Dee, their mother, divorced their father and married Vernon, Elvis father. I heard Rick Stanley preach at a local church, where he autographed a book for me. Rick changed his life around and quit drugs with the help of Robin Moye, who became his wife. Rick was living in Florida. It took Elvis dying for Rick to clean up his act, and accepted Christ as his savior.
