In this video we headed to the BGC where we was staying with some friends, this was our first day in Manila and thought we would share with you our first impressions of the BGC area in Manila.
But keep around because this video is just the start of the Manila content!
Our channel is based around us Jacob & Chloe, we are a couple from England who saved our money and quit our jobs to peruse our dreams of travelling the world!! But.. We want you to come on this journey with us! Hello Jacob and Chloe! Welcome to the Philippines! I also watched your first video in the Philippines. Editing needs improvement and the camera you are using has lens flare. If you are using an iPhone simply update your phone to the latest software and also constantly clean your lens. If its a camera, have it cleaned too or get a cleaning kit. On the positive side, you both are enjoying your stay here and I wish you could show more in your videos. Looking forward for your adventures in the Philippines! 😊

Go to Podium Mall in Ortigas Central Business District (30 mins. away from BGC). It's a whole different planet. You missed the sky garden at the rooftop of SM Aura Mall. Have a wonderful Philippine adventures! Cheers!

If you're still in BCG, try to connect with Mergim (mergim vlogs), he's from UK. He's very friendly vlogger, he can be of great help in your BGC tour. If you're an e-scotter user, there are available for rent around BGC for easy BGC roaming. Mergim used to rent one but now he's using a motorbike as one of the filipino vlogger lent him a motorbike. Mergim lives somewhere in BGC

Rockwell mall is the best xmas decor,
SM AURA is ok but you have to visit The PODIUM, ROCKWELL POWERPLANT MALL, SM MEGAMALL, GREENBELT MALLs and SHANGRILA PLAZA and also the Venice inspired VENICE GRAND CANAL MALL and experience the Gondola Ride guys.

Aside from BGC, you can check Ayala, Makati city it's also a modern city in Manila. Try to go to Venice mall just around BGC it's has a venice grand canal mall like in italy.

Greenbelt Mall and Rockwell are great malls aesthetically. SM malls are pretty regular/standard.

You havent been to mall of asia, sm megamall, sm city north edsa, shangri-la mall, powerplant mall, greenbelt mall 1,2,3,2,4 and 5 then you say which one is better. 😊
We didn’t have enough time to visit all the malls whilst we was in Manila :(
Absolutely many foreign and local tourists or vloggers/bloggers claimed that BGC is number 1 of all.
@@antigraftandcorruption5849 it is definitely on the more luxurious side of Manila but we do love to experience authenticity of a city which we don’t think the BGC has as much as other parts of Manila!

@@jacobmcguire1 The city centers have to spring up from somewhere, sure BGC isnt what youll see across the entire city, you wont see a BGC that makes up any whole city on earth.

I recommend you to visit BGC VENICE GRAND CANAL MALL and also Eastwood city. A lot of things to see
Forbes Town is one of the best place there in BGC. That’s my place during the pandemic . Just back in the USA 2020

You must visit BGC high street ( from burgos circle to marketmarket - sm Aura) at night. Full lot of lights and things to do at weekend.. its all connected.

You can also go to the new Dolomite beach and enjoy the Manila sunset, then eat at the Seafood Market along Roxas Blvd. You can also try the Ace Water Spa in Q.C. or Pasig Branches and experience a relaxing Hydrotherapy massage. The center is the High Street, 1 kilometer walk of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
