Dice was never the problem they all had great plans for BF2 and ideas for great upcoming characters like Padme/Ahsoka and Ventress but EA being greedy had to pull the plug just so they could cash grab off the monstrosity that is Battlefield 2042
I take looong breaks then return at times. It's always interesting seeing new players till this day. Toxic players and high levels are still 4 stacking as usual. We go back to SWBF2 cuz it's a decent game yet we really wan't SWBF3!!
I still play this game pretty much everyday. I play it to complete the daily challenges. My favorite ones are the hero related ones. Like play five rounds of Heroes vs. Villains, play as Lando Calrissian, defeat an enemy player as Emperor Palpatine, play three rounds of Heroes vs. Villains.
I'll never forget my journey with this game back then, with the updates bringing new stuff, but also new bugs/broken things to laugh at (Anakin's release, or the lightsaber changes that caused lots of bugs lmao) or the community's reaction when it was bb8 and bb9 and not any other popular star wars character I got it around release but i didn't play it often until few months later after Geonosis update where I started playing a lot I will miss those days!
I’ve played Battlefront 2 for ages and I was uploading regularly until late last year! I mainly play Battlefront 2015 nowadays and I’m going to play mods for the OG Battlefront games! Your points pretty much summed up while I still play Battlefront and it is how I have some amazing online gaming friends to this day from 6-7 years ago ❤️ You, Sammy and Battlefront 2 as a whole were a big part of helping me get through my depression and while I’m still on medication for them, I’ve been in a good mental state for 4-5 years now. Id love to see a old republic era battlefront, imagine a old sith/jedi oriented different force oriented class kind of like swtor but its own thing battlefront style, theres so many possiblities game companies have but the sad tragedy is most do the least amount of work, scrub and reuse assets, reshade things and call it “high def” its just pathetic these days, as a kid games had meaning they had story they had authenticity but now its just for most games doing pathetic chores, for shit loot, and everything is replayable within 10 hours, no joke take when they said hogwarts legacy would be 70+ hours of gameplay, i beat all main quest and side got all loot in 7 hours plaid, pathetic and sad on game developers these days theres no joy in games anymore its what can make the most amount of money for the coolest trailers and concept art then the actual product is mainly a heap of a dumpster fire turd these days saddest part for legacy was i had so much joy and hype for it and was so excited they finally made a rp hogwarts expierence, ya that was not worth the 70 bucks…
Hey TJ. I still love this game and can’t stop playing about 5 nights a week. It’s hard to break away from this game because of how well it was made and captures so many things I love about Star Wars. Despite some flaws, I think this game is a masterpiece in so many factors of and it’s reflected in the staying power of fans and players. I still get on to a full lobby in under 30 seconds on XBox. Thanks for bringing attention to this issue and best regards to you, mate.
That opening level you’re playing on for heroes and villains is my personal favorite jump off level all the way up through the sequence to Tatooine.. sometimes up to the Naboo Palace.
I rarely ever play my Xbox nowadays since I have a PS5 but I renewed my subscription recently JUST to play Battlefront 2. Got the game at launch and played it almost everyday during my 8th grade year and early high school, the story of it is absolutely insane. We came from forced microtransactions and locked heroes to having a live service each month and finally getting a proper skill system. I will always love this game, I have an amazing time whenever I get the chance to play
Love the game played it since if first came out so I saw how it began and saw how it was left crazy to think how far it went currently at time of writing this I have 3827 hours in and rising usually play on the weekends due to work always fun yeah you get some toxic players and some full teams on hvv but it’s always fun destroying them 😂 mainly main grievous and Luke both max and then I think my other heros are over 100 or under blasters are under I know that also partial to a few on ewok hunt sometimes to but it’s mainly hvv for me

A. It’s a good infrastructure and kind of fun even if it’s obviously unfinished B. Hoping the right people will finally ok and make a third one C. Battlefront Collection made us go home and rethink our lives D. All of the above
No progression that matters. No ranked. No content. No new maps. No new characters (of which theres literally 6,000,000,000,000,000,000 in star wars), zero creativity (same crap sticking to the movie stuff) no interesting character development in the story, not canon so 0 impact at the end. Boring game
