    I started fillers in 2008, and Juvederm was the filler to get. I had it done by a plastic surgeon, an MD. She just filled my nasolabial folds as they were becoming obvious by age 60. It is true, it does last a lot longer than claimed, as I noted with surprise that 5 years later my nasolabial folds had not gotten any worse. Now 15 years later, I do have a depression in the nasolabial area as well as marionette lines. I hadn't hadn't had any other filler there since. At age 75 trying to keep up is pretty much a lost cause. Hair is now grey and I see Granny in the mirror. Point is, I really didn't have any problems with Juvederm at that time. Maybe later "improvements". Now I see how the fillers were not all they were hyped up to be and glad I didn't do more.

    I personally had a horrendous experience with volux in my nose 6 years ago. Just awful stuff.

    Dr, would you recommend revanesse ultra for undereyes? I know an injector who only uses thisfor that area.

    Interesting, do you think filler could add a more pleasing look to someone with a long mid Face , would the jar be a good place to have it

      if you have a thin upper lip and a long philtrum, you may look into lip lift surgery, it can fix the long midface look

    What’s the gold standard in your opinion for a chin filler? Revanesse? What about Bellafill?

      Definitely Revanesse, I made a long video explaining Dermal fillers if you're interested.

    I can attest to voluma . Everytime my immune system was run down my eye filler would swell. 13 years and I decided it's got to go. I then had hyaluronidase to desolve under tear troph it desolved half of my face. I'm deeply profoundly devastated. It's deflated my own natural tissue and HA. I look 15 years older. Please 💜 ladies don't use hyaluronidase unless your with an experience doctor...it's brutal.

    I bet my immune system knew i had a new substance in my body.... 😢

    Do these fillers ever get absorbed naturally over the years? Thanks

      Broken down, yes. Absorbed? No

    Oh wow. It’s great that revanesse is less likely to cause an immune reaction. It’s also pre hydrated which is good . I’m dealing w a belotero nightmare ( the idiot Dr injected it very superficially and created lumps that I cannot get rid of with Hyaluronidase). Maybe it’s an immune reaction bc as you said some filler , especially when poorly injected, do that.

    • @Dr_Abs
      @Dr_Abs  5 месяцев назад +1

      Could also be that the body has created a sort of capsule around the filler that renders the hyaluronidase unable to penetrate to the hyaluronic acid for the dissolving
