é bem parecida sim regulei a minha para 100 bar e deixei esta abertura, agora consigo em media 60 regulados, com chumbo rifle Premium series de 18,67gr, com 800 fps.

Alguns destes programas são bem antigos (década de 1990), mas talvez ainda seja possível achar fazendo buscas com o google. Devem existir programas bem melhores atualmente.
That stiffer output valve spring came along with the regulator. I think the maker have tried various springs until find the one which gave the best results, at least that is how I would do it.
So, when you fill the cylinder before re-inserting it, the pressure pushes the regulator, the regulator pushes the output valve and that's how the pressure doesn't allow the 1mm gap to be closed upon screwing the cylinder back in place, is that correct?

Na minha BT65 estou carregando o cilindro de ar até 190bar, e com 30 (regulados) ela chega em 120bar. Daí para frente a velocidade começa a variar mais, porém ainda é possível mais tiros. Não mudei nada além da mola da válvula de saída. Se a mola da válvula de saída da sua BT já foi trocada pela que acompanha a reguladora, talvez precise reduzir a força do martelo para gastar menos ar. Verifique também se não há vazamentos de ar no cilindro. É interessante cronografar atirando uma carga de 200 a 90bar e saber quantos tiros regulados e em que pressão a velocidade começa a variar mais, para ver se o ajuste da reguladora está em torno de 120-130bar. Caso esteja ajustado para pressão muito acima de 130bar provavelmente não terá um ganho em autonomia (porém nunca testei isto).
Oi Jorge, nunca testei isto, interessante. O JSB de 15,89gr agrupa bem com sua BT? Estou testando chumbos mais leves agora que a minha está com regulador, tomara que ela goste de maior variedade de chumbos para não ficar preso só no Baracuda.
+Airgun Shooting And Related Activities sempre uso o de 15.89. agrupamento exelente. na minha opinião o melhor é o jsb de 18.13 porém ele gasta mais ar.
From 13:55 the video shows the performance with pressure starting at 200 bar and ending at 100 bar for a total of 40 shots, the spread was 30 fps. From 200 to 120 bar (regulated shots) the spread was 14 fps. The regulator pressure is said to be set to 130 bar from factory.

I don't know, I suggest you to source a variety of springs and experiment. Stronger output valve springs reduces power and vice versa. Try adjusting the hammer spring tension first.

Não conheço a P10, mas se o regulador e o cilindro forem semelhantes aos do vídeo é possível que precise deixar um pequeno espaço. Pelo que percebi, as vezes basta retirar o o'ring da válvula de saída, mas deixar a folga, ou então fazer um canal na rosca,da valvula de saída garante um respiro mais eficiente. Faz tempo que estou para editar outro vídeo sobre reguladores, espero conseguir até julho, daí mostro algumas coisas a mais relacionadas ao assunto.
Boa noite, eu aqui mais uma vez perturbando, se puder me ajudar agradeço muito, instalei minha reguladora do Zeca a 6 meses atrás, hoje acabei de trocar todo kit oring do cilindro mas fiquei chateado quando vi o vazamento entre a disparadora e o corpo do cilindro de alumínio, pode me dar uma luz do q pode ser? Imagino ser algo de errado com a reguladora do Zeca uma vez q retiramos o oring q fica na disparadora. Desde já agradeço muito vc tem me ajudado sempre q preciso
Boa noite, pelo que entendi o cilindro de alumínio é aquele que fica entre a válvula reguladora e a disparadora (plenum), certo? Se for este o caso, e os dois o'rings do plenum estejam em bom estado, pode ser que a reguladora tenha ficado um pouco mais ao fundo do cilindro de ar, perdendo contato com a base da disparadora e portanto sem vedação (não é possível encher o cilindro). Se for isto, tente puxar a reguladora um pouco mais e rosqueie a disparadora mantendo o cilindro inclinado. Verifique também o estado do o'ring maior da reguladora, as vezes ele é danificado quando a reguladora é inserida e passa pela rosca do cilindro de ar. Boa sorte e bom reparo.
Nunca he usado ni probado una válvula reguladora Hatsan, pero me parece buena. Lane Regulators solía ser muy buena, es interesante revisar sus productos y materiales informativos en su sitio web: laneregulators.com/
Installing a regulator allows you to fill your air cylinder to more than 200 BAR without any valve lock issues. Hatsan air cylinders are rated at 300 BAR and can be removed and safely degassed in any case. I routinely fill my regulated BT65 air cylinder to 250 BAR for extra shot count. There is no logical reason not to fit a regulator to a Hatsan PCP rifle and I don't understand why they are not fitted in the factory at the time of production.
I agree Hatsan could sell regulated air rifles, they already make their own regulators so would be very easy to include it at production line. I don't know if the regulator on this video is rated to more than 200 bar (there is almost no info on it at the site), and as I have a compressor at the range I always fill to 200 bar or less (the compressor has a safety valve set at 220 bar).
Hello ,thought about wat is happening if your gun is heating up (in the sun or something)after you fill it up to 250 bar, the pressure will rise more ,it is not wise to go over the factory recommendation.
Excelente vídeo!!! Eu tenho uma válvula dessa na minha, o problema é que sempre dá vazamento com uns 03 meses e tem que trocar os orings da válvula. A sua acontece isso? Estou até pensando em retirar a válvula.
Nesse regulador não tive nenhum problema, em outro (modelo anterior) para a AT44 4,5mm tive problemas sim, o tempo de recuperação dele era muito lento, não descobri a causa e troquei por um da Lane. Este para a BT65 é excelente.

Hi MHC, if your regulator is the same as shown in this video, the spring is actually harder and would reduce velocity even more. Probably the cause of the low velocity lies at another place (regulator pressure setting too low, something restricting air flow, hammer spring tension...). I suggest you to remove the regulator (what brand and model is it?), verify if the air rifle is working ok without it, check regulator pressure setting, and re-install it following the instruction manual carefully.

If the regulator has the same design as the one in this video, remove the output valve's o'ring. Otherwise the regulator's spring chamber will not be able to reach the atmospheric pressure to "breath", and the regulator will eventually fail. The reason for changing the output valve spring is to help in achieving an optimum balance to a better efficiency. In the case of the Hatsan BT65 .22 without power restriction (as mine) and the Zeca regulator set to 130 bar, the output valve spring supplied with the regulator kit is stronger than the original spring, offering more resistance when the valve is hit by the hammer. My BT65 shot count is about 35, from 200 to 130 bar, a small increase from before installing the regulator, but with a flat power curve (47 Joules). If your BT65 is same model as mine, .22 without power restriction, a regulator set to 120 bar should allow for about 40 regulated shots (~43J) from 200 to 120 bar, but you may need to increase the compression of the output valve spring, and/or reduce the tension of the hammer spring. What is the power your rifle is developing?

My BT65 .22 without regulator or any modifications had a shot count of 30 shots from 200 to 100bar, and a velocity curve with a spread of 40 m/s (131 fps), using H&N Baracuda 1,37g (21,14 grains) pellets. At that time I usually filled the air cylinder to 180 bar and had about 15 to 18 good shots (the "sweet spot") down to ~125bar with a velocity spread of about 12 m/s (39 fps). After installing the regulator I get 30-35 regulated shots with a spread of less than 6 m/s (20 fps) from 200 to 120 bar. I believe you can get about 25 regulated shots with your current setup, without further modifications to your BT65, what sure is an improvement over the original unregulated BT65. But if your goal is to increase shot count, some modification is needed, as I stated before you can increase the compression of the output valve (by using some sort of spacer or substituting for a stronger spring), and if necessary reducing the compression of the hammer spring. Não mudei nada, instalei como veio da loja e tem funcionado muito bem na BT65. Experimente instalar sem mudar o ajuste e teste com vários tipos de chumbo por algumas semanas (alguns chumbos que antes não agrupavam podem dar bons resultados com o regulador instalado), se tudo correr bem não vai precisar mudar nada.

Obrigado!! Estou gostando de atirar com PCPs com válvula reguladora, recomendo sim. Quanto ao agrupamento, costuma melhorar, mas geralmente é necessário ajustar a potência da arma para chegar nos melhores resultados. A quantia de tiros regulados depende da potência e eficiência do sistema todo, por exemplo com um regulador ajustado em 150bar e a mola do martelo ajustada para maior tensão, a arma vai ter bastante potência mas poucos tiros regulados. Com o regulador em 100bar e reduzindo a força com que o martelo atinge a válvula de saída é possível conseguir muitos tiros regulados, porém com potência também reduzida. Para mim o ideal é tentar ajustar a potência para o melhor agrupamento nas distâncias que costumo atirar, usando o chumbo que proporciona os melhores resultados, ao mesmo tempo tentando encontrar o ajuste mais equilibrado para ter maior eficiência no consumo de ar. Existe também a possibilidade de modificar as aberturas de passagem de ar entre a válvula de saída e a porta de transferência (inclusive esta), para melhorar a autonomia, mas nunca fiz nada em relação a isto. Ainda vou fazer um vídeo sobre como estes ajustes infuenciam autonomia e potência, falta estudar mais um pouco fazer uns testes para ter material suficiente. Parabéns pela BT65, é uma arma excelente, forte abraço!!
Thank you Michal! The original output valve spring is Hatsan BT65 part number 2332. I think it is easier to have a gunsmith make a replacement one than find a place that sells it. I didn't found any searching on Google.
Thank you Brenda! I left it at the factory default pressure of 130 bar. This air rifle still needs to have its muzzle velocity reduced a little, by adjusting the hammer spring tension.
About 35 regulated shots, without any adjustment to the BT65 or the regulator valve. Shot count can be improved by lowering the hammer spring tension, at the cost of also lowering power.

Obrigado Izael! Depende de um monte de coisas, mas basicamente o número de tiros é inversamente proporcional a potência ajustada, independentemente de usar ou não um regulador. No caso de a AT44 estar conseguindo somente 10 tiros sem regulador é bem provável que esteja ajustada para potência bem alta, se reduzir a tensão da mola do martelo para reduzir a potência, pode conseguir mais tiros mesmo sem regulador. A vantagem do regulador é que você tem muito menos variação de velocidade enquanto a pressão do ar no cilindro estiver acima da pressão do regulador. Abraço!!
Great info. One of the best do-it-yourself mods for an air rifle I have seen so far. It looks like the bt 65 might have a threaded barrel. Any chance of it being able to take a silencer? I have heard it puts out over a hundred db's. Not a back yard friendly rifle!
Thanks! Yes the BT65 has a 1/2" UNF threaded barrel for suppressors, muzzle breaks or air strippers, and it is very loud at full power. Even with a regulator, its noise is uncomfortable at indoor ranges, definitely not back yard friendly! I always use a suppressor. Mais um bom vídeo - perfeito. Como disse no mais recente filme sobre a reguladora para a AT44, uma pena não dispor de reguladora para a Sumatra. Estive pensando - o sonho é ter uma válvula reguladora na PCP ... MAS me ocorreu agora, se você considerou o volume "perdido" no cilindro, ocupado por ela agora. Certamente continua a ser vantajoso seu uso mas o cilindro, já de volume pequeno, agora fica menor. Pode comentar ?
Amigo, tenho um at44w, e coloquei a valvula do zeca. 260 m/s com jsb exact heavy. da em torno de 30 tiros tambem. Em 45 metros coloco dois ovos e com tres tiros quebro eles. sempre atiro a 45 metros por causa do meu terreno e é um tiro em cima do outro. Sempre apoiado. Meu irmao tambem tem uma e colcou a valvula depois que viu eu atirar. kkk. inveja pura.
Obrigado! Bom, eu uso um compressor elétrico para encher as PCPs e só atiro com ele por perto, então nem me preocupei com mudanças na autonomia :-). Pelo que pude observar, o problema de redução no volume do cilindro é mais considerável se pretender usar bastante potência no tiros, o regulador teria que ser ajustado para uma pressão alta e provavelmente a quantia de tiros bons seria igual ou menor do que sem o regulador. No caso da BT65 .22, a autonomia aumentou um pouco, a potência média abaixou cerca de 30 m/s, porém a variação na velocidade passou de mais de 20 m/s em 30 tiros para menos de 6 m/s em 35 tiros. Para mim a vantagem é para o uso do regulador, mas gostaria de ter um segundo cilindro sem regulador para aqueles tiros em potência máxima (você que tem uma Sumatra sabe que é divertido destruir alguns alvos!!).
Vi novamente os vídeos do seu compressor. Nossa ! legal mesmo, mas caro que doí ... ou não - a bomba doí muito ! Então, não conseguindo comprar o compressor e não aguentando acionar a bomba já pela idade avançada, resolvi comprar um scuba de 11 litros da Rossi. Por sorte na minha cidade tenho um amigo que tinha uma loja de mergulho - fechou mas manteve o compressor e algumas coisas. Hoje presta serviço pra muita gente e cobra 50 reais pra encher meu cilindro. Estou contente.
With my BT65 it is a good velocity for Baracuda Match 5,53mm. I think works ok from 27 to 52J (though I've tried that only with a HW100 that likes Baracudas also).

I just saw it at Pyramid Air, and from the photos I think it installs similar to the regulator in my video, one difference is the link from the regulator to the output valve. The Hatsan regulator output must be inserted into the air cylinder output valve, to do so you must remove the plastic cap that holds the output valve spring (the white one in the AT44, black and threaded in the BT65). Best and safest thing to do is to contact Hatsan asking for an instruction manual of their product.

Yes, that's right. Always that the cylinder is completely empty it's better to fill it before inserting into the air rifle.

at 200 bar and ending at 100 bar for a total of 40 shots, the spread was
30 fps. From 200 to 120 bar (regulated shots) the spread was 14 fps.
The regulator pressure is said to be set to 130 bar from factory.

I don't know, I suggest you to source a variety of springs and experiment. Stronger output valve springs reduces power and vice versa. Try adjusting the hammer spring tension first.

Não conheço a P10, mas se o regulador e o cilindro forem semelhantes aos do vídeo é possível que precise deixar um pequeno espaço. Pelo que percebi, as vezes basta retirar o o'ring da válvula de saída, mas deixar a folga, ou então fazer um canal na rosca,da valvula de saída garante um respiro mais eficiente. Faz tempo que estou para editar outro vídeo sobre reguladores, espero conseguir até julho, daí mostro algumas coisas a mais relacionadas ao assunto.

Boa noite, eu aqui mais uma vez perturbando, se puder me ajudar agradeço muito, instalei minha reguladora do Zeca a 6 meses atrás, hoje acabei de trocar todo kit oring do cilindro mas fiquei chateado quando vi o vazamento entre a disparadora e o corpo do cilindro de alumínio, pode me dar uma luz do q pode ser? Imagino ser algo de errado com a reguladora do Zeca uma vez q retiramos o oring q fica na disparadora. Desde já agradeço muito vc tem me ajudado sempre q preciso
Boa noite, pelo que entendi o cilindro de alumínio é aquele que fica entre a válvula reguladora e a disparadora (plenum), certo? Se for este o caso, e os dois o'rings do plenum estejam em bom estado, pode ser que a reguladora tenha ficado um pouco mais ao fundo do cilindro de ar, perdendo contato com a base da disparadora e portanto sem vedação (não é possível encher o cilindro). Se for isto, tente puxar a reguladora um pouco mais e rosqueie a disparadora mantendo o cilindro inclinado. Verifique também o estado do o'ring maior da reguladora, as vezes ele é danificado quando a reguladora é inserida e passa pela rosca do cilindro de ar. Boa sorte e bom reparo.

Installing a regulator allows you to fill your air cylinder to more than 200 BAR without any valve lock issues. Hatsan air cylinders are rated at 300 BAR and can be removed and safely degassed in any case. I routinely fill my regulated BT65 air cylinder to 250 BAR for extra shot count. There is no logical reason not to fit a regulator to a Hatsan PCP rifle and I don't understand why they are not fitted in the factory at the time of production.

Eu tenho uma válvula dessa na minha, o problema é que sempre dá vazamento com uns 03 meses e tem que trocar os orings da válvula.
A sua acontece isso? Estou até pensando em retirar a válvula.
Nesse regulador não tive nenhum problema, em outro (modelo anterior) para a AT44 4,5mm tive problemas sim, o tempo de recuperação dele era muito lento, não descobri a causa e troquei por um da Lane. Este para a BT65 é excelente.

Hi MHC, if your regulator is the same as shown in this video, the spring is actually harder and would reduce velocity even more. Probably the cause of the low velocity lies at another place (regulator pressure setting too low, something restricting air flow, hammer spring tension...). I suggest you to remove the regulator (what brand and model is it?), verify if the air rifle is working ok without it, check regulator pressure setting, and re-install it following the instruction manual carefully.

If the regulator has the same design as the one in this video, remove the output valve's o'ring. Otherwise the regulator's spring chamber will not be able to reach the atmospheric pressure to "breath", and the regulator will eventually fail. Thank you. Any adjustable regulator can do it, if you decrease its regulating pressure and decrease the airgun power to balance the system.

The reason for changing the output valve spring is to help in achieving an optimum balance to a better efficiency. In the case of the Hatsan BT65 .22 without power restriction (as mine) and the Zeca regulator set to 130 bar, the output valve spring supplied with the regulator kit is stronger than the original spring, offering more resistance when the valve is hit by the hammer. My BT65 shot count is about 35, from 200 to 130 bar, a small increase from before installing the regulator, but with a flat power curve (47 Joules). If your BT65 is same model as mine, .22 without power restriction, a regulator set to 120 bar should allow for about 40 regulated shots (~43J) from 200 to 120 bar, but you may need to increase the compression of the output valve spring, and/or reduce the tension of the hammer spring. What is the power your rifle is developing?

My BT65 .22 without regulator or any modifications had a shot count of 30 shots from 200 to 100bar, and a velocity curve with a spread of 40 m/s (131 fps), using H&N Baracuda 1,37g (21,14 grains) pellets. At that time I usually filled the air cylinder to 180 bar and had about 15 to 18 good shots (the "sweet spot") down to ~125bar with a velocity spread of about 12 m/s (39 fps). After installing the regulator I get 30-35 regulated shots with a spread of less than 6 m/s (20 fps) from 200 to 120 bar.
I believe you can get about 25 regulated shots with your current setup, without further modifications to your BT65, what sure is an improvement over the original unregulated BT65. But if your goal is to increase shot count, some modification is needed, as I stated before you can increase the compression of the output valve (by using some sort of spacer or substituting for a stronger spring), and if necessary reducing the compression of the hammer spring.

Não mudei nada, instalei como veio da loja e tem funcionado muito bem na BT65. Experimente instalar sem mudar o ajuste e teste com vários tipos de chumbo por algumas semanas (alguns chumbos que antes não agrupavam podem dar bons resultados com o regulador instalado), se tudo correr bem não vai precisar mudar nada.

Obrigado!! Estou gostando de atirar com PCPs com válvula reguladora, recomendo sim. Quanto ao agrupamento, costuma melhorar, mas geralmente é necessário ajustar a potência da arma para chegar nos melhores resultados.
A quantia de tiros regulados depende da potência e eficiência do sistema todo, por exemplo com um regulador ajustado em 150bar e a mola do martelo ajustada para maior tensão, a arma vai ter bastante potência mas poucos tiros regulados. Com o regulador em 100bar e reduzindo a força com que o martelo atinge a válvula de saída é possível conseguir muitos tiros regulados, porém com potência também reduzida. Para mim o ideal é tentar ajustar a potência para o melhor agrupamento nas distâncias que costumo atirar, usando o chumbo que proporciona os melhores resultados, ao mesmo tempo tentando encontrar o ajuste mais equilibrado para ter maior eficiência no consumo de ar.
Existe também a possibilidade de modificar as aberturas de passagem de ar entre a válvula de saída e a porta de transferência (inclusive esta), para melhorar a autonomia, mas nunca fiz nada em relação a isto.
Ainda vou fazer um vídeo sobre como estes ajustes infuenciam autonomia e potência, falta estudar mais um pouco fazer uns testes para ter material suficiente.

Yes, but the muzzle velocity will start to vary, as the regulator valve stops working when the air cylinder pressure is under the regulating pressure.

Obrigado Izael! Depende de um monte de coisas, mas basicamente o número de tiros é inversamente proporcional a potência ajustada, independentemente de usar ou não um regulador. No caso de a AT44 estar conseguindo somente 10 tiros sem regulador é bem provável que esteja ajustada para potência bem alta, se reduzir a tensão da mola do martelo para reduzir a potência, pode conseguir mais tiros mesmo sem regulador. A vantagem do regulador é que você tem muito menos variação de velocidade enquanto a pressão do ar no cilindro estiver acima da pressão do regulador. Abraço!!
Great info. One of the best do-it-yourself mods for an air rifle I have seen so far. It looks like the bt 65 might have a threaded barrel. Any chance of it being able to take a silencer? I have heard it puts out over a hundred db's. Not a back yard friendly rifle!
Thanks! Yes the BT65 has a 1/2" UNF threaded barrel for suppressors, muzzle breaks or air strippers, and it is very loud at full power. Even with a regulator, its noise is uncomfortable at indoor ranges, definitely not back yard friendly! I always use a suppressor. Estive pensando - o sonho é ter uma válvula reguladora na PCP ... MAS me ocorreu agora, se você considerou o volume "perdido" no cilindro, ocupado por ela agora. Certamente continua a ser vantajoso seu uso mas o cilindro, já de volume pequeno, agora fica menor.

Amigo, tenho um at44w, e coloquei a valvula do zeca. 260 m/s com jsb exact heavy. da em torno de 30 tiros tambem. Em 45 metros coloco dois ovos e com tres tiros quebro eles. sempre atiro a 45 metros por causa do meu terreno e é um tiro em cima do outro. Sempre apoiado. Meu irmao tambem tem uma e colcou a valvula depois que viu eu atirar. kkk. inveja pura.
Obrigado! Bom, eu uso um compressor elétrico para encher as PCPs e só atiro com ele por perto, então nem me preocupei com mudanças na autonomia :-). Pelo que pude observar, o problema de redução no volume do cilindro é mais considerável se pretender usar bastante potência no tiros, o regulador teria que ser ajustado para uma pressão alta e provavelmente a quantia de tiros bons seria igual ou menor do que sem o regulador. No caso da BT65 .22, a autonomia aumentou um pouco, a potência média abaixou cerca de 30 m/s, porém a variação na velocidade passou de mais de 20 m/s em 30 tiros para menos de 6 m/s em 35 tiros. Para mim a vantagem é para o uso do regulador, mas gostaria de ter um segundo cilindro sem regulador para aqueles tiros em potência máxima (você que tem uma Sumatra sabe que é divertido destruir alguns alvos!!).
Vi novamente os vídeos do seu compressor. Nossa ! legal mesmo, mas caro que doí ... ou não - a bomba doí muito ! Então, não conseguindo comprar o compressor e não aguentando acionar a bomba já pela idade avançada, resolvi comprar um scuba de 11 litros da Rossi. Por sorte na minha cidade tenho um amigo que tinha uma loja de mergulho - fechou mas manteve o compressor e algumas coisas. Hoje presta serviço pra muita gente e cobra 50 reais pra encher meu cilindro. Estou contente.
O scuba foi minha primeira intenção, mas só tinha um lugar que recarregava e não quis correr o risco se ele fechasse.

With my BT65 it is a good velocity for Baracuda Match 5,53mm. I think works ok from 27 to 52J (though I've tried that only with a HW100 that likes Baracudas also).

At44 for hatsan check out on pyramid at44 class regulator is like a black tube
I just saw it at Pyramid Air, and from the photos I think it installs similar to the regulator in my video, one difference is the link from the regulator to the output valve. The Hatsan regulator output must be inserted into the air cylinder output valve, to do so you must remove the plastic cap that holds the output valve spring (the white one in the AT44, black and threaded in the BT65).
Best and safest thing to do is to contact Hatsan asking for an instruction manual of their product.
