. It’s not about getting all the details regarding Elvis right. We can leave that up to the historians. When all of the Presley facts settle, it’s about appreciating a very magical human being whose own acts of kindness are unequalled. You Nick are a most excellent conduit for that kindness. Great video as always, thanks. As a lifelong Elvis fan I would like to qualify your comment about "peak Elvis" in 1968. In 1968 Elvis was hungry. The black leathers shows of the 1968 NBC TV Special marked his return to live performances and like a predator he devoured his prey.
For Elvis these performances also marked a new evolution: that of a performer. Elvis knew that the music world had changed and that he would not be able to blow stadiums away with the way he had been performing in the '50s. And Elvis also wanted to make the transition to a more mature repertoire and a more contemporary sound.
Elvis' first performances in July/August of 1969 were still close to the energy and raw and unpolished sound of the black leather shows but in the Las Vegas series thereafter (January/February 1970, August 1970) and the first stadium tours he developed further as a performer. For me, Elvis reaches his "peak" as a performer during the stadium tours in November 1971 and the period April (On Tour) - June 1972 (Madison Square Garden). Personally, that is his absolute top as a performer. In the 1973 to 1975 time frame (and during the New Year's show 1976-1977 in Pittsburgh) he occasionally reaches that level, but routine also creeps into his performance. In 1976 and 1977 you see that his health plays an increasingly key role, although his voice sometimes sounds more powerful and fuller than ever. And please, DO NOT MIND the idiots 🙂

Love all of Elvis's various renditions of "Lawdy Miss Clawdy." Really appreciate the effort you take on your video reactions; used to do a lot of video uploading & I know how time-consuming it can be especially given YT's inclination to block them sometimes at odds with others of the same video that don't get blocked. Can't imagine the extra time required to give reactions to them. You're my favorite You Tube reactor (and I watch a lot of reactor videos;) your reactions are always genuine & you come across as a very nice person. Never understood haters or trolls...if you don’t like something just don’t go there. I can tell you that you come across as you intend, a very nice person. And what comes across too, very clearly, is that you enjoy very much watching Elvis. And that is the whole point!
If someone is bitter enough as to be mean to people they don’t even know that are enjoying something...well, their energy, in my opinion, is wasted and it is their loss.

From personal experience, the majority of Elvis fans are kind-hearted. However, I've personally come some downright disgustingly horrible 'fans'.
I head over to mums every Sunday for dinner. About 8pm, she pops on RUclips to watch the latest Elvis Sunday episode. Keep doing what you do.

I love both yrs. -- both so different -- what a change from '68 to Hampton Roads in '72, not only in looks obviously, but his voice, too. Wile I love '68, I'm a sucker for '72. The story about the use of the word "toenail" is that when Elvis sang 'goodbye Tarnelle darling' (Tarnelle is the woman's name), Scotty Moore thought Elvis said toenail, everyone thought that was very funny so they kept it that way. I didn't listen to Lloyd Price, who wrote the song, but listening to Fats Domino, it sounds like he's saying toenail (if you slow it down & listen real close, you can hear Tarnelle).
Sorry about your bad experience. I'm guessing this person has some serious psychological issues of their own. You happen to be in the minority of reactors who has an excellent channel. And if I haven't said this before, I say it now: the opening of your channel is not only the ultimate best, it should win a blue ribbon for the best beginning to a reactor channel.

Hi - the original by Lloyd Price was "...goodbye Tarnelle (the woman's name) darlin'..." but the story is that Scotty Moore thought Elvis said "toenail," everyone thought that it was very funny so they kept it that way. I listened to Fats Domino do it & it too sounds like toenail, but listen real close & slow it down & you'll hear Tarnell.

The toenail explanation is noted in a # of places & it sounds perfectly fitting considering whom we are dealing with & what went on during rehearsals. And I just listened to Lloyd Price's version -- that too sounds like "toenail." Much of the lyrics on Price's original version are very different -- & what Elvis did w-the changes is masterful -- much better than the original, not to mention the bouncy-ness, the power & emotion that were lacking in Lloyd & Fat's versions.

72 and 74 version way better. Has the Orchestra and full band behind it
